TCE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE), Madurai, an ISO 9001:2008 certified Institution, affiliated to Anna University is one among the several educational and philanthropic institutions founded by Philanthropist and Industrialist Late. Shri. Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar. It was established in the year 1957 and granted Autonomy in the year 1987. TCE is funded by Central and State Governments and Management TCE offers Seven Undergraduate Programmes, Fourteen Postgraduate Programmes and Doctoral Programmes in Engineering, Sciences and Architecture. TCE is an approved QIP centre for pursuing Ph.D. programmes in Engineering. 87 Recognized Research Supervisors are guiding around 350 research scholars for Ph.D. degree under Anna University and other Universities. TCE has collaborative / sponsored projects from AICTE, UGC, DST, DRDO, BRNS, CSIR, MIT, MNRES, SAMEER, etc. TCE has interfaced with National / Multinational Industries and has actively collaborated in respect of Curriculum development, Academic Research, R&D projects, Consultancy, Internship, Placement and In-house training. To expose the process techniques of the composite material and its grand challenges in the field of engineering and to motivate young researcher towards carrying out appropriate research in this field. This workshop offers techniques like vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding process for the polymer composite manufacturing method used in aerospace industries. These also cover thermo and thermo setting plastics and natural polymer composites for the manufacturing of polymer nano composites.
