MARINE HEATING SYSTEMS
S-Man AB, a company within the Euroboilers group, spe-
cializes in turn-key heating systems cargo, bunker and
accommodation heating.
During more than 50 years, S-Man has served as a le-
ading supplier of steam- and hot water systems tailor
made for virtually any type of ship. S-Man is also the
company which introduced thermal oil as heating media
for the Scandinavian market already in the 1960s.
S-Man is a member of the Euroboilers Group specializing in Marine Heating Systems. Garioni Naval S.p.A is a European cost-effective and
high quality producer of Steam boilers, Steam Generators, Thermal uid Heaters, Hot Water Heaters and Exhaust Gas Boilers. Working toge-
ther, we are one of very few suppliers world-wide able to meet almost all possible requirements within the marine eld. The knowledge of
each company is combined to further technical development.

Vertical steam water tube boilers for marine applications,
steam production up to 25 ton/h.
GWT marine steam boilers are of vertical water tube
linear type, ideal for the use in difcult situation and in
medium/high capacity range, where liability assumes the
most important rule.
The GWT Steam boiler distinguish itself with the fol-
lowing advantages: high efciency (min. 85%, up to 89%),
due to the perfect and complete use of the high heated
surface of the effective three smoke passes. Minimum use
of refractory and insulating concrete. Liability, due to the
low thermal load. Easy maintenance, with two steam soot
blowers allowing to clean and control the pipes on smoke
side in short time, without dismounting any other parts of
the boiler.

As a result of our long experience we know how to ma-
nufacture boilers that provide low life cycle costs for the
owner. The amount of refractory materials is minimized to
reduce service costs, thermic inertia and to provide a bet-
ter thermic exchange in the combustion chamber.
The combustion chamber itself is well dimensioned to pro-
vide a low specic thermic charge, a better exploitation
of irradiated surfaces and a complete combustion inside
the chamber. The heated surfaces in our boilers can be
inspected and cleaned via front- or reardoors.
Coils are welded to plates in order to increase safety
and to allow a fast and easy change of coils in case of a
damage. On the smoke side, the pressure loss is as low as
possible to increase the efciency.
The large steaming surfaces in our steamboilers provi-
des dry steam and higher efciency. A higher water volume
allows stronger variations of steam request.
To ensure long term exibility, it is possible to equip
the boiler with a burner from any of the leading burner
manufacturers world-wide. All accessories and equipment
are supplied from well-known manufacturers to ensure
conformity and long-term access to replacement parts and
service.

The NG Steam Boilers are the result of intensive studies to
create a modern Steam Boiler for small and medium size
applications to assure:

COMBI is a high quality composite boiler design offering
the space-saving alternative of two boilers combined into
one. COMBI is a combined oil and exhaust gas-red boiler
with a capacity range of up to 7t/h steam from the oil-red
section and up to 4t/h from the exhaust gas section. It is a
standardized, preassembled boiler plant which is fast and
easy to install.
Fire tube vertical boilers, composed by a ame and
a recovery side to be installed on the exhaust gas plant.
When the exhaust gas side is not enough, the ame side
automatically turns on in order to integrate the lacking ste-
am. Realized in vertical or horisontal version.
Combi has adequate space for inspection and mainte-
nance in the steam/water space. The boiler can easily be
water washed or mechanically cleaned. The smoke tubes
are easy to clean.
COMBI
COMBINED STEAM BOILERS FIRE TUBE STEAM BOILERS

Controlled circulation, water tube boilers suitable for the
production of hot water, and three gas passes. They are
realized both in vertical and horizontal version. They have
elevated efciencies (>91%), are tested for pressure up
to 36 bar and have limited dimensions. They produce hot
water in only ve minutes and have minimum heat disper-
sions towards the atmosphere which guarantees a higher
global efciency in comparison with a traditional hot water
boiler.

GMT are forced circulation Steam Generators. The water,
pushed by one or more piston pumps, circulates through
the coil that represents the heated surface, licked on the
outside by the combustion products. As a result of the
characteristics of the construction, regulations an safety
devices, GMT Steam Generators provide absolute safety
from working- and accident prevention points of view. GMT
Steam Generators represent the best solution whenever lo-
west cost, maximum power in limited space, the highest
working pressure, the maximum efciency (90%) or fully
automatic functioning is required. The Steam Generators
can be supplied with high/low or modulated regulation.
The GMT Steam Generators can be delivered in horizontal
or vertical version.
Maxi is an electric and automatic steam generator from
6,9 up to 120 kw. Feed water can be connected direct to
main water or from a condensate tank.

HOT WATER BOILER
NPR
Our NPR Hot Water Boilers are low NOx reverse ame boi-
lers with minimum guaranteed efciency of 91%. The NPR
is designed and manufactured in accordance with restricti-
ve anti pollution regulations. Easy maintenance is ensured
via completely hinged front door.
The NPR Hot water boilers can be delivered including
electrical heating elements with various outputs and to
the number requested. Necessary switches and automatic
controls are tted in same cabinet and enclosures as for
the oil-red burner.

Our TH thermal oil heaters have been engineered for maxi-
mum efciency even without feed air preheater. On these
kind of heaters it is possible to install every type of com-
mercial burner, which allows the costumer to have an easy
and low cost of the after sales service, anywhere needed.
The characteristics of the TH heaters are:

Quick set-up.
Maximum running reliability.
Vertical and horizontal versions according to the costu-
mers needs. The possibility to use a uid in Iiquid fase
at high temperature (up to 340 C) and with atmospheric
pressure is extremely interesting for marine applications.
ECONOMIZER

The exhaust gas boilers/economizers GN ECO have been
studied to be installed in all types of industrial processes
when discharging hot gasses in the atmosphere. Hot gas-
ses, owing through the GN ECO are used to heat another
countercurrent uids, achieving important energy savings
while reducing operating costs.
Economizers can be built in different versions, as a fun-
ction of the different utilities and the chemical composition
of the gasses.
They are available with nned pipe, seamless- or stainless
steel pipe according to the specications. Exhaust gas boi-
lers are available in the following types:
