Introduction
6race. +t9s more ama<ing than you think. =e97e sung songs that say we97e been sa7ed by grace, without really knowing what that means. .nd, for years our tradition has led us to belie7e that grace is unmerited, undeser7ed and unearned fa7or gi7en to us by 6od, as a means to o7erlook or e4cuse our transgressions. >ou9re no doubt familiar with the scripture that promises, "B t where sin abo nded, grace did m ch more abo nd!" ?:omans *@&%A =e97e mistakenly used and abused this gift from 6od as a license to sin, and ha7e dri7en oursel7es farther away from the truth. To define it as we ha7e traditionally done so in the past, is

to tell Bust part of the story without hearing the conclusion of the whole matter. To limit the ability of grace is to misunderstand 6od9s intent, as well as its purpose in our li7es. C"or b# grace are #e sa$ed thro gh faith% and that not of #o rsel$es% it is the gift of God!!!!& ?Dphesians &@(A The 6reek word for grace is charis, which is the root word for charisma or endowment, such as the endowment or anointing of the ;oly 6host. +t means gift or fa7or, and is 6od9s di7ine influence upon your heart, and the reflection of that influence in your life. By studying the origin of the word, we can clearly see the definite relationship between grace and the anointing.

Because of the endowment, or anointing, we are able to turn impossibilities into possibilities. Because of the influence of 6od upon our hearts, we are able to do all that ;e9s called us to do. /o you see now where we97e limited the =ordE =e were ne7er taught that grace has its part in remo7ing the burdens and destroying the yokes that entangle our li7es. Until now, no one e4plained to us that the gift of grace is gi7en to each of us to assist in carrying out the specific task the ord has assigned us to do. 6race is the anointing of power and equipment for your ministry, which is how you are to ser7e 6od with your life, to obey and do whate7er ;e calls you to do. 1inistry does not only belong to the person preaching from the pulpit, but is the

There9s grace to be the best construction worker on the Bob site, grace to sing solos in church that set people free, and e7en grace to eliminate oppression in someone else9s life. Until recently, we ne7er e7en understood that there are different 'inds of grace, with accompanying methods of obtaining each. This re7elation surpasses our limited concept of being forgi7en e7ery time we mess up, and takes on lifechanging meaning. .fter reading this book, your life cannot and will not be the same. 3nce you get a hold of how 6od really intends for you to be blessed by ;is =ord, you9ll see this gift in a different light. D7ery human being ali7e today has been gi7en an assignment by 6od. D7eryone has something he or she has been called to do, appointed to do, by none other than the ord ;imself. +n addition, you97e been gi7en power, anointing, and equipment that you did not earn, nor deser7e, to carry out your assignment. ,ow, this gift of grace was gi7en to you before the 7ery foundation of the world, so that you might benefit others through your calling. .lthough we all ha7e a gift, our gifts are different based on the grace gi7en to us for our particular ministry. .nd, because the power for ministry differs, 6od doesn9t want you to try to operate in the anointing for something ;e hasn9t chosen for you. Some of you know what you97e been anointed to do, but you9re sitting on your calling, waiting on your big break. .ctually, what you9re doing is operating in false humility, as if you don9t deser7e to be used by the ord. >ou9re waiting for ;im to tell your pastor ?in the spiritA what your calling is, so you can recei7e a word of prophecy before you get started. re7ealed to those of you who ha7e yet to find out their calling. :emember, 6od will not gi7e you an assignment unless ;e also gi7es you the power, the anointing and the equipment to carry out that task. 'ait for the Power


3nce you97e heard from 6od, once you97e gotten to the place where ;e can speak to your heart and tell you what ;e9s called you to do, you still ha7e to be graced. Starting something without your 6od-gi7en anointing or equipment to see it through, is like trying to dri7e a car without an engine. There9s no power to accomplish the task. +n uke &5@5#, 0esus

