A conference for public health commissioners, CCGs, councillors, academics, citizens and organisations engaged in promoting health to debate what counts as evidence, what sort of evidence different partners want, and what we need to do to gain greater recognition for voice evidence. What evidence do local authorities, health and wellbeing boards, clinical commissioning groups, other statutory bodies and voluntary and community organisations need? How can the experience of citizens be included? What are the challenges of doing this? What does this mean for public health practitioners and academics? Do we need a new model of evidence that puts the experience of citizens at its heart?
