Event Descriptions
A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Tournament Melee The preliminary rounds of the tournament will consist of randomly seeded four-player tables. The four players with the best record score over the course of the preliminary rounds (the number determined by attendance) will advance to the final table whose winner will be declared the Melee Champion. Joust Players will proceed head-to-head through a number of Swiss-paired preliminary rounds based on attendance. After the preliminaries, we will cut to a top four finals to determine the Joust Champion. The player with the combined best record in both the Joust and the Melee will be declared the Days of Ice and Fire Overall Champion. Be sure to submit your deck list for inspection at least 15 minutes before the start of the first round. For full tournament rules, please visit the AGOT LCG Support Page. A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Hand of the King Play head-to-head in this variant joust format. Choose one character to be your Hand of the King. Victory will depend not only on collecting power, but ensuring your Hands survival. For more information on this alternative format, please visit www.agameofthrones.com and click the Support tab. A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Lannister Civil War Up to four players can contend for mastery of their House in this melee variant. Players all draw from the same deck and battle within their own House for dominance. For this event, House Lannister turns on itself in a pre-constructed deck made available for players to try out. The decklist will also be found in the Days of Ice and Fire event booklet. Rules for Civil War can be found in the Princes of the Sun expansion, and at www.agameofthrones.com under the Support tab. Battles of Westeros: Fleeting Innocents Play an exclusive scenario featuring a preview of the new Brotherhood Without Banners expansion. In this scenario, Beric Dondarrion and his Knights of the Hollow Hill ride out in an attempt to stop Gregor Cleganes burning and pillaging, and rescue the smallfolk caught up in the violence of the game of thrones.
