It is without a doubt that another example can not be shown indicating greater successes than the birth of the Turkish Republic, and ever since then Atatrk's and Turkey's broad and deep reforms undertaken, as well as the confidence of a nation in itself. CULTURE

The People
Turkish people are extremely patriotic. They are proud of their ancestors. The family is the most important social unit. Each person is dependent and loyal to the family. Rural life is still traditional, but in cities women frequently work outside the home (like American women)

Body Language "Yes" is a slight downward nod of the head. "No" is a slight upward nod of the head while making a quick, sucking sound through your two front teeth (like "tsk"). Turkish people generally have a small area of personal space and may stand closer than most foreigners are used to.

Turkish Coffee Recipe

To make Turkish coffee you need

Turkish Coffee

Turkish Coffee Pot; Cezve

Turkish Coffee Cups; Fincan

Pour one coffee cup of cold water for each cup of coffee in the pot Add one teaspoonful of theTurkish coffee per cup If you need to add sugar this is the time to do it Heat the pot as slowly as you can.

When it begins to boil, take the foam away with the spoon and share it to each cup.

Dont forget, if a cup of Turkish coffee doesnt include foam on top of it, it means that coffee isnt cooked successfully and it is a kind of shame for the person who cooks it.

You should serve it with a glass of water and some dessert as Turkish delight or baklava. Generally water is drunk after turkish coffee is drunk.

Be careful when you drink it, dont mix it. The coffee grounds sink to the bottom of the cup and is undrinkable. It is just used to read the coffee.
