SECOND WITNESS: JOHN 5:17 -29 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. 18: Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.19: Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20: For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21: For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22: For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. 24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear thevoice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26: For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27: And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. THIRD WITNESS: JOHN 1:18- 20 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. 19: And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20: And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. FOURTH WITNESS: JOHN 3: 34-36 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35: The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into

his hand. 36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. FIFTH WITNESS: JOHN 3:18 20 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20: For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to light, lest his deeds should be reproved. SIXTH WITNESS: JOHN 1:28 30 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. 30: This is of whom I said, After me cometh which is preferred before me: for he is before me. SEVENTH WITNESS: JOHN 3:28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, said, I am not the Christ, but sent before him. 29: He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30: He must increase, but I must decrease.

THE ONE AND INDIVISIBLE GLORY

Beloved, this is the message we have for you. I have always asked the Christ's students, Christ servants, ordained ones, and indeed the entire brethren to always be around to receive the farewell message, so that they could get it directly from the horse's mouth. Do not wait for someone to tell you what to do. I WANT YOU TO GET THESE WORDS DIRECT FROM ME. I also said the King of Kings and

Queen Mother should be in attendance during the farewell session. THERE EXIST ONLY ONE GLORY. THIS GREAT AND INDIVISIBLE GLORY IS MEANT FOR ONLY THE ALMIGHTY GOD AND HIS SERVANTS. The rest of other people are placed in positions of responsibility by this one God and Father. And these people no matter their status, stature, race and tongue are subject to the power that has placed them in such positions; AND IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU RESPECT THE GREATEST BEING THAT HAS KEPT THEM WHERE THEY ARE.
WHOEVER THEREFORE DISREGARDS OR DISOBEYS THEM, DIRECTLY CHALLENGES GOD, AND SUCH A PERSON SHALL FACE THE WRATH OF GOD. YOUR ACT OF DISOBEDIENCE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SUFFERING TODAY. IT IS ALSO DUE TO YOUR FAILURE TO HONOR THE PRESENCE AND AUTHORITY OF GOD IN MAN. YOU DO NOT HAVE RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER. DO YOU NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WHENEVER YOU RESPECT MAN YOU ARE DOING SO TO GOD? Clearly if you love one another, you have loved God and if you are truthful to one another, you are equally being truthful to God. Whatever belongs to the Father also belongs to the Son. Everybody is therefore enjoined to humble himself so as to carry out the instructions issued out by the ones that God has placed in positions of authority. By so doing, you will receive many blessings from God. If you adhere to these instructions by respecting those in authority and also endeavor to practice righteousness, then would Brotherhood be recognized. Note that if Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is recognized, it would

invariably mean that you are equally recognized. The reason being that whatever honor and glory are accorded Brotherhood of the Cross and Star the same which extends to you as well. Also, know that until Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is fully glorified, you cannot have full glory. WHEN GOD IS GLORIFIED THE SON IS ALSO GLORIFIED So, is it not incumbent on you to magnify the glory of God so that consequently you will also be glorified. Anybody who serves God is glorified alongside God. This is in conformity with what the Bible affirms that; whoever believes in the Son invariably believes in the Father who had sent Him. Therefore, from now, it is absolutely unnecessary to plead with the King of Kings or the Holy Queen Mother to take you to the Father. Do not also seek to have audience with the King of Kings or Holy Queen Mother. You should desist from seeking to be taken to any personality in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to demand for one favor or the other. Do not involve in backbiting, gossiping, mourning, murmuring and other acts capable of causing discrimination or segregation in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, for the entire world has been united into one indivisible fold. WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU IS EXHIBITED OF ABSOLUTE FAITH IN GOD THE FATHER. DO OBEY HIS INJUNCTIONS AND ABIDE STRICTLY BY HIS WORDS. Your post as a royal highness, bishop, pastor, apostle, Christ's student or servant, deaconess or child of God does not matter; WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO IS TO OBEY GOD'S WORD. YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE IMPLICIT FAITH IN HIS WORD. ALSO YOU HAVE TO OBEY ALL CONSTITUTED AUTHORITIES. Those of you in the Kingdom have to honor and respect one another. Do humble yourself since you know that you are all the messengers of God in His Kingdom. Remember that as God is revealed so also are you revealed. Also, as He is glorified, the glory also extends to you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. THE GREAT SIGNIFICANCE OF AUGUST PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY RECALL THE REVELATION THAT CAME THROUGH ASSASU INYANG

