Dear Family and Friends, Three years ago I had the opportunity to spend one year as a student missionary

in Van, Turkey (2010-2011). In Van, I was able to meet and minister to the Kurdish people and made many friends along the way. Although it has been over two years since I have returned from the field, God has allowed for my relationships to continue on and even today I am in contact with many of my Kurdish friends. Last summer in 2012 I had the opportunity to return to Turkey and visit 6 of my closest friends (Ilham, Mesut, Ibo, Mecit, Ergun, and Nedim) for two weeks to encourage and minister to them by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was a surreal experience to be reunited with these souls and I was convicted at that time of the continuous calling I have received to be a minister of the Gospel to them. By the grace of God, I have received the opportunity to go back to Turkey for two weeks and meet with these friends once again. In just a couple weeks, I will be returning to the field with my teammate, Paul, with the purpose to share the Gospel and the love of Christ to our friends who have yet to receive Jesus and encourage a brother who we led to Christ over three years ago! Our hope is to see our friends fully receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be set free from the bondage of sin and death! We believe that only the Gospel has true power to save and anticipate for salvation this winter in Turkey. Like any ministry of the Lord, I cannot do this alone. I believe that God works through the prayers of the saints and ask that you would partner with Paul and me for the salvation of our Kurdish friends and for the whole Kurdish people. When we pray and obey, our God moves and our only desire is that He would reveal himself to the Kurds that they would receive complete restoration and revival through the Gospel power. Please pray for with us: (1) That the Lord would truly reveal himself and the power of His love and Gospel to our friends. We have shared the Gospel many times to them yet they have not received Him. We, as ministers, only have access to theirs ears but we believe that Holy Spirit has access to their hearts. Pray that they would be open to Gospel and receive Him. (2) That our brother Ilham, who received Christ three years ago would be encouraged to continue to live faithfully for Christ. Recently, he has been struggling because of the pressure of school and relationships. Please pray that he would be restored again to live boldly for Christ. (3) That God would allow for Paul and I to be bold for the sake of the Gospel. We are not ashamed of this Gospel for it is the power to save! May we preach the Gospel with power and also love our friends with the love of Christ. May we be used 100% for the sake of the ministry of the Lord. (4) That God would continue to minister to the Kurdish people as a whole. We truly desire to see this whole people group return back to Jesus. The Kurds are a broken people with a lot of hurt because of a history of betrayal and war. Only the Gospel can completely restore this brokenness. Let us declare

complete restoration in the name of Jesus Christ and revival through the power of the Gospel. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider being a part of this mission for this winter!
