 Newborn accommodation benefit covers the cost for child who is less than 16 weeks old to stay with the mother while the mother is receiving eligible inpatient treatment.

Chronic conditions coverage

 Mrs Jones experienced anxieties during her pregnancy and is pleased to find the free consultations from AXAs health at hand very helpful! Her calls are handled professionally by midwives and medical information shared are very useful.

 Health at Hand is an award winning service offered free of charge and is available 24/7 by AXA. It is supported by one of the largest electronic medical libraries in Europe and is staffed by registered nurses, midwives, pharmacists & counselors.

 Little Emily was diagnosed with asthma for the first time during her last doctor visit and the doctor puts her on a program which requires medication and frequent doctor visits. After speaking with AXA 24-hour health service team, Mrs Jones is relieved to find that AXA will be covering Emilys asthma conditions as part of the InternationalExclusive benefits.

 If the chronic conditions are developed and diagnosed after your InternationalExclusive becomes effective, the maintenance cost of such conditions will be covered by this policy!

Pre-authorization Pre-existing conditions2

 One day, Mr Lee accidently falls on his hip while walking down from the office and he did not visit the doctor till the next day as the pain became unbearable. The doctor admitted Mr Lee into the hospital immediately and advised him that a surgery is required for his hip fracture injury. Mr Lee consults AXA 24-hour health service team on his situation and requests AXA to handle the S$4,000 deposit as well as hospital bill. AXA takes over the case with the doctor and hospital bill while Mr Lee only focuses on his surgery and recovery. Since the hospital is on AXA network hospital, Mr Lee simply signs the paper and no cash payment is required upon checking out.

 Pre-authorization allows you to visit your doctor or specialist without worrying about the consultation charge. InternationalExclusive pays for the bill directly without any hassles.

Cost of medical care to address preexisting conditions2 is covered by InternationalExclusive given that the condition is declared upon application and the member is already into the membership for 270 consecutive days or above. The limit increases further upon completion of two consecutive years of membership!

After a full day museum tour, Mrs Lee wakes up with a sharp pain in her knee and immediately realized her old friend arthritis is coming back to haunt her again. International Emergency medical assistance

With the help of AXAs international emergency medical assistance, AXA arranged transportation for Mrs Lee to get to the nearest hospital for immediate medical treatment. If you choose to seek treatment at a non-network hospital for any reason, please notify us prior to the commencement of treatment and we will do our best to sort out the billing arrangement with your preferred hospital.

In fact, we provide coverage for declared pre-existing conditions2 automatically upon completion of 270 days of consecutive membership with InternationalExclusive. We will even increase the coverage if your membership stays with us for two consecutive years and beyond. We understand treatment for chronic conditions is not an easy journey for anyone. Overseas evacuation and repatriation service is one of the core benefits we offer in all our InternationalExclusive plans and this is available anywhere in the world, 24/7 throughout the year. In case of an emergency and if, in the opinion of an appointed doctor, the local in-patient treatment is not made available promptly, we will arrange to move the patient to the nearest appropriate facility available. This facility could be located in another country, your country of residence or even your home country. We will do our best to assist you in seeking the most appropriate treatment in case of emergency anywhere in the world. In the unfortunate event of death, we will arrange and pay for the cost of bringing the deceaseds body back to the principle country of residence or home country.
