Universal Rule of Transits in Astrology: Events materialize, irrespective of dasa period, for strong Natal Aspects in your chart, whenever slow moving transiting planets mutually aspect each other in heavens during transit and at the same time when they trigger the natal aspect by conjunction/opposition/square/trine/sextile. The natal planetary aspects have to resonate during the transit, provided that transiting planets are forming mutual aspects (outcome depends on hard or soft aspects). This universal rule is applicable to all branches of astrology. This rule is helpful in finding the peak of a life time event. You are encouraged to apply this rule in your chart for the sake of curiosity. This principle is already extended to star level in Krishnamurthi Paddhati. o Important Paradigm 1. Sub lord of Key house should signify at least one house from the house groups of the event, if it does not then the outcome of the event is almost negative. Check the starlord and sublord of cuspal-sublord, if starlord is negating an event but sublord is supportive, we can still conclude that the event is promised but the outcome will be mediocre for event group. Proper application of this fundamental rule gives insight into all possible outcomes(positive, negative, mixed) of an event th 2. One may have a powerful 5 house but if RULE 1 fails, then a satisfactory outcome cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, its imperative that your sub lords are ACCURATE. 3. A planet in Vimshotari dasa system gives the result of its star lord. Vimshotari Dasa Period of joint significations of house GROUPS will give the outcome of an event, provided that the transits ALSO agree th 4. A planet located 6/8/12 house from its Mooltrikona sign may not give optimal result. 5. An unfavorable planet if placed in a favorable CUSPAL STAR then such planet may provide good results even though it may not be signifying a favorable outcome based upon its star/sub lord 6. Karaka is a potent significator of an event 7. A planet is strong if its star is strong, and still stronger if sub lord is also strong and in that it fully supports the star lord( strong means NO planet in its star or planet in its own star ) 8. A planet is considered benefic for an event GROUP if its NOT connected to 6/8/12th houses( with respect to key house for event group) and its sublord is fully supporting the event group o Ordering the List of Potent Planets for an Event 1. If a significator is not a starlord of any planet, then planets in such a sub are the strongest 2. Keep planet as a potent significator if there is no planet in the star of cuspal sublords of event group or if a planet is in its own star 3. Sub lord of all key cusps(or planets in starlord of cuspal sub), if one of the significators, then it's a potent significator 4. A planet within 3 20' of a cusp is a very strong si gnificator of the house 5. Keep planets which are common in STRONG ruling planets at the time of judgment 6. Sub lord of each significator planet must point to at least one positive house for the event, otherwise drop the planet from list of significators 7. Finally remove planets which are significators of NEGATING houses of an event 8. If you still have too many significators then drop the planets which fall in weakest sub of event o Horary 1- Generate a horary chart of the moment based upon your preferred method 2- Transit of MOON should exactly reflect the nature of question, if not then the query may not be to the point. This rule needs to be analyzed in detail carefully before proceeding further 3- Position of Moon, ASC and 11th house are the key houses that lead to a preliminary indication to a possible outcome of a query
4- Event timing is governed by Earliest( Movable signs) , Medium( Fixed signs) and Late( Common signs ) 5- Retrograde planets dont offer results so there will be delay till the time the planet becomes direct, if sub lord is also retrograde than drop the planet 6- Look for aspect by Saturn, it will delays the events till the time other planets are significators 7- Finally, tally the event by assessing the transit of MO/SU/ASC/JU over the significations 8- Connection of significance to ASC or ASC lord is very important rule in transit, in that the rising degree of cusp and transit degree of planets should approximately match, if astrological birth time is correct by construction o Transits 1. ASC should represent one of the DBA lords in transit and ASC/SU/MO should be transiting the key stars or subs of an event. The significators should be found transiting in each others sign & star/sub, or in their own zodiac signs, or in the sign/star of karaka of an event 2. Most likely SU, MO, VE, ME should be transiting in the STAR lord