MCMASTER KOREAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (MCKSA)

McKSA is the largest Korean club at McMaster University. Our club is composed of students from a variety of different programs and all levels. The goal of our club is to help students adapt to their new university environment and achieve their academic goals. Also, McKSA is a great way, especially for new students, to meet new people in their year and program or even upper year students. In addition, McKSA is well known for its mentoring program. This program was made to help students who may be having a hard time in school because of their lack in English or for any other reason. How the program works is, we assign a mentor to new students entering our school. A mentor is usually someone older, in an upper year of the same program and has already taken the courses that the new student is currently enrolled in. Along with the mentoring program, there are many more events that we hold, which ultimately benefits all the members in McKSA.
