Who Are We?

Team 2 (T2) is a consulting firm working on behalf of the North Texas Food Bank in securing future donations for the organization. Our goal is to work with the community and local businesses to relieve the growing hunger epidemic that many cities are facing.

The Problem
Over 50 million Americans faced hunger in 2011, extending to every state. Food insecurity has been tracked by the United States Department of Agriculture for the past 15 years with staggering results.

16 million children go hungry every year. Of

all areas affected, states in the southern are particularly notable.

North Texas Perspective

What Does This Mean?

Texas ranks 11th in food insecurity for children In 2011, there were over 4.5 million people who were food insecure The food insecurity rate in Texas is 18.5% from 2009-2011, higher than 44 other states ("Texas hunger initiative," 2011)
