RELEVENT EXPERIENCE 2013 Marketing and Administration Work Experience (The Beck Theatre) Currently undertaking work experience alongside the marketing team at the Beck theatre. Two days a week for two months. 2013 Marketing Placement (Watermans Arts Centre) Worked alongside the marketing team assisting the head marketing director. Helped to run the Arts Summer School, built on team management skills when supervising children participating in workshops. Created and produced publicity for forthcoming events. Showed high use of liaising and communication skills through contacting potential customers. Demonstrated ability to write for specific audiences through writing press releases for upcoming events. 2013 Applied Drama Project (Working with children in care) Worked with children in care, aged 4-10. Co-facilitated a series of workshops where participants could express themselves, build on a set of skills and have a fun time as well as connect them with those in a similar position. Planned and devised workshops, using drama based games and activities to develop skills and build relationships, whilst ensuring the children were engaged and happy. Developed liaising skills when contacting the school who provided the participants. The ability to manage the dynamics of the participants in order to create and harmonious environment and productive learning. 2008 Teaching Assistant (Cranford Park Primary School) Supported a Primary School Teacher. Assisting them with their lesson preparation and planning. Supported S.E.N (special educational needs) students by working one to one, identifying appropriate and relevant methods to help improve their ability to understand and interpret instructions, in order to carry out tasks confidently and correctly. Promoted to Merit Sales. Customer facing role dealing with sales, returns, enquires and orders. Meet daily and weekly targets. Works well under pressure. Efficient in providing friendly and responsive customer service. Managed groups of colleagues, distributing roles in order to prepare for seasonal sales.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experienced in receiving and responding to a variety of information and presenting this in a range of visual, verbal and written formats. Manage own roles and responsibilities, successful in organising time effectively and able to take initiative. Strong customer focus, seek to encourage customer loyalty and awareness of customer trends. Able to think critically and interpret different points of view well.

INTERESTS Always been passionate about drama and going to the Theatre. Provided technical stage support for GCSE and A level performances. Regularly indulges in reading plays of different genres and style to further my knowledge and appreciation for Theatre.
