A Russian Coalition Armoured Brigade contains between Three and Six Formations. Command Units may select Command Abilities from the Command Abilities section of the Rulebook. Unless otherwise specified as part of a Scenario, a Commander can take ONE Fortifications Formation as one of the Formations in their Brigade. Formations are grouped together into Emplacements rather than Battalions or Squadrons. The Units in an Emplacement do not need to be in base contact to be considered in coherency. Instead, they can be placed up to 8 apart. Additionally, the Command Unit in a Fortifications Formation has a Command Distance of 8. In all other respects, Emplacements obey the rules for Battalions.
