Responsibilities: Involved in oracle 9i/10g/11g DBA activities for supporting development and production environment. Performing daily health checks of RAC instances and databases. Monitoring the database instances using SRVCTL. Taking OCR and Voting Disk backups manually if required. Maintaining the load balance on both server side and client side. Performing Cold backup and Hot backup as per strategies. Performing Backup through RMAN Backups including implementation of RMAN. Monitoring the database for CPU utilization and killing unwanted user processes. Export and Import of tables, schemas and Full db as per development team requirement.
