Coil-coating systems
For external applications: PLADUR, SP (lacquer system) Galvanized steel coil with dual layer oven cured polyester lacquer on the exposed face, nominal coating thickness 25 m; reverse side with protective layer (RSL). PLADUR, PVDF (lacquer system) Galvanized steel coil with dual layer oven cured polyvinylidene difluoride lacquer on the exposed face, nominal coating thickness: 25 m; reverse side with protective layer (RSL). These systems, along with our protective coatings, correspond to corrosion protection class III as per DIN 55928-8. For internal applications: PLADUR, DU (lacquer system) Galvanized steel coil with oven cured polyester lacquer on the exposed face, nominal coating thickness 12 m; reverse side with protective layer (RSL). Low corrosion resistance, only recommended for use in dry interiors. Due to the thin nominal coating thickness, a uniform colour shade cannot be guaranteed, not even for the sheets of a single batch. This system, along with our protective coatings, correspondes to corrosion protection class II as per DIN 55928-8.

Protective coating on the reverse side (RSL) Coil-coated reverse side, coating system PLADUR with a nominal layer thickness of approx. 10 m. Colour similar to grey white. Due to the thin nominal coating thickness, a uniform olour shade cannot be guaranteed). When PLADUR is combined with DU/RSL, the coating system and the colour will be determined by our works (combination may vary within one order).

Special coatings
ems-isolier FS 3000 is a highly durable dual layer oven cured food safe lacquer with a nominal coating thickness of 25 m. Certified to be food safe, being suitable for use in food processing environments under European and German regulations. LMF is a food safe laminate with a nominal film thickness of 150 m. It is only suitable for internal applications. Wrinkle is a special coating with a low gloss grade for exacting demands for an aesthetic colour appearance. The coating does not stain easily and can be readily cleaned. PLADUR Agro 3 is a special coating in RAL 9002 for use in agricultural applications with highly contaminated atmospheres.

The colours
Colours in their true sense offer building owners, architects and planners fantastic possibilities of designing building exteriors to meet exacting asthetic demands. The colours specified herein (e.g. 1002) are similar to RAL. The colour prints are only representational and may deviate from the original colours. The original colour samples which are available on request are definitive. Other colours in SP and PVDF coating systems are available on request (min. order quantity: 600 m). The colour groups (CG I, II and III) are allocated to the various colours. For further information on brightness values, please see www.thyssenkrupp-bausysteme.com. For the standard delivery range a large choice, classified according to products, coatings and colours, is kept in stock. Please consult us for the lead times of your preferred selection of colours.
