No (Description of Information sought (upto 500 characters) * Description of Information Sought Wildlife Crime Control Bureau is a statutory multidisciplinary body established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Environment and Forests Under RTI Act, 2005 following information required: 1.Complete list of persons authorized as Special Officer, Identity cards issued by the WCCB but now withdrawn all ID cards issued by WCCB, list of applications were in Que pending for issuance of Identity cards. 2. Noting portion along with the copies of communication received and made out by the WCCB about Special Officer Identity cards related matters. 3. Garhwali Mess has many wild animal trophies, which are displayed violating the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and ignoring the Advisory issued by WCCB Display of wildlife items in

commercial premises. Please supply me the communication received and made out by the WCCB for legal action along with the present status of the wild animal trophies, ownership certificates copies of all trophies may kindly also be supplied along with the declaration of the owners of the trophies. 4. Khadi and Village Industries Commission KVIC have modified its negative list after WCCB directions, please supply me the copies of all communication received and made out by the WCCB along with the noting portions. 5. Animal abusers registry is essential, WCCB has issued Advisories on Profiles of wildlife criminals and Intimation of arrest and conviction of wildlife criminals to the concerned police stations. Please supply me the complete list prepared by all concerned, to comply with the Advisories issued by WCCB. 6. Wild animal specimens advisory issued by WCCB Illegal use of wild animals in laboratories/ museums of schools/colleges, please supply me the complete list of matters reported of wild animal specimens. 7. Illegal hiring of Common Langurs for the security of buildings advisory was issued by the WCCB, please supply me the complete list of matter reported and action taken against offenders along with the present status of animal rescued. 8. One leopard was killed in Khedi Gujran of Faridabad, one leopard was traped in Bhondsi area of Gurgaon, one was killed in Karnal, one was killed in Jind, two were killed in Mewat region and now one trapped in Yamunanagar. Police and wildlife officials failed to perform their official duties. Please supply me the complete list of poaching, hunting, traping, capturing and accidental death cases of wild animals all around in India. 9. Please supply me the total numbers of wild animal species in India, area wise numbers of wild animals species wise.
The United Nation affiliated OIPA - Indian People for Animals Programme Director Sukanya Kadyan and Media Adviser Abhishek Kadyan added following more points: 1. Advisory issued by WCCB on the training, awareness about wildlife crime and legislation's concerned amongst Enforcement agencies but it was totally ignored by the field functionaries. 2. Ivory, wild animal skin, bones etc trophies are kept with the Enforcement agencies as case property, it shall not be valued, priced as per advisory of WCCB but it must be destroyed under the supervision of the higher Authorities, hence please direct all concerned Authorities to destroy their wild animals trophies stock at once.
