Is 5VDC present at pin 1 of P806 when the unit is plugged in?

No

Are any problem LED indications exhibited after the power button is pressed?

Yes

Suspect the main power supply, then the Low B supply circuit. Suspect the main power supply circuit. Use the LED blink chart to help locate the problem. Suspect the Low B supply circuit.

Suspect the system control (SYSCON) circuit.

Suspect the Seine (Digital) module.

Suspect the AV tuning module. This can be confirmed by using the wiring interconnect diagram and checking the Y, Cb, Cr signals at plug CN71. They will be missing or distorted.

If it is available , try the CCF inverter. If this does not help, replace the LCD display. ***

Is 3.3 VDC present at pin 18 of P811 shortly after the unit is turned on?

Using the power distribution diagram, are the voltages normal at P811?

YES

Suspect the Low B module. Suspect the digital module. This can be confirmed by using the wiring interconnect diagram and an oscilloscope and checking the right and left audio signals at pins 10 and 11 of CN70. They will be missing or distorted.

YES

Using an oscilloscope, are the selected audio signals at pins 14 and 15 of CN70 normal?

NO

Suspect the AV/Tuner module.
