Session Meeting Notes: 1. Mary Thompson resigned from Sunday School Superintendent in order to teach the Christian Beginners Sunday School class. We thank her for her excellent work as superintendent. 2. The motion was made and approved that Karen White take over the position of Sunday School Superintendent. 3. Community Thanksgiving service was discussed. We will be hosting this year due to the fact that the LaGuardo Baptist Church has sold their church and cannot host this year though it is their turn. They will host next year in their new building. Bobby Thompson will take care of the ushers. Evelyn Price is in charge of food. We will need a Vegetarian Turkey to serve to the Lebanon Seventh Day Adventist Church (they bought the LaGuardo Baptist church building and will now become a part of the Community Thanksgiving). We are expecting between 200 and 250 people. We will eat in the Fellowship Hall and Sunday school class rooms from 5:00 to 6:00 and have the service in the sanctuary at 6:00.

Here is some helpful information as you join us in worship today: All who worship here are equals in the sight of God, regardless of race, age, gender, physical disability or religious affiliation. Communion, when celebrated, is open to all who profess Christ as Lord and Savior, whether affiliated with this church or not. Children may partake of Communion as well, if parents approve. A nursery is available during the service; please see a greeter for directions. (This is for infants and children up to 3 years of age.) Handicap-accessible restrooms are located off the narthex (main foyer) and adjacent to the entrance lobby in the Fellowship Hall/Gym. Please complete the tear-off attendance slip attached to the bulletin and drop it in the offering plate so we will have a record of your visit with us today. Thank you for remembering to silence your cell phone during the service. We ask that there be no food or beverages in the sanctuary, please. Pastor Brad leads this service, and opens the doors for teens to start coming at 5pm to hang out, play games, and talk. Pastor Brad says, We love hanging out together and worshiping an awesome God! New Hope invites the men of the church and the surrounding community to a weekly Prayer Breakfast each Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. A devotional is shared over breakfast, and a time of prayer follows before the busy workday begins. In a casual atmosphere men may discuss concerns that stay within the group. A bond between friends develops. This is a meaningful time of fellowship for the men who attend. Visitors are always welcome. Come join us! Stephen Ministry - Got a burden? You dont have to carry that burden alone. You can have a STEPHEN MINISTER who will spend time with you, listen to you, and walk beside you. Ministries/Activities Within Our Church

Community Thanksgiving Service will be at New Hope this year: Sunday Evening November 24. Meal at 5:00 and service at 6:00. New Hope is in charge of all the food. Evelyn will be letting us know what and how much we will need. The Church-Wide Dinner has been cancelled since we now are hosting the community service. Dec 1- First Sunday in Advent - Hanging of the Green at 5:00 pm with finger foods to follow. Dec 15 - Childrens Program 5:00 to 6:00 with Christmas Party 6:00 to 7:00 and refreshments (Santa will be making a visit!). Dec 18 Wednesday evening. Caroling, meet at the church at 5:00 and leave by 5:15. We will run the church van and perhaps rent another as well. Dec 24 - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 6:00 pm. Dec 29 Evening Song Fest at 6:00. Youth Worship on Wednesday Nights @ 6:00 at New Hope - teens (grades 7 12) experience a contemporary and motivated style of worship. We have a
