The eMatrix is safe and effective for all skin types. The eMatrix can be used on any area of the body, but the most popular areas include: face, neck, dcollet, abs and hips. How many treatments do I need? The typical protocol is three to six treatments with four to six weeks in between each treatment. However, each case is different and this could vary. Does it hurt? Patients that have used the eMatrix have described it as a warm and prickly sensation. Immediately after treatment a red and sunburn appearance and feeling is normal. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling are used to reduce any pain or discomfort. How long does it take to heal? There are mild, moderate and deep treatments depending on the skin type and condition of the skin. The deeper the treatment, the longer the reactions will last. Some common reactions are dryness, peeling, a sunburn feeling and mild to moderate swelling. However, most patients feel completely healed after 7-8 days. When will I see results? Maximum results will be seen six months after all treatments are completed. However, there will be progressive results after each treatment. How long does each treatment take? This varies depending on the area. A full-face treatment takes about 25-30 minutes.
