Transparent, UV-stable and scratch-resistant polyurethane systems for prescious wood coatings in interior automotive applications The new Cellasto damping system (CeoDS) is a further step to improve damping properties of automobiles. New moulded flexible foams for seating, seat back rests or medical applications: the range of the CosyPUR systems reaches from supersoft to viscoelastic foam properties. Sandwich Plate System (SPS) is a new patented and revolutionary technology which replaces conventional stiffened steel plates in maritime and civil structures with a steel-elastomer-steel composite structural laminate providing benefits in performance, cost and safety. Take advantage of the broad BASF plastics portfolio: the combination of thermoplastic foil - polyurethane foam - interior decoration makes the manufacturing of complete car modules (e.g. SMART roof module) possible. The foam core is processed using the new Long-FibreInjection (LFI) technology. The combination of a thermoplastic polyurethane outer sole and a polyurethane foamed inner sole results in a combination of properties: high walking comfort and high abrasion resistance. New surface decoration material for automotive interior applications: using the RIM technology, thin, decorative and flexible polyurethane surface films can be produced and backfoamed in a second processing step.
