1. Welcome Everyone Meeting Called to order at 6:08 2. Western School Song 3. Roll Call Attendance Called by Speaker Maha 4. Adoption of Agenda Motioned by Maha 5. Presentations to Council Purple Store Presentation Alyssa Owens The purple store is a UCC organization to collaborate and serve students. It is a location where faculty merchandise can be sold to students. The Health Science faculty currently has an order coming through for the new year. Fire and Ice Formal Kristen Crane Thank you council for promoting for this Fridays coming formal and a big thanks to Craig for making a video. Please arrive at 10pm for the start and tickets are 20$ in advance and 25$ at the door. Coat Check will be 2$. Please see the powerpoint for details regarding food and drinks. Fall Preview Day Morgan Jennings Please arrive at 8:00am on Saturday November 16th so everyone can get organized. Throughout the day there are various activities and presentations. Please see the powerpoint for the breakdown of the event. This year we will have training for fall preview day taking place at 5:30pm - 7 the Thursday prior.

6. Presidents Announcements Health Sci, Have Your Say Laura Crich. The Health Sci have your say was very successful with 21 responses and there was a meeting with the Dean. This will be going on throughout the year and open for responses. Please see the PowerPoint for specifics of the meeting and the new considerations. 7. Members Announcements VPs: Events, Finance, Student Affairs, Student Events, Communications

Finance SOF applications were due earlier this week and the subcommittee will be meeting within the coming weeks. Reimbursements from council should be brought directly to Sumer if needed. Communications Thank you for all your help and for promoting . Tank tops and scarves are coming. The newest Pulse newsletter is coming out tomorrow. School Council Presidents Kin Their annual volleyball tournament is coming up as well as a faculty social. Health Studies There is an upcoming social November 15th. USC Councillors A review of the past meeting was discussed. The USC started an online website to start online student engagement. There was issues with budget and there is opportunity for council to use some of the surplus money through the innovation fund to improve student life. LEARN is holding a meeting with town hall on November 14th. Students-At-Large Members-At-Large Senate The Senate is looking to expand study spaces as well as access to internet information. The residences are being changed to meet policy. Bus passes and health coverage are looking to be expanded to non full time students. TA evaluation and academic councillors is being addressed by the Senate. The Dean was very supportive of all the topics and recommendations. Deans Office Head Soph Commissioners/Coordinators (Website, Social Media and Publications, FHS Games, Programming, Merchandise) WEBSITE - Some pictures for the website were missing, but for the most part they are up and running. FHS GAMES Be prepared as this is upcoming. MERCHANDISE Tank tops are in the making and currently being finalized. There was discussion and voting for design. 8. Council Business New Positions Sarah Prescott o Photographer, Promotions Commissioner, Graphics Designer Jessica Chin explained the various new positions needed for council. Motions carried.

9. Question Period There was clarification that all the new positions passed are located under the communications committee. If you are interested you may email Jessica Chin, we are trying to fill these in positions internally to start. 10. New Business Laura - The Western Co-Curricular record is now including council positions. 11. Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 7:18