IBOM THAT, EVERYBODY MUST BRING GIFTS THREE TIMES IN A YEAR TO THE FATHER. HAVE YOU SHOWN ANY APPRECIATION FOR THIS MARVELOUS AUGUST PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY? You should know that our Lord Jesus Christ received His baptism in the River Jordan in the month of August. It was also in this memorable month of August (8/8/1958) that the members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star marched in white garment from No. 8 Eton Street to No. 26 Mbukpa Road all in Calabar metropolis. August is a month of great significance, so we are not only commemorating the historic exodus of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star from No. 8 Eton Street to No 26 Mbukpa Road, but we are also celebrating because it is the month of Christ's revelation. August was the month that our Lord -Jesus Christ was revealed for being so humble that He had to go to John the Baptist for baptism by immersion. Before His baptism, Christ had no disciples. It was after His baptism and revelation that He began to have disciples. Recall what God said about our Lord Jesus Christ that; "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved

Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3: 17.

A lot of great and significant events take place in the month of August. Professor Assasu Inyang Ibom's first book was read in the Kingdom in August; the bishops were appointed and ordained in August. Do not doubt the importance of the month of August. Everybody has to appreciate God's kindness to mankind in whatever he does in life. It is through these deeds that salvation is extended to the entire world, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. THIS IS A VERY LUCKY GENERATION; HENCE, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR THE ENORMOUS GOODNESS HE HAS SHOWN TO US. This is God's Kingdom and not the kingdom of the world. In this Kingdom, people are not mandated or forced to carry out certain duties or order. RATHER THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LISTEN TO THE SPIRIT AND ADHERE TO WHAT THEY ARE DIRECTED SPIRITUALLY. THAT IS WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS "SHOW LOVE" OR "FREE-WILL OFFERING". THE GREAT SIGNIFICANCE OF THE APRIL PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLY You should also know that April is another month of great importance. And for that reason, we the members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star celebrate the April Pentecostal. It was meant to enable us to be

able to offset our indebtedness to our Lord Jesus Christ. We have to continually celebrate throughout our life time. DEMONSTRATE YOUR APPRECIATION TO CHRIST Nothing contributed by anyone will be too much. If you present gifts to the Father during these different significant periods(APRIL[EASTER],AUGUST, DECEMBER ), that is THE THREE PENTECOSTAL PERIODS, your ways would be opened. Mark you, this show of appreciation has nothing to do with your regular tithe remitted to God. Everybody is free to erect structures, buy cars, ships, aircrafts, and clothes and donate money to the Kingdom. If I may ask; have you ever donated generously in appreciation of what God has blessed you with? You are supposed to give cheerfully and from your freewill. LAVISH BLESSINGS FOR YOU Henceforth, all those who have come here with various kinds of sicknesses, court cases with the police, such problems have been brought under the control of the Father. The Father has paved the way for those who are in lack and groaning in poverty; they shall no longer be in poverty. The barren have been blessed with children and the unemployed have been given jobs. MORESO, THE FATHER HAS RESTORED PEACE TO ALL AND SUNDRY, AND THE WORD OF GOD HAS BEEN SPREAD TO ALL PLANES, PLANETS AND OTHER REALMS OF MANIFEST. All those who have backslidden have been brought back by the Father. ALSO, GOD HAS GIVEN TO ALL WHO PREVIOUSLY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE WORK OF GOD, THE ABILITY TO NOW SERVE HIM. THOSE WHO CLAIM IGNORANCE OF THE SIGNIFICANCE OF BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR HAVE NOW BEEN MADE TO KNOW THE MEANING AND THE FATHER HAS LAVISHLY REVEALED HIMSELF TO THEM. EVERYTHING BELONGS TO THE FATHER: You should know that man, animal birds fishes, trees, grasses, rivers the air, and all things created and uncreated; things corporeal and incorporeal all constitute Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. There is nothing visible or invisible that does not belong to Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This is the time when everybody should come

together to celebrate the presence of the Everlasting Father.

