Leverage funding for climate related city projects through grants, awards, and competitions. Present technical reports to the Community Sustainability Commission and the public. Collaborate with the Climate Action Plan Coordinator to update Benicia's Climate Action Plan. Write detailed reports, conduct GHG emissions inventories and use ICLEI's CACP 2009 software. Monitored effects of control efforts on Hydrilla and other aquatic plants. August 2010- June 2013: City of Santa Rosa Water Use Efficiency Santa Rosa, CA Position: Water- Use Efficiency Intern (Full Time / Part Time) Conduct water-use efficiency audits of residential and commercial properties. Make public presentations regarding water conservation and use of tertiary treated recycled water. Use ArcMap GIS to map irrigated landscapes throughout the city. Train new employees in all aspects of the water conservation program and ArcMap GIS. November 2010- July 2011: Sonoma County Water Agency Santa Rosa, CA Position: Water Education Intern (Part Time) Conducted hour long presentations for elementary students on the benefits of water conservation. Guided educational hikes at a Sonoma County preserve to promote the benefits of conservation of natural resources.
