As 2013 comes to a close, take a moment to look back at the fun and fraternalism
enjoyed throughout the year at the West Seattle Eagles.

Pictured below are some of the amazing volunteers who helped make Thanksgiving special for almost one hundred and seventy people. Now in its fifth year, this made from scratch Thanksgiving feast, takes an army of dedicated volunteers to feed our members and those in our community. The spirit of Thanksgiving shared by volunteers and guests alike, truly demonstrates we arePeople Helping People.

Worthy Presidents Message

Greeting Aerie Brothers and Sisters, DECEMBER HAS ARRIVED!! Please allow me to wish you all the most sincerest of Happy Holidays! AS I look forward to the 21st of December - the shortest day of the year. At that point, I begin to think that Spring is just around the corner. Have you responded for the children's Christmas party? I hope so - as Santa has great deal of toys that need to be built and as much time as we can afford Santa is GREATLY appreciated. The enrollment form is due no later than 12/1. If you haven't turned it in yet, do it NOW. Linda and I will look forward to seeing you and the little ones at the Christmas party on the 14th at 1:00 pm!

King of Hearts is still going and growing. I must remind you to PLEASE bring your Aerie/Auxillary Official Receipt, as it is required should you win.
Linda and I have very much enjoyed hosting those of you who have attended our Monday Night Football dinners and we have raised a great deal of money for our respective charities. West Seattle Food Bank and The Lungevity Foundation appreciate your generosity. Linda and I will be hosting our final MNF dinner on the 2nd, and look forward to seeing those of you who haven't made it yet to see the 'Hawks crush the puny Saints-we begin service at 5:30. December brings a number of events. We have the aforementioned Kids' Christmas Party on the 14th, but we have the Top Gun dart tournament on the 7th we will also be having the PWP Tom and Jerry party on the 12th, and the fantastic Obie's Steak on the 13th. We must NOT forget the New Years Eve party. Tickets (available in the lounge) at $15 is a fantastic bargin, and should be procured immediately! Speaking of the future, it is never too early to plan for the PWP Crab Feed (1/18) all the crab you can eat and all the beer you can drink for $30 (what a bargin!) tickets available now, in the lounge. I plan on attending and I'm allergic to crab!

With school, family, the holidays and all of life's other commitments, it may be hard to find the time to invest yourself in the betterment of our beloved club. I ask that you take an evening a month and come to a meeting, we meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30. Make the investment of your time your gift to the Aerie or Auxillary, without leadership we are a rudderless vessel. I, and our other oficers. look forward to your attendance.

Yours in Brotherhood, Zane Fitterer Worthy President

This years Heritage Pumpkin Pie Project was once again a great success!!! The goal of fifty 10" pies was met. Last year the goal was met by help of the public, this year 100 percent was thru the support of our West Seattle Eagles members. I am so impressed and grateful. The Roller Girls of HTripP included Clarice Austin (dough in chief), Gayle Holmes, Sandy Farin and Suzie Klein. Thank you!! Also, thank you to our fine bar staff for their sales support. -Diane Niemi /Chairperson Golden Eagle Alzheimer's/Dementia Fund
