CALIBRATION REQUIREMENTS 4.1 ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS The calibration laboratory environment shall be controlled to the extent necessary to ensure valid results. Temperature and relative humidity shall be monitored and recorded for future reference. 4.2 MEASUREMENT STANDARD ACCURACY The reference standard shall demonstrate an accuracy within +/-2% of a previously established baseline at all recorded ranges. Accuracy shall

be established and recorded prior to calibration of Weatherford Aerospace owned devices. 4.3 BLACK ;LIGHT METER 4.3.1 Black Light Meter calibration shall consist of taking three (3) readings to establish linearity of accuracy of the standard reading. 4.3.1.1 Calibrate the black light meter to its range of use: 1000 microwatts w/cm2. 2000 microwatts w/cm2. 3000 microwatts w/cm2. WHITE LIGHT METER 4.4.1 White Light Meter calibration shall consist of taking three (3) readings to establish linearity of accuracy of the standard reading. 4.4.1.1 Calibrate the white light meter to its range of use: <2 FC of visible white light 5 fc of visible white light 10 fc of visible white light ACCEPTABLE DEVICE TOLERANCE The DSE-100X Light Meter shall demonstrate an accuracy within +/- 3% of the reading obtained from the reference standard all recorded ranges after calibration. OUT OF TOLERANCE CONDITIONS If the Light Meter is determined to be out of tolerance during the calibration/verification process the vendor will immediately notify the Weatherford Aerospace Quality Department and provide information on the out-of-tolerance condition and associated measurement data so that appropriate action can be taken. ADJUSTMENT Any adjustments to the Light Meter will be clearly indicated on the Certificate of Conformance as as found/as left or before and after data. Adjustments made in response to an out-of-tolerance condition require the approval of Weatherford Aerospace.