of Significators and RA, KE, SA, JU should be in the SUB of Significators 3. For daily transit observation it is sufficient to check when the Antara dasa lord and moon transits in the favorable star of the relevant cusp, provided that dasa lord is favorably placed in transit 4. Lord of ASC and its interconnection with dasa/antar significators should be finally used to analyze the complete outcome of an event during transit. The rising degree of cusp is very important here. o Experiment with D9 chart( Aid in Selecting Potent significators of an event in traditional system ) 1- Keep planets which are present in the D9 chart for the D1 house grouping, if there is no planet then pick the ruler of house in D9 2- If you still have more than 3/4 planets then drop the planets placed in 12/8/6/3 houses of D9 chart, because these houses do not gel with D9 theme. These unfortunate houses in D9 are used for predicting death and other obstructions. o Gem Therapy( Aid in Selecting Gems if you believe in Gem Therapy, we personally don't suggest Gem Therapy ) 1- Only for planets which are lords of TRINES and well placed. Some careful analysis of star/sub lords have to be done 2- Exceptional cases for a particular mahadasa have to be analyzed separately 3- Buy high quality original gemstones, duplicates not advised

The definition of ruling planet stems from the key idea in Krishnamurthi Paddhati Planets at the time of desire and fructifications are the same. Ruling planets (RPs) help is sought in a Natal chart OR in a Horary chart OR in Birth time correction, especially for complex charts where there is too much inter planetary interaction. The closest scientific connection comes from the work of Carl Gustav Jung a Swiss psychoanalyst in his work of synchronicity. Events have meaningful coincidence without any relation to causality. The principle is governed by collective unconscious which is common to mankind. Every conscious moment is a part of free will and much of our unconscious mind may be possibly predisposed to destiny. The strength of the ruling planets is in the following order (ASC Star lord is the strongest): 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. o ASC star Lord ASC Sign Lord Moon Star lord Moon sing Lord Day lord
RPs application to Natal Chart: 1. Significators for event group should match with the most powerful ruling planets 2. Help from Ruling Planets may be sought to narrow down (to 3 or 4) the best and the most powerful significators from a set of many possible weak significators for the purpose of selecting accurate Vimshotari dasa/antar/pritiyantar planets. 3. The best practical approach is to pick the most powerful 3 or 4 ruling planets whose th sublords are strong (Neither retrograde nor pointing to 6/8/12 negating houses from the house of focus in question) and at the same time belong to the list of potent significators of an event group
RPs application to Birth Time Correction: 1. Erect a chart for approximate birth time provided by the native 2. Select an Ascendant from the list of RPs such that it makes some sense 3. Simply move ascendant such that ALL RPs match with the ASC sign, ASC star, ASC Sub, ASC subsub
RPs application to Horary Chart 1. Note Down the time of Query and exact Degree of Ascendant and call it a REFERENCE POINT 2. REFERENCE POINT is either of the following: i. ASCENDANT if the event timeframe is within 24-hours OR ii. MOON if the event timeframe is within a MONTH OR iii. SUN if the event timeframe is within a YEAR 3. Generate a horary chart by one of the following methods or any of your preferred methods: i. Erect a natal chart whenever one desires OR ii. Use the horary number given by a person to get the exact ASC by some table look up method OR iii. Use the email time to generate the chart if the question was posed through email 4. Now MOVE REFRENCE POINT forward till the time it fully points to ALL the Ruling Planets at stellar level in any logical order based upon experience. This is the time when event materializes with respect to the selected REFERENCE POINT
o How does a Daily transit of MO work when dasa/antar/pratyantar of a PLANET is not operational
Focus of the day should be ONLY the Star where MO is transiting When MO transits in a star say Saturn (of course duration is one day, because MO traverses a star each day), Saturn will get activated for that day The houses Saturn rules in natal chart will be the results of the day Next day Moon will be in another star and apply the star to natal chart Incorporate ASC transit for pinpointing the event The outcome of these transits is positive if the sublords of transiting planets are benefic( in KP Sense) i.e. sublord should be supportive of the starlord as applied to natal chart