Child of 6od, that means don9t go starting your auto repair business until you97e been endued or infused with power. That scripture is telling you not to start the itinerant ministry, or e7en the nail salon until you97e been gi7en the power to carry out the specific task 6od has gi7en you. Be patient, be still, and wait for the ord to equip you with the spiritual tools you need to succeed. Those who wait upon the ord with patience, and in ser7ice to ;im shall ha7e the strength to tackle e7ery situation and attain e7ery goal in

%i$h Treason
Specific grace to perform your assignment is entrusted to you by 6od, Bust as ;e entrusted .dam to do what he was called to do in the 6arden of Dden. But, .dam committed high treason, inasmuch as he failed to operate in that which 6od called him to operate. =hat9s more, .dam is not the only traitor as it applies to abusing the gifts and callings of 6od. Some of you ha7e also committed treason. !or e4ample, if you97e been blessed with a 7oice that has the power to soothe, comfort and prepare hearts to hear the =ord, you9re a traitor if you take this anointing outside the church. This gift has not been gi7en to you so that you can lea7e church, cut a pri7ate record deal and get rich off the profits. The reason

some gospel music is so per7erted today is that it has been taken out of the church, and allowed to operate independently of a pastor and local church. 1usic was designed by 6od to make the anointing a7ailable to the congregation. +t was designed so that once the sower ?pastorA started sowing the seed ?the =ordA, there was enough anointing in the air to remo7e burdens and destroy yokes. >ou may ha7e personally had your attitude adBusted, or your heart softened by the 7oice of a man or woman of 6od anointed to minister through song. This anointing works to assist the seed of 6od9s =ord being planted and recei7ed in the soil of people9s hearts. 3nce the heart is prepared, and the =ord is sown and gets into the heart, folks are able to go home changed =hyE Because the singing got people ready to hear, accept and act on the =ord of 6od going forth from the

pulpit. +f 6od has anointed you to sing, it is to sing under authority of a local assembly. =hen you try to e4ist outside of 6od9s purpose, you prostitute the grace and it becomes what + call CgreasyC grace. >es, .men. + know reading this stuff makes some folks uncomfortable, because they9re being challenged in this area, but ord knows it9s the truth.

That9s why it9s necessary to hear from 6od and know what it is ;e would ha7e you do to ser7e ;im. + recogni<e the anointing on my life. + reali<e that it is not to be prostituted by the media, or by the world. That9s one of the reasons + don9t do inter7iews. This anointing on my life is for sinners who want to come out of darkness into the mar7elous light, and belie7ers who want to grow in Christ. +9m

anointed Bust for you, and + know it. This anointing is not to benefit myself, but is to be dispensed to you, imparted to you and put upon you. CAnd when James, 9ephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, percei$ed the grace that was gi$en nto me, the# ga$e to me and Barnabas the right hands

of fellowship% that we sho ld go nto the heathen, and the# nto the circ mcision!" ?6alatians &@#A There are those of you who are using your gift for worldly, secular reasons when you know in your heart that ;e has gi7en you the grace to operate within the kingdom of 6od. +9m sure you know who you are, but +9m equally sure that through prayer you can get past this stage. +9m praying that you will mo7e beyond the point where you Bustify, make e4cuses, and do whate7er you can to preser7e your present position. 6od has called us all to be good stewards of the gift he has bestowed upon us. ;e has called us to manage the anointing properly to see that it is not used for purposes other than ;is own. Trying to Bustify what you do when you know that 6od has called you to operate for the Body does not set well

Belie7e me when + tell you, ;e9s not going to wait until you make up your mind to be obedient. ;e9ll replace you because ;e doesn9t ha7e the time for you to work through your rebellion. ;e9s got prophets on the other side of the land who are meet, suitable, adaptable and ready for the 1aster9s use. +f +9m talking about you, make up your mind to obey 6od and get to the place ;e9s calling you to be.

a gift to make sure that you can do what ;e9s called you to do. =hat ;e9s gi7en only to you makes you who you are. +t has not been gi7en to you in 7ain, because by that anointing of power and equipment, you are special in the eyes of 6od.

