In this process, the project manager, along with the project management team Directs the performance of the planned project activities Manages the various technical and organizational interfaces that exist within the project

a) Approved Corrective Actions Documented directions, authorized directions required to bring expected future project performance into conformance with the project management plan b) Approved Preventive Actions Documented, authorized directions that reduce the probability of negative consequences associated with project risks

c) Approved Defect Repair what to be done Documented identification of a defect in a project component, and request for correction of a product as a result of: a defect found during the quality inspection or An audit process

1.Expert Judgment Expert Judgment that asses inputs needed to direct and manage execution from consultants, stakeholders, other organizational units, and other expertise 2.Project Management Information System An automated system used by the project management team to aid execution of the activities planned in the project management plan

1.Deliverables Any unique and verifiable product, result or capability to perform a service that is identified in the Project Management planning documentation, and must be produced and provided to complete the project

3. Work Performance Information Information on the status of the project activities being performed to accomplish the project work, is routinely collected as part of the project management plan execution.

The process of auditing the quality requirements and the results from quality control measurements to ensure appropriate quality standards and operational definitions are used QA is a Management Function , carried out in the office, assures that a process would meet client needs, Preventive approach to quality

The process of confirming the human resources staff availability and obtaining the team necessary to complete the project. The project manager should effectively negotiate and influence others who are in position to provide required HR for the project Failure to acquire necessary team will affect schedule, budget, risks, and decrease probability of project success Can be influenced through Project Charter

Objectives: Improves the competencies and interaction of team members to enhance project performance Improve skills of team members in order to increase their ability to complete project activities Improve feelings of trust and cohesiveness among team members in order to raise productivity through greater teamwork

Involves: Tracking team member performance Providing feedback Resolving issues Coordinating changes to enhance project performance As a result of this process:
the HR management plan is updated,change requests are submitted, issues are resolved, input is given to organizational performance appraisals, and lessons learned are added to the organization's database

Conduct procurements is the process of obtaining responses, such as bids and proposals, from prospective sellers on how project requirements can be met. Then selecting the seller and awarding a contract. The prospective sellers, normally at no direct cost to the project or buyer, expend most of the actual effort in this process. A short list maybe first prepared based on preliminary proposals, then a weighting scheme could be applied to rank

the sellers for proper selection.

Involves making information available to project stakeholders in a timely manner. It includes: Implementing the communications management plan Responding to unexpected requests for information.

The Close Procurement process supports the Close Project process, since it involves verification that all work and deliverables were acceptable This process also involves administrative activities, such as updating records to reflect final results and archiving such information for future use or close open claims It addresses each contractapplicable to the project or a project phase

The Close Project process involves performing the project closure portion of the project management plan In multi-phase projects, the Close Project process closes out the portion of the project scope and associated activities applicable to a given phase

This process includes Finalizing all activities completed across all Project Management Process Groups to formally close the project or a project phase Transfer the completed or cancelled project as appropriate Establishes the procedures to coordinate activities needed to verify and document the project deliverables Coordinate and interact to formalize acceptance of those deliverables by the customer or sponsor, Investigate and document the reasons for actions taken if a project is terminated before completion
