Question Sir, I was reading your profile and read the definition of brahmacharya. You've said 3 things: One who has: 1. completely surrendered to Brahman, 2. overcome the ego, and 3. has realized himself to be a tool of the Almighty. Please explain about 1st and 2nd. According to Wikipedia, Brahman means "universal Spirit". Now to surrender to the universal spirit, I must know what the universal spirit wants me to do, but how to know that?

Answer Question: Sir, I was reading your profile and read the definition of brahmacharya. You've said 3 things. One who has: 1. 1. One completely surrenders to the Brahman, overcomes the Ego and realizes himself to be a tool of the Almighty after Kaivalya (self-realization leading to liberation). Such an enlightened being is the complete, real Brahmachari, for he does not have the concept of a separate self. All others in the path are aspiring Brahmachari-s who are striving to reach that supreme state. 2. Such an enlightened being constantly lives in the Brahman itself and considers himself no different. This world which is an image akin to that in a dream no longer exists for him, though he sees it just like any of us. Just as a man who has woken up from a dream has realized the falsity of the dream characters and firmly exists in his state of wakeful reality, the enlightened sage rests firm on the bedrock of the absolute truth called Brahman, having irreversably woken up from the dream called Samsara (dualistic world of Maya). Upon reaching this state, his concept of a separate self vanishes. Everything becomes the one and only Brahman (Sarvam Khalvidam Brahman). This is the meaning of overcoming the individual Ego. Just as a chisel in the hands of a sculptor is an extension tool, such a sage has fully realized himself as the extension of the Almighty. 3. Follow a life of Yoga & unbroken Brahmacharya with God meditation for a few years as described. You will then slowly start getting an idea of what that great Lord intends for you. May that Supreme being grant us knowledge of the absolute truth. (That Supreme being is the absolute truth)

Experience
The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which refers to union. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidy' is the eternal dissolution of the individual 'Aham' (Ego) into the Atman (self) that is the Lord for 'Mukti' (liberation) Mere indulgence in 'sana' or physical postures is not Yoga. sana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. The eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, sana, Prnyma, Pratyhra, Dhrana, Dhyna and Samdhi are the means to Yoga. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':-"Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "One who has completely surrendered to Brahman, overcome the Ego, and has realized himself to be a tool of the Almighty." Education/Credentials Bachelors degree in Engineering.
