MODULE 4: Third Chakra (Personal Power Chakra)

Syl: Thank you. Thank you for coming. I think Im going to go ahead and start again like last time. I told them I wouldnt get them credit, but John heard me say Orange you glad youre not wearing orange tonight? Now I know why he didnt want me to give him credit.

THE POWER CENTER: Ok, well, were going to begin with the third Chakra. As you probably heard from Carols emails and maybe a few of you got mine, the third Chakra is the center for power. Its your will and its a wonderful, wonderful Chakra to work on. Its sort of challenging in comparison to some of the others because we get where its really easy to talk about being stuck with money, or stuck with issues of wounding, second Chakra issues. Its very easy to talk about how to sort of move through these lower Chakras. When you get to the third Chakra, you actually have to do something about it. So, its challenging for most people and Im going to try and cover this in the most clear sense that I can and hopefully Ill have some information thats beneficial to you as well. To kind of go by the workbook for this specific Chakra, the third Chakra is called, the Sanskrit word is manipura, which is translates over to mean lustrous gem. And its colors are the colors of yellow, obviously I feel so silly saying that while Im looking out at all this yellow. But yellow is a real sort of awakening. Kind of get up and do something color. I dont know if youve noticed that, when you wear it you feel more like a lot of energy and movement kind of going through the body. The location of this Chakra let me see if I can just set this booklet behind here for a second. Nope, ok. I guess not. The location of this Chakra is the naval, right there, to really where your breast bone ends.

THE RESET BUTTON: Syl: So why dont we all just stand up for a second. New info tonight maybe. We have a reset button. Just like the computer does, actually. Energetically. The reset button is your naval. Its the belly button. Its where it all began, you know as far as sustenance came. And basically what Id like you to do is take one thumb up there, and then take the other thumb and sort of tuck under and sort of press on the naval. And you should feel something a little powerful. Ok? Did you feel that? You kind of feel a little, oh wow. Is anybody not feeling it? You can raise your hand. Who is feeling it? Ok. Somethings going on on this side of the room, thats for sure. So just you kind of tuck under, and you press back almost until you can feel the inside of your spine. You can also feel, Im sorry! You can also try it this way. Grab the thumbs and just hold them behind. Take the fingers right there. You can work on that. But it is an energetic reset button. And youll feel something by pressing the belly button. Work on it. Play with it a little bit at home. I wouldnt do it again, in the line to the post office, people just wont understand. But you can press in nice and hard on this and when you felt it, what did people feel? What were you feeling? Those that felt it, anybody willing to just throw out an answer really loud? UF: Syl: UF: Syl: UF: Syl: Like I wanted to puke if I pressed any harder. Ok, like some nausea. Electric. It felt electric, yeah. Definitely. Warm. Warm.

Pain through my whole torso. A lot of pain through the whole torso. Did you say that? Ok. Good. Not good, but you know what I mean.

THAI YOGA THERAPY: Syl: Youre going to, youre feeling something. For me, and when you really get connected with the energetic lines in your body, and this is where the Thai yoga therapy comes in, the Thai yoga where youre laid on a floor and Im just basically flipping you around and moving your body in all these different yoga postures, its really hard to conceptualize if you havent seen it. If you want to see what it looks like being done, you can go to my website under Thai yoga therapy. Theres a description of what it is and then you click on Thai yoga therapy at the bottom and I grabbed two of my employees from the bank, bless their hearts, on our day off and I said Come to my house I need pictures for my website. So youll be able to see it and sort of conceptualize it. But basically the premise is that there are energy lines in the body and they follow very similar the Chinese meridian lines. And this is where all the lines cross. So if youre feeling some electricity there, thats because this is a major hub energetically for your whole body. Just a really quick, brief story. I when I was in my first Thai yoga therapist training, I was learning how to do it and everybody was taking turns and Im thinking this is going to be so cool. Im going to go live in this place for ten days, and Im going to get a give, learn how to give massages and Im going to get Thai massages like for nine days! I wasnt there for ten minutes before I realized that Im here for nine days by people who dont know what theyre doing. So it was a really interesting week. And you found people there that you really resonated with and others that you were somewhat neutral. There was one person there that I was

