Numerical Data for PZT-5A and PZT-5H Piezoceramics

PZT-5A and PZT-5H piezoceramics are the most commonly used engineering piezoceramics. Their typical three-dimensional piezoelastic properties can be found on the Web [1] or in the literature [2] as given in Table E.1. In addition to these data, the mass densities of PZT-5A and PZT-5H are reported [1,2] as 7750 and 7500 kg/m3 , respectively. The permittivity components at constant stress are given in Table T T E.1 in the form of constant-stress dielectric constants (11 /0 , 33 /0 ) where the permittivity of free space is 0 = 8.854 pF/m [3]. The reduced constants for the EulerBernoulli and Rayleigh beam theories are obtained using Equations (A.11) as listed in Table E.2 whereas those for the Timoshenko beam theory are obtained from Equations (A.17) as in Table E.3. The reduced constants for the Kirchhoff plate theory are listed in Table E.4 (based on Equations (A.24)(A.28)).
