COMMANDO Select armored vehicles build upon the success of earlier platforms like our COMMANDO Advanced/Armored Security Vehicle, battle-proven over more than 10 years in locations including Iraq, Colombia and Afghanistan. COMMANDO Select vehicles provide an extended crew compartment, additional ground clearance and Enhanced Survivability features, including superior IED, mine-blast and direct-fire protection. The COMMANDO family incorporates a monocoque V-shaped hull of welded armored steel with exterior mounted modular expandable ceramic armor appliqu and a bonded composite inner spall liner for maximum survivability and exceptional crew protection. Multimission-capable and customizable based on a common chassis for all variants, COMMANDO Select vehicles deliver superior mobility and survivability, as demonstrated during combat operations in Afghanistan. All COMMANDO Select systems are protected under armor and are scalable to meet customer-specific requirements. In addition to designing and manufacturing customized armored vehicles, Textron Marine & Land Systems offers end-to-end vehicle support from spares and manuals, in the language of your choice, to a highlytrained, experienced field staff specializing in vehicle training, maintenance and logistics support.

Along with the 40mm/.50 cal turret (above) and the gunners protection kit, other options are available.

The 90mm Direct Fire vehicle adds a tested, proven 90mm turret for additional firepower.

The mortar variant is capable of firing shells up to 120mm.

The APC ambulance provides protection to the crew during patient transport. It accommodates 2 ambulatory and two litter patients.
