disconnect from supply before clearing debris. Keep the power source clear of debris and other accumulations to prevent damage to the power source or possible fire. Remember that operating the starting mechanism on engine powered machines will still cause the cutting means to move. 10). Keep all guards and deflectors in place and in good working condition. 11). Do not tamper with the power source governor settings; the governor controls the safe maximum operating speed and protects the power source and all moving parts from damage caused by over-speed. Seek authorised service if a problem exists. 12). Do not transport this machine while the power source is running. 13). Shut off the power source and disconnect from supply whenever you leave the work area. 14). Do not tilt the machine while the power source is running. 15). When feeding material into the product be extremely careful that the mains cable is not accidently fed into the product. 16). Keep hands and feet away from the cutting means at all times and especially when switching on the motor. 17). Do not touch the cutting means before the machine is disconnected from the supply and the cutting means hav e come to a complete stop. 18). Whilst using the product ensure the cable does not become trapped under the wheels or support feet. 4. Maintenance and storage 1). When the machine is stopped for servicing, inspection, or storage, or to change an accessory, shut off the power source, disconnect form supply, make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop and, where a key is fitted remove the key. Allow the machine to cool before making any inspections, adjustments, etc. 2). When servicing the cutting means be aware that, even though the power source will not start due to the interlock feature of the guard, the cutting means can still be moved by a manual starting mechanism. 3). use only approved replacement parts. 4). Before use the supply and extension cord for signs of damage or ageing, 5). If the cord becomes damaged during use, disconnect the cord from the power supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE SUPPLY; 6). Do not use the shredder if the cords are damaged or worn. 5. Additional safety instructions 1). Do not expose to moisture. 2). 1). Only insert as much material so as to prevent blockage of the feeding funnel. Chop garden waste that has been stored for some days and is wilted and damp alternately with branches. This prevents the cutting blades from blocking up. Do not fill soft waste such as kitchen rubbish into the shredder. Widely branched material with leaves must be completely chopped before new material is fed. Take care that the chopped material can fall freely from the ejection slot. 2). Keep hold of branches while feeding them into the shredder until they are automatically drawn in. 3). Keep to the working speed of the shredder and do not overload it. 4). To protect the shredder from clogging, shred wilted garden waste that has been left for a few days and shred thin twigs alternately with branches. 5). Before you shred roots, remove any remaining soil and stones from them. 6). Do not shred soft, damp material such as kitchen waste, but take it straight to the compost. 7). Keep a few dry branches for the end, as they will help clean the shredder. 8). Only switch the shredder off when all of the shredding material has passed through the discharge chutes. Otherwise, the discharge chutes may jam the next time you switch the shredder on.

A CAUTION! The ventilation must not be covered
