LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE: (2013) U.S. Army Platoon Leader: Officer in charge of the military, physical, and professional development of 13 soldiers in a combat forward-deployed and garrison environment.
While forward deployed, responsible for developing a cohesive and concurrent training plan that took soldiers from individual tasks to platoon sized maneuver. Responsible for overseeing and leading military combat operations. Assigned as the Paying Agent responsible for purchasing all necessary equipment for a forward operating base on the Kenyan/Somali border. Purchases exceeded $20,000 monthly.

While in a garrison environment, directly managed and accounted for over $30 million in equipment without a single loss.
Developed a mathematical program using Microsoft Excel and R in order to predict the Armys future expenditures on housing movements for soldiers. Recognized by Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, for the program which is now used in developing the budget analysis for the Army G1 requests to Congress.

(2012) Internship conducted with the Army G1 at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.:

(2011-2012) Cadet Regimental Public Affairs Officer: Responsible for handling the public relations and philanthropy events for 1100 Cadets.
Directly mentored 15 cadets in order to ensure their well-rounded success as future leaders of the United States Army. Coordinated a charity program that generated over $25,000 dollars for the Combined Federal Campaign.

(2011) Cadet Battalion Command Sergeant Major: Responsible for carrying out the discipline, policies, standards of performance, appearance, and conduct of over 550 cadets
Initiated, implemented and supervised several military and physical development training programs to prepare cadets for military training schools, which ensured their individual successes. Led the initial investigation of several misconduct cases and reported the cases and my initial findings to the proper authorities, resulting in a more professional and orderly working environment.
