To feel what the band feels meaning mutual understanding between us and the audience. We also To Betsy,Bratmobile,Huggybear Question 5: Do you guyes feel that certain women today in the scene are stigmatizing all women unfavorably by attending the shows to gain "popularity points" or by attending the shows as "beauty pageant contestants"? FUCK YES!! To many "nancyspungens" and "fashion punks"! Basically alot of conformity in the scene.Wanna be pin-up girls! Basically they destroy the original meaning or ethos of punk rock culture! Question 6: What is the future of feminism today and how do you guys see yourselves within the tradition of "riot-girlism"! Thiers a new strand of feminism in Europe known as FEMEN its based in France but it is internationally known! They lobby against the demonization of the female human form and promote atheism as well! We also believe that there are false pre-conceptions on feminism and that their is no individual stance on the subject! We started in high school originally by the name The Bulemicks. We spent time looking for musicians a few years to find the right people. Question 2: What is your current stance on the valley scene today? We think it sucks!! haha to overrated. To many young people in the scene for the wrong reasons. Well we started in h.s. originally as the Hormones haha and as Middle Class Beaners! but we stuck with M.C.M At 1st the line up was chaotic! Question 2: Why did you dudes choose that name and does it reflect an idea or stance! Yeah it does we feel that people now and days forget thier origins. Basically where they come from and whatnot...we all came from a middle-class upbringing so yeah we reflect that ideal! Question 3: Where is your FB primarily located at? The 818 the valley basically but we have fans in LA as well so were scattered everywhere! Question 4: How did your guys "progressive approach" to your punk come about! It came naturally. Ivan is into experimental music and as for all of us we all have our own

unique style that blends well as a whole! Question 5: Any recordings,e.p's or l.p's kids should expect soming soon!

Our guitarist, Danny, met with the vocalist for the goons to buy shirts off of him. They were conversating and Danny mentioned that him and his friend (our drummer, Snake) wanted to

Yeah BLEED 4 SPEED! hahaha it actually never came about but eventually haha but yeah we gotta start a band. Later on The goons vocalist, OrbieCambero, posted on his band page, saying if re-record certain songs for it but soon itll be out! Question 6: What is yourguyest current stance on the valley scene and what is your guyes intent within the scene! The valley has changed and grown! Somewhat repetitive but thier are some good bands. We feel though that it needs to branchout and resort to a "grassroots" level! (Conclusion of interview) Any final statments for the valley you wanna say! Yeah were actually probably wanna the 1st bands in valley punk history to have an ORGY!! with another band!! hahahawont disclose details but yeah thats the wonderful world of PUNK ROCK for you!' Interview w// Nose //Hardcore and post punk band from Reseda Founded:2013 Question 1: how did nose come about? Met in high school.we liked the same music and then jammed for many many months after that. started writing our own stuff and decided to play shows. we went through at least 2 names until our drummer brought NOSE. Question 2: how did your guyes sound come about you dudes got a hardcore sound but a mellow post punk sound as well? We like a very WIDE range of music, and are not tied to one sound. we're not close minded about genres and shit like that. Question 3: what are your guyes views on the current punk scene in the valley today!? there's anyone who wants to join a band. A vocalist and bassist. And so two guys commented and wanted to join the band. Our vocalist, Jaycob and bassist, Dan. We met up the day black flag played at the vex, and we all got along easily and already started making songs. Question 2:why did you choose that name and dies it reflect an idea? Well for about 2 weeks we were just throwing names around but none of them didn't sound right until our first show. We were still thinking of some but still none caught on. Then a few minutes before our time to play, we came up with The Offended. Everyone within the band liked it so we kept it. The Offended does have sort of a meaning but against society, like we're offended by society and everything included. The meanings in my head but its difficult to explain. Question 3: what are your guyes views on the boylhehieghts scene and the valley scene!? Its crap. Flyers and people who promote the shows are crap. They put "there will be a keg" or "noz will be sold" on flyers as if they're trying to manipulate these kids to come and buy beer and shit and get wasted. I see shows as an event to have fun and enjoy music not to go out somewhere and get wasted with your buddy's. I mean we're not against drinking but don't do use it as an excuse to where you have to use it in order to enjoy yourself. Also, there's this guy, Nacho (silly ass name), who throws these shows called "corrupted shows" and the idea of it is cool, where he puts ska, punk, metal, all kinds of genres but then again its the same bands on his shows over and over. And then theres this other dickhead, Max Camp, who asked us to play a show at los globos but after I gave him a link to our band page to listen to

Some bands are keeping it alive. its not what it use to be though. hopefully the scene stays for a few some recordings he tells us we can't play because "after some research (he just looked at more years.....long years. Question 4: as an upcoming band how has the scene responded to you dudes! first time playing in the scene as NOSE but in a past band they were really close minded about our how many likes we got) you guys won'tpull in a crowd", something like that, but its stupid because we would'nt be the ones having to do that because we weren't the headline band anyway. But the bands and some people within the scene are pretty cool, they help each

sound cause we played grunge and other shit that wasn't "Punk" in their eyes. but whatever, venues other by letting each other barrow equipment when needed to, help each other get shows, we've been playing lately like our stuff so we like to think that we don't disappoint. Question 5:what do you guyes wish to accomplish as a band within the scene! Well, in the scene we wanna do nothing but satisfy the crowd's thirst for rock. But as a band were just waiting until someone takes a chance with our music or until we melt some record producers mind. Interview w// The Offended //80s hardcore punk from Boyhle Heights Founded: July 24 2013 Members:Guitarist: Danny Perez Drummer: Nick "Snake" RodriguezBassist: Dan MartinezVocals: Jaycob Diaz Question 1:how did the offended come about? throw an helpful tip, stuff like that. Question4:what are your guyes musical influences! Our musical influence would be 80s dc/la hardcore. Question 5: So Are there any recordings in the works or any already out there for peeps to hear? Well we just finished recording our first ep, called "first five" it has our first five ever made songs plus a cover, "ready to fight" by Negative Approach. It's on YouTube if you wanna hear it, soon we'll start giving CDs out free during our shows, if you grab a CD it'll include 2 bonus songs. And we're also gonna record more songs for another ep.Which will consist another 5 or more songs. And we'll keep on self releasing new EPs for as long as we can.
