Dear President Obama, My neighbors and I have contracted a very large private security firm for the provision

of 24/7 protection, including fulltime onsite guard service. This agreement has been in place for many years and utilizes the service of five different individuals. These are honest, loyal, hard-working citizens who unfortunately, due to the nature of their occupation, are barely paid minimum wage. These are the people who, if my wealth were to be forcibly redistributed, I would want to be primary beneficiaries. When I returned home from work this evening, the Captain of the group of five that provide my service presented a letter from his employer (the security firm with which I have contracted). He had been instructed to deliver a copy to the other guards. Presumably all 90,000 of the firms security officers received a copy as well. The critical portion of the memo is reproduced below:

When the Captain, who served in the military for many years and rarely shows emotion, presented me with this memo, he was clearly concerned and had only one question: What are we (in reference to he, his family, his crew and their families) going to do? So, Im asking you, Mr. President: what do I, as an indirect employer of five individuals struggling to care for their families, suggest they do? They have to make a decision by December 2nd, 2013 Thank you in advance, Just one of many very concerned citizens
