When all of the Moama
Grammar students arrived

back at school on Tuesday

the 14 of July, the northern
area of the school had been

split into two. For the
children’s safety the entire

area was fenced out so no
one could get into the

construction site, so it now

take a few more minutes to
get to the art and

technology rooms and on the
other side the library, year

9, 10, 11 lockers and rooms
20 and 21.

The new buildings that are getting built is a canteen

that all of the students are very excited about and
a new and more spacious staff room and a dance

hall for our dancers. The buildings should be

finished by the end of the year so the teachers and

students will have to get used to the new routes

they have to take.

Sports Day
On the 18th of August we
are having our athletics
sports day, it is hard to
guess who will win this
year because Meninya
won last year in 2008 and
Chanter won in 2007. It
is a good and fun day for
everyone; lots of people
dress up in their house
colours.
Half of the year
sevens have wooden
lockers and the other
half have metal
lockers. The wooden
ones are much larger
than the metal lockers
so everyone should
have wooden or
everyone should have
metal lockers.