Brotherhood cannot be seen in the flesh, you can only see Her in the Spirit. If you are in the spirit, you would see Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

GREATEST ADVICE:
EACH PERSON IS ADVISED TO HOLD FAST HIS POSITION IN THIS KINGDOM BECAUSE THE RATE OF INFLUX OF PEOPLE IN THE FOLD WILL BE AMAZING TO EVERYBODY. THERE WILL BE A GREAT RUSH FOR BAPTISM. WITH WARRI NEWS By Brume Ikperikpe Just Back from Calabar

August 2000

There have been widespread speculations, even among members of his flock, that the Founder and Sole spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS). Olumba Olumba Obu, was dead. What fueled the rumors and speculations w a s the sudden disappearance from public glare of the "King of Kings," as he is commonly referred to by adherents, several years ago. For some time now all activities of the church outside Calabar which were supposed to be carried out by Olumba him self are handled by his son, Bishop Rowland Obu. So severe were the conflicting reports of his death the WARRI NEWS ever alive to its responsibilities, got cracking and anchored in Calabar, the World Headquarters of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star on a fact finding mission. WARRI NEWS can authoritatively reveal that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is very much alive, hale and hearty. Our reporter arrived at Calabar at exactly 9:30 pm on Saturday, August 6th, 2000 and headed straight to the church headquarters where incidentally, the August 2000 jubilee celebration was taking place, which attracted thousands of faithfuls from all branches of Brotherhood nationwide. Unaware that the visitor was a journalist, a member of the Church when accosted said, You cant just walk in and see the leader like that. There are certain processes you have to follow. He continued, First you have to go to the Media and Publicity Unit and if they are satisfied with your mission, they will refer you to another higher authority and if they are

satisfied, you will then be taken to see the Father. Unimpressed with the response, our reporter nosed around 34 Ambo where the Brotherhood headquarters is located until a trader who was selling his wares said to our reporter, Papa is alive. When prodded further, the trader who apparently was of Igbo extraction added, You know Papa is old. His son usually holds brief for him these days. But he is there. He strolls outside the compound occasionally and goes back. These were all Warri News could gather on the first visit. At 5am the following Sunday Morning, Warri News was already there, this time with a resolute mission to uncover the true position of things. After introducing himself and explaining his mission our reporter was taken to Brother Eyo Okon, the information Secretary of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star inside the main auditorium. As he was answering questions from our reporter, Olumba Olumba Obu, the founder and Sole Spiritual Leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Worldwide, emerged from his temple to the bewildered amusement of our reporter. Okon suddenly sprawled on the floor and announced the presence and mission of this reporter to the Holy Father. This reporter was called upon to mount the rostrum with a microphone. After explaining his mission himself as requested, this brief dialogue took place between him and Leader Olumba Olumba Obu: Mr. Journalist, as you came here did you meet my corpse? No sir, I met you alive, our reporter replied. He continued, I am aware of the rumors of my death, even among members of my church. But I can assure you that all those wishing me dead, or are spreading wicked rumors that I am dead, they will all die.

I cannot die. God does

not die.
Is it true that you can appear physically at different places at the same time? our reported inquired. He replied, Oh yes! God does not stay in one place. I am everywhere, the legendary Olumba Olumba Obu replied. He continued, I installed Charles Taylor as President of Liberia. He came here to Calabar to see me, and I gave him the presidency of Liberia. They said no black man would rule South Africa, but I ensured that Nelson Mandela ruled that country and succeeded by Thabo Mbeki. He continued further, I gave Shegu Shagari a 6-month ultimatum to repent. He refused and he was toppled exactly on the day the ultimatum expired. I HAVE ALSO MADE SURE THAT A BLACK MAN WILL RULE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, SOON, THE SPIRITUAL LEADER ADDED. One fascination thing about Olumba Olumba Obu our reporter noted, was that at 82, having manifested on earth in 1918 , there is nothing to show that he was aged. Calm, soft-spoken, without any trace of wrinkles or any other telltale sign of old age, Olumba looked like a 45 year old man. He jumped and danced around effortlessly. A spokesman for the Brotherhood, Paul Ugochukwu, said, The leader would never grow old. He gets younger and younger by the day. Ugochukwu, a famous aircraft pilot enthused. Another aide, His Royal Highness, Uforo Edidem, said when Olumba was born a blind woman carried him and she immediately regained her sight. At the end of the session, our reporter was requested to sing a Christian song for the Father as Papa loves songs. Our reporter chose this song, We give Glory to the Lord, He reigns. He reigns, He reigns, He reigns, we give glory to the

Lord He reigns. The Holy Father nodded in approval, while the rest of the congregation exploded in ecstasy and took up the chorus. By this report, all speculations and rumors over the purported death of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has finally been put to rest. He is hale and hearty and does not seem to be in a hurry to leave this planet.