Grace *ersus avor


.s a matter of fact, you9re so special that 6od is e7er-ready to show you fa7or, as well as grace. They9re different, but folks seem to misunderstand the subtle difference between them. 2erhaps that9s because there9s such a thin line between the two. Some ha7e taken liberty with the differences between them and ha7e tried to use grace as a license to sin. ,ow, grace implies more than fa7or. The primary difference between the two is that grace first of all, is a free gift. !a7or, on the

other hand is a kind act. =hen you ha7e grace you ha7e fa7or, but when you ha7e fa7or you don9t necessarily ha7e grace. et me e4plain. + can do you a fa7or, a kind act, and not necessarily ha7e to gi7e you a gift. But when + gi7e you grace, + ha7e to gi7e + you a gift, and that is a part of that fa7or. ;a7e you e7er had someone do you a fa7orE /id you get a gift each timeE !a7or can be deser7ed, earned or gained. 6race is the fa7or that you don9t deser7e, but fa7or is not the grace that you can9t deser7e. >ou can deser7e, sow for, and confess fa7or. 6race is the power and equipment for ministry. That9s the gift for you to do what you97e been assigned or called to do. !a7or is the power and the equipment in the time of need.

#ou Can Do All Thin$s


+ thank the ord that + walk in the fa7or of 6od, and in the comfort of the ;oly 6host. That9s a statement + make as part of my daily confession. +9m referring to fa7or in the time of need, that + can go to 6od and request through prayerFand get itG >ou can be graced to carry out your ministry, but you can also be graced, or find fa7or to help you get through and triumph o7er certain situations. =hen a need comes up, and you97e been li7ing right, and acting right and doing what

you9re supposed to do, you can say ord, >ou told me to run boldly to the throne that + may obtain. .nd, since a gift can9t be obtained only gi7en, you know in this instance that the grace you9ll recei7e is a gift from 6od in the time of need. >es, we9re sa7ed by grace but we are not to use it as a license to sin, but as an opportunity to o7ercome.

In the Ti+e of Need


=hate7er you need, there is an anointing to handle e7ery situation in your life. ;owe7er, you97e got to be faithful in order for that grace to operate in the time of need. >ou9ll be faced with a need to accomplish something in your life that perhaps will challenge your e4perience and talent. ;owe7er, you can9t Bust pass it by and say that9s not your calling, because 6od will grace you to

handle it. Dspecially if you9re the only one a7ailable with a willing heart. D7en if what9s needed is far outside your specific calling, 6od will anoint you to handle the Bob until the person who is graced to do the Bob, shows up. Hechariah "&@"%

The Spirit of 6od said this to me@ C+ am about to pour upon the body of Christ, the Spirit of 6race. +f my children make themsel7es a7ailableC, 6od says, C+9ll anoint them to do e4ceedingly, abundantly abo7e all that they could e7er think they9d be able to do. The spirit of grace is landing on those who will make themsel7es good stewards of the gift.C

#ou Can Gain avor


6race is fa7or, but fa7or is not necessarily grace. There are some things you can do to get, earn and deser7e certain fa7ors from 6od in the time of need. .nd, grace in the time of need is different from grace as a gift of life.
=et s then fearlessl# and confidentl#, and boldl# draw near to the throne of grace1the throne of God's nmerited fa$or to s sinners% that we ma# recei$e merc# 2for o r fail res3 and find grace to help in good time for e$er# need1appropriate help, and well<timed help, coming @ st when we need it! This grace in the time of need says that when you9re in trouble, or when you9re e4periencing failure, or in need, 6od will allow grace to come into your life because ;e9s easily touched by our

infirmities. ;e9s a 6od that understands what you9re going through. .nd, while ;e recogni<es that your gift may be the gift of prophecy, ;e also understands that at this moment in time you9re in need of healing power to lay hands on a brother or sister. >our gift of grace to prophesy 6od knows, will not take their pain away. ;e knows that you need help, and that you need it right now. ;e appropriates help in time of trouble, showing fa7or and allowing the power, anointing and equipment to come into your life in the time of need. 0ust make sure that you don9t mistake it as your grace for life.

Gifts and Callin$s of God


+f you97e been called to be a prophet, yet in the time of need, 6od allowed an anointing of healing to come o7er you, don9t go out and start a healing ministry.

