Job description: Will report to the Director of Corporate Compliance & Corporate Security, the Regional Corporate Security

Manager will provide in-depth security and risk analysis capabilities, in support of the overall Corporate Security programs and objectives, and to meet various compliance or regulatory requirements. This is accomplished by establishing and maintaining political, criminal and business risk intelligence to identify global risks and threats, and creating guidelines and contingencies to mitigate these risks. The role requires providing advice, investigative services and security management expertise to various internal clients. A high level of response and service is expected. Responsibilities: -Able to work in a fast paced environment, managing several projects, tasks and priorities as circumstances dictate; -Responsible for supervising other security advisors, contracted security services or consultants; -Able to work closely with in-country Corporate and Projects management, in a variety of locations across the country; -Gather and analyze information and intelligence from various sources to assess risk. Analysis of potential risks, criticality and impact to business operations; -Liaison with industry, government, police and intelligence agencies. Develop and refine various governments, regulatory security practices to ensure compliance with emerging regulations; -Develop policies, standards and guidelines to mitigate risk. Inspect, review and audit security procedures as required; -Review security plans to ensure compliance with various regulations or guidelines; -Conduct security vulnerability assessments or security surveys involving business facilities, company events, or operational facilities or assets. Identify potential security risks and prescribe cost effective strategies to mitigate these risks. -Provide expert direction in consistent application of industry standards or methodology pertaining to security measures. Inspect/review to ensure best practice levels are being sought. -Assist with coordination of activities of various internal groups with security related responsibilities (Major Construction Projects, Corporate Services, or Operations) or common interests (Legal, Human Resources, EHS) to keep overall corporate security priorities addressed; -Assist with emergency and crisis management responses when required and provide security advice, by developing contingencies for adverse conditions; -May be required to organize and supervise contracted security services, as required; -Develop and deliver security awareness and crime prevention information and presentations to company employees. Advocate employee involvement in protecting the companys competitive advantage by reducing opportunities for losses to occur, protecting valuable information resources and customer relationships; and -Due to the scope of the companys operations, travel is anticipated to be approximately 40% within Mexico. *This position will require travel across borders and as such the candidate must be able to provide applicable documentation to this affect. *Please note, this industry participates in the E-Verify program supervised by the US Government. Education/ and Experience

-10+ years Corporate Security experience is required -Strong understanding of physical and personnel security applications in the corporate and business enterprise is required; -University/College degree or work experience equivalency in related discipline; -Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation (American Society for Industrial Security) is preferable. -Business English proficiency in Spanish and English is a mandatory requirement. -Able to legally work in Mexico -Experience working in an international (expatriate) environment, and working with foreign expatriate personnel -Experience in the pipeline, power generation, or related oil and gas experience is an asset. -Excellent interpersonal skills (communicating, conflict resolution, influencing, decision making, facilitating, listening, mentoring), with the ability to develop and present information and material related to current security issues to employee groups -Advanced knowledge of the law in civil and criminal jurisdiction, ability to conduct thorough investigations into security related issues. -Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data and events, provide evaluation of impact and mitigation. -Advanced knowledge of applicable standards, guidelines and industry best practices relating to security and business issues. -Ability to work independently and also play integral roles within diverse teams and groups. -A high degree of personal integrity and trust is necessary to perform confidential assignments and investigations. *Successfully complete a security clearance/criminal record check.
