Leverage funding for climate related city projects through grants, awards, and competitions. Present technical reports to the Community Sustainability Commission and the public. Make public presentations regarding water conservation and use of tertiary treated recycled water. Use ArcMap GIS to map irrigated landscapes throughout the city. Train new employees in all aspects of the water conservation program and ArcMap GIS. November 2010- July 2011: Sonoma County Water Agency Santa Rosa, CA Position: Water Education Intern (Part Time) Conducted hour long presentations for elementary students on the benefits of water conservation. Guided educational hikes at a Sonoma County preserve to promote the benefits of conservation of natural resources.