Because, when the need is met, the grace for that time is gone. .nd, that9s where a lot of people miss it. >ou can9t earn the gift that 6od puts on you, but you can earn that anointing ;e puts on you in time of need. Besides, you9re stuck with the gift of grace. !or those of you screaming, Cthat9s not scriptural,C let9s check The Book and find out if it is or not. The Bible says in :omans "&@&#, C"or the gifts and callings of God are witho t repentance!" =hich of course means, that ;e will not change ;is mind concerning what ;e has gifted you with from the foundation of the world, to carry out the task for which you97e been born. True, sin in your life hinders the flow of the anointing, but 6od still will not change ;is mind about what ;e9s called you to do. !or the life of me, + can9t understand why Christians are so hard on preachers who fall into sin. +t9s almost as if you want

to crucify them and kick them out of the pulpit for life. That9s a bit drastic, especially since 6od is not about to change ;is mind about calling that man to preach. 6od is in the recycling business and practices forgi7eness. Some of you Christians seem to be in the business of discarding whome7er doesn9t li7e up to your e4pectations. ,o matter what you97e done, if you get rid of the sin, the flow of the anointing will return into your life. steward, to see what you9re going to do with the gift ;e9s put on your life. + don9t know about you, but + refuse to go to hea7en with an unused gift. +9m going to take the wrapping paper off my gift, and +9m going to let it be seen throughout the world. +9m not about to stand before 6od at the Budgment with a present that9s ne7er been opened or used for ;im to say, Cdepart from me you worker of iniquity.C .nd, while we9re on the subBect of Budgment day, let me clarify something. Contrary to what you may belie7e, that is not the time when your sins will be brought up. >ou will not hear 6od say, Cwell, you committed this sin and repented, then you committed another sin and repented for it as well.C ,o, Child of 6od. This is what 6od has to say about that sin of yours, "!!! for ) will forgi$e their ini7 it#, and ) will remember their sin no more!" ?0eremiah '"@'5A ;e9s

saying here that your sins are cast into the sea of forgetfulness, ne7er to be remembered again. So, that which has been forgotten, is not going to brought up again on that day or any other day. That old mess that you97e done, and repented for is gone fore7er. Unless you bring it up, you9ll ne7er hear about it from 6od or ha7e him to talk about it again as long as you li7e. 6lory to 6odG C)f we confess o r sins, 0e is faithf l and @ st to forgi$e s o r sins and to cleanse s of all nrighteo sness!" ?" 0ohn "@#A ;e throws your sin as far away as the east is from the west, and as you know those two directions will ne7er touch. >our sins are then forgotten. 6od is not absentminded, but ;e chooses to settle the sin issue as soon as you ask forgi7eness and repent. 3n 0udgment /ay, 6od will talk to you about what you were put on earth to do. ;e9ll talk about the anointing on your life, and whether or

not you were a good steward o7er that anointing. Then, crowns will be gi7en to those who were good stewards o7er the gift they were gi7en in order to benefit someone else9s life. .nd, for the man who signed a recording contract with the world, instead of singing in the church choir where 6od graced him to be, he9ll ha7e to gi7e an account. =hyE Because 6od doesn9t grace us to be used for the de7il9s purposes. 6od did not sa7e you so the de7il can get the glory. /on9t allow anyone or anything to distract you, Child of 6od. 1ake sure that you do what 6od has graced you do.

6od9s grace is sufficient, competent, able, qualified and enough to get the Bob done.

>ou know, most people think 6od puts ;is power on them so they can sit down and let grace do the work. ,o, you9re still going to ha7e to go through whate7er you9re going through, but ;e

says +9m going to gi7e you strength to do what9s hard for you to do within your natural ability. +9m anointing you with my CsuperC on your CnaturalC and you9ll be able to do it right. >ou9ll be able to accomplish supernaturally. >ou9ll be able to stand. 1y grace will enable you to do whate7er you ha7e to do. CBut Brother /ollar, if 6od really lo7es me, why do + ha7e to go through all of thatEC ook, as long as you come out, the only thing you should do is thank 6od you made it through.
