SickLeave: Isaccruedattherateof13daysayear,regardlessofyearsofservice.Besuretosaveas muchsickleaveasyoucan youneverknowwhenyouwillneedit.Ifyouuseallyour sickleaveandstillhavetomisswork,yourtimeoffwillbedeductedfromyourannual leave.Ifyourunoutofbothsickandannualleave,youwillhavetotakeleavewithout pay(LWOP).IfyoumakeacareerwithAAFESandeventuallyretire,yoursickleave hoursarecreditedasservicetimeandwillincreaseyourretirementpay.
