Dear Customer As we become more and more used to instant gratification and immediacy it never fails to amaze me the forward planning that goes into producing our 32 page, quarterly, paper and ink homage to pipe smoking! Why do I mention this? Well as I write this letter the leaves outside my window are gradually turning from green to red (its Boston Ivy by the way) and a light mist is slowly clearing to reveal a beautiful, autumnal day here in Guernsey. However, when this catalogue, our 115th Edition, is completed and reaches doormats around the UK and further afield Id wager the atmospheric conditions will be less palatable! So if it is bleak outside why not hunker down, stoke the fire, pop a palm full into your favourite bowl and prepare to enjoy But first, when perusing the catalogue its important to remember that these 32 pages are just a snapshot of what we have available. Displaying 250+ pipes, around 40 tobaccos, more than 20 lighters and countless accessories in a manageable tome is beyond us, but should you wish to explore our complete offering our website at www.eacarey.co.uk serves as our full display cabinet. For those preferring to steer clear of the internet please feel free to use previous catalogues in conjunction with this latest edition. Many ranges we carry in perpetuity, and if theres something youd like from a previous edition thats no longer on display or readily available well do our best to find it for you anyway And as always at this time of year a brief word about the Christmas holidays To ensure delivery in time for Xmas please place all orders before 1pm, 18th December. This blend is a heat treated Virginia and Burley flake, matured in the press for 8 weeks to allow the natural prune and chocolate notes to come through. A fully teased and rubbed version of the Dark Flake No. 7, retaining all the same delicate chocolate and prune character but in what is for many people a more familiar style of tobacco. A traditional lakeland tobacco and a replica of SGs popular Squadron Leader blended dark and bright Virginias, together with Latakia and Turkish leaf resulting in a perfect, mediumbodied mixture giving you a rich, slow-burning smoke.
T3002 Old Scotch 11.20 50g pouch

This aromatic blend is packed full of Virginia, Burley and Cavendish tobaccos enriched with a shot of old scotch, creating a light, easy smoking mixture for your pleasure.
T3004 Rum Flake 11.20 50g pouch

A Christmas Cake richness achieved by the addition of maple sugars and rum to the naturally sweet suncured tobaccos which make up a significant part of this rewarding flake tobacco. A fine addition to our range.
T3006 Mixed Coconut 11.20 50g pouch

A mixture of spicey Asian Burleys, American Virginias and Orientals with genuine Bourbon, vanilla and coconut flavourings to give a sweet body and satisfying, aromatic smoke.
T3008 Black Twist 11.20 50g pouch

A new addition for Carey, we have introduced a Black Twist for variety. Our master blenders have taken African dark fired leaf which has then been cooked and pressed, then spun into a twist and cut into circles. Delicious!
