Synopsis: Results of Analysis of United Airlines (UAL) passenger
records for flights scheduled for 9/11/01

Details: A review of UAL's computerized records for flights
scheduled for 9/11/01 disclosed approximately 239,000 passengers
were scheduled to fly on UAL and UAL associated flights that day.
A manual review of these names disclosed in excess of a 1000
names which were similar to the names of the hijackers.
These records were then analyzed for flight information
for the names identified for further investigation. The results
of this analysis have been documented on the attached spread
sheets. The first spread sheet sorts the passengers
alphabetically by name. The second spread sheet sorts the
passengers by flight.
The analysis of UAL passenger records for flights on
9/11/01 disclosed that passengers had also booked flights
scheduled for before and after 9/11/01. Whereas this information
may have investigative value, these flights are reflected on the
enclosed spread sheets as well.

FBI Chicago will place these spread sheets on the FBI's

Intranet system to allow access by field offices requiring this
information for further investigation and analysis.

The UAL computerized records contain Passenger Name

Records (PNR's) for each passenger on 9/11/01. These PNR's
contain specific information about the passengers including but
not limited to: credit card numbers, addresses, and phone
numbers. The information obtained from UAL's PNR's is stored in
an ASCI text format. As such, obtaining the information from a
passenger's PNR is difficult because specific passenger
information is mixed in with UAL's other text information.
However, passenger information can be located if one looks in the
proper field.
Chicago was able to extract the PNR's for the 1100 names
on the spread sheet from UAL's computerized data base. Whereas a
printed version of the PNR's for these 1100 names would be well
in excess of 25,000 pages of paper, Chicago is maintaining the
PNR's for the 1100 names on a compact disc in a computerized
format. If necessary Chicago can provide a printed copy of a PNR
for a specific name on the spread sheet upon request, however.

If necessary, Chicago can also search the entire PNR data

base of 239,000 passengers for a specific name, address,
telephone number, or credit card number upon request.

Synopsis: The Saudi Embassy has contracted for a Boeing 727 jet
aircraft to traverse the United States picking up various Saudi
students for expeditious departure from the United States. This
EC is to set leads for receiving offices along the route of
flight to meet and confirm passengers along the route of flight
to avcid another airborne incident.

Details: Ryan Air Inc. located in Cincinnati Ohio has been

contracted by "The Air Group" Inc. located in Elmwood Park, NJ
07407 to pick up 24 Saudi students associated with the Embassy in
Washington, D.C. This flight is to originate in St. Louis MO on
September 18, 2001 and arrive in Los Angeles (KLAX) at 12:30 pm
(PST) . This flight is then to depart at 9:00 am on September 19,
2001 after picking up one student.

The flight is scheduled to arrive at Orlando Executive

airport (KORL) at 4:12 pm (EST) on September 19, 2001. At
Orlando two students are to be picked up.

The flight is to depart at 6 : 00pm (EST) and arrive at

Dulles (KIAD) in Reston Virginia at 7: 48PM (EST). Seven students

The flight departs Dulles at 9:30PM (EST) arriving

Boston Logan International (KBOS) at 10:24 PM (EST). Fourteen
students are expected to be picked up in Boston. The flight
departs Boston for Gander, NF (CYQX) at 12:30 AM on September 20,
2001 and then on to Keflavik Iceland and Paris.
The attached Itinerary is provided for use by agents
verifying passengers on board the chartered aircraft. This is
not a regular airline schedule and is subject to change. Contact
should be made with the captain at all stops to verify any
changes regarding, passengers, itinerary or destinations. Any
changes in the enclosed items should be verified with the charter
company "The Air Group, Inc." at 800-596-2262 POC Scott Galdi.
All passengers have been checked through Rapid Start with
negative results. Indices had multiple hits under various
violations. Recieving offices to check indices for passengers
departing from their airport.
