REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR AN ITALIAN SCHENGEN BUSINESS VISA (AFFARI)

Application form (fully completed, dated and signed by the applicant). Passport having validity of at least 180 days from date of expiry of requested visa, with at least 2 blank pages. (Photocopies of the first 6 pages and the last 4 pages as well as any previous Schengen Visas). Two recent passport-size colour photographs (white background only). Photo should be taken from VFS PHOTO BOOTH (Authorized by Italian Embassy) A detailed letter of presentation addressed to the Embassy by the applicants company specifying: a. Purpose of the trip b. Professional status of Applicant c. Details regarding activities and business relation with Italian company (for Employer and Employee). For an employee: a. Appointment letter b. salary statements/payslips of the last six months (original + photocopy).

For Business Owners/Employer/Self Employed: a. Registration documents of the applicants company b. certificate of incorporation c. memorandum of articles and association (copies of the first two and last page with the names of the shareholders) d. valid membership certificate with local chamber of commerce e. tax number f. VAT registration g. Trade License (original and photocopy). Personal & Company Bank Account Statements of the last six months. (original + photocopy) Credit Card Statements if available. Signed letter of invitation Lettera dinvito per Affari from the Italian Company emailed or faxed directly to the Italian Embassy in Dhaka. (A copy of which must also be submitted by the visa applicant). Only the official invitation letter (which can be downloaded from www.ambdhaka.esteri.it ) will be accepted. Please note that the Italian Company must send its Chamber of Commerce documents.

Hotel Reservation. (An official letter from the hotel confirming the booking in the name of the applicant must be submitted). Overseas Medical Insurance with minimum coverage of Euro 30,000- with the inclusion of a repatriation flight if required. (Photocopy). Please note ONLY the following insurance companies are accepted by the Schengen States: 1. Bangladesh National Insurance, 2. Delta Life Insurance Company, 3. Green Delata Life Insurance, 4. Mercantile Insurance, 5. Paramount Insurance, 6. Pioneer insurance Company, 7. Reliance Insurance, 8. Sadharan Bima Corporation. Booking of return air ticket (original and photocopy). Participants to trade fairs in Italy must submit evidence of the full payment of the stall.
