Work Experience
Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Mobile Medical Response, Inc., Saginaw County, MI (October 2012 Present). Provide transport and exceptional care of the medically ill and traumatically injured patients in emergency as well as non-emergency situations. Conduct careful examinations of each patient to identify injury or illness. Assist other medically trained individuals while providing prompt and efficient care, and stabilization of patient conditions for duration of contact. Use basic tools and/or procedures to gain access to patients requiring extrication while controlling the scene to minimize further injuries or danger to myself and others. Communicate with other emergency services and medical controls. Administer pre-hospital care within the limits of current licensure in accordance with approved protocols. Protect confidential information in accordance with HIPPA. Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Genesee County EMS (June 2011 - September 2012) Worked as a loyal employee until Genesee County EMS merged with another company leaving myself and co-workers unemployed. As an EMT-B I provided prompt and efficient care and transport to injured and ill patients while following the constraints of current licensure and Genesee County protocols.

Hurley Hospital Emergency Department Volunteer, Flint, MI (2010). Assisted emergency department staff with evaluation and care of injured or ill patients while gaining knowledge in emergency care as well as the field of health care. Kairos Student Leader, Powers Catholic High School, Flint, MI (Winter 2010). Kairos is a religious retreat available to Junior and Senior students. The role of a student leader includes the formation and presentation of a talk. A talk is a speech that each leader presents to the participants of Kairos and adult leaders on a specific topic regarding personal experiences and

hardship. The topic of my presentation was Ideals and Values where I discussed my personal values and ideals and how they have been challenged through hard times. Habitat for Humanity Volunteer, Flint, MI (2010) Assisted Habitat for Humanity staff in building two new homes for families in need.
