7. NEW BUSINESS 7.a. 7.b. Discussion/Action: Approve/Deny to Certify the First Interim Budget for Mupu Elementary School District - 2013-2014. Discussion/Action: Change Principal Assignment to .88 FullTime Equivalent and Teaching Assignment to .12 FullTime Equivalent Effective 1/1/14. Net increase in Cost: $401.59 As we get closer to the transition of the Principal to Superintendent/Principal, we feel that we need more time on a daily basis to review and learn procedures and responsibilities. The Principal is spending all of her administrative time attending to the administration of the school. We need to start focusing on the administration of the district.

7.c. Discussion/Action: Change .68 5th/6th Teaching Position to 1.00 Full Time Equivalent Effective 1/1/14. Net increase in Cost: $13,064.49 If the principal becomes .88 FTE, we need to increase the current part time 5th/6th teacher to full time. 7.d. Discussion/Action: Approve/Deny Special Education Agreement with AAS Charters AAS Charters have a pending application with a Statewide SELPA. However, since the approval process takes a year, by default, AAS falls under Mupus authority for special education purposes. Mupu is a member of the Ventura County SELPA. The SELPA requires this agreement. Discussion/Action: Approve/Deny Job Description of Office Clerk Position: Board approved adding an Office Clerk Position at the October 16, 2013 board meeting. This is the job description. Discussion/Action: Approve/Deny Resolution 13-14-04 and Report: Annual Accounting and Five Year Accounting of Development Fes for Fiscal Year 201213 in the Developer Fee Fund(s) as Per GC 66001(D) Discussion/Action: Approve/Deny Resignation/Retirement of Teacher, Effective 6/18/14. Information/Discussion: Proposition 39 California Clean Energy Jobs Act Application District applied for and was approved for this grant/entitlement. District will receive $100,000, with up to $51,172 of entitlement allowed for Energy Planning Funds. District will contract with an outside vendor to conduct energy audits and Prop 39 Assistance. Districts HVAC systems are aging, so this is one appropriate and possible use of funds.