not real, I didnt have a very close affinity to. Well just say it that way. I dont know what it was. I do know what it was, but Im not going to say it right here. Anyway, but this person was who I drew. We drew names to give each other a full Thai yoga treatment at the end of the training so we could give and get. And this gentleman who was working on me, he was giving me the Thai massage and in the Thai massage theres a point that if you see it, you think Wild, that is really weird. But basically, what the Thai yoga therapist does is kneel on the ground, here, I tuck you up, so youre legs are kind of up over your head, and I bring you back and your legs come right here and your behind rests right here and then I work acupressure points on the belly with your breath. So Im really in personal space, and its a very respectful, Im very respectful of the fact that you are just right there. Its really odd. I wont go there. But its good, in a good way. It releases tremendous tension and blockages through this belly section. So here I am, laying over this guy, whos working on me, and Im just really fairly relaxed into the massage. And he pressed just very lightly on my belly, just maybe took his hand and went like that. And I felt something go whht, like ok, just calm down. He pressed in again, and it went right up into my heart and circled around and shot it out. And I started to cry. And saw who, in my opinion, is one of the perfect men in the world (for pictures go to my website), but he was the one who taught me the process and you know, we kind of brought him over and he said, Tears, oh what are the tears for? And you know when youre like Im fine, Im ok, but if someone comes up and says Awww, youre like Oh, I cant take it anymore. So that was basically the response, you know the tears just really cried. So he sat beside me and just really put his right hand on my left hand and then he took his other hand and just kind of held it up. And while this guy pushed on my belly button, I thought I was having a heart attack.

And he explained that the sens sushumna, which is a really major energy line in the body, they cross, they go from the soles of the feet, up to the legs, cross at the belly, come right out and out through the palms of your hands. And I had realized that I had reached kind of a plateau. My heart had never really opened before in my entire life. And it took me getting to that point to realize that my heart had never opened in my entire life. And it was the power in my belly that was keeping that shut down and pulled tight, locked down. So a lot of us use the strength in our bellies to keep the heart locked closed. And it was a real epiphany, and it went on for quite some time but it was a major aha in my life and theres no other way I could have learned that than for someone to push on my belly button. Its not like grandpa, pull my finger. Its not like press my belly button. Its like a really major area. You deal with your connection to your mother through this area. I know that really clues me in to whats going on with my mother when I press on my belly button, because youve got that energetic connection. Carol talked about that a little bit last time.

PHYSIOLOGY OF THE THIRD CHAKRA:

Syl:

Ok, that was a very long introduction. But just moving on to this Chakra, the pancreas and your adrenal glands are the glands of this Chakra. So its your adrenals, your fight or flight, youre kind of your gathering to have that power in place. Fire is the element. When you take the matter of the first Chakra, Chakra one is survival, grounding and earth. And you take that matter and you apply the movement of the second Chakra, you start to get heat, and then fire, and then transforming, from wood to ash to tress, that whole cycle. So this is a really major center for that sort of thing. Starches are the food for this Chakra, sense of sight is the site.

Rhum is the seed sound, rhum, rhum. Remind you of a Harley Davidson? Theres some power there. Golden champa is the aromatherapy and if you want to go ahead Stephanie and pass that around. The golden champa is like nothing Ive ever smelled. It was, the first time it got sent to me from India, it was like I know this smell, yet I cant, I dont know what it is. Its just really elusive and wonderful, deep, powerful smell. Youll get a sense of that. Well pass one of those around the room. The other one I have here tonight, and I think theyve almost sold out before we even started is the mango. The mango is a combination between the second and third Chakra. Its a botanical blend, which means its not one oil, its not the essential oil of a mango flower, but its a blend of several different oils. And its blended for me in limited edition batches and this batch is a good batch, I can tell you that. Some of you could smell it when you walked in the room. And basically it as originally blended by my supplier, a really fabulous archeologist Ive talked to you about him before, for the Marriott Hotel lobby to be diffused. And I was on the phone with him a couple of days ago and he said You know I got a call from the Marriott and theyre telling me that people are walking in off the street to sit there and read, or just sit there in the lobby to smell this smell, people that arent even staying in the hotel. He said its just really amazing. The other thing he said about the mango, which was really unique, I havent tried yet, but he takes it and he was at a some sort of metaphysical trade show, energy therapy trade show or something like that, and he went up to someone who had the Kirlian photography, and could photograph his aura, and he could see the colors in his aura just kind of greens and pale light colors around his aura, and he said to the guy, let me do an experiment. I want to try it with this mango. And the guy is like woohoo, whatever, but he put just a little on his fingertips, and just kind of rubbed it around all down him and up, just kind of circled it around his head, you know, hes standing there

right in front of the camera, his kind of the colors around his body went to bright oranges, bright yellows. Really amazing shift right there so, we had a chuckle about that. Anyway, amber and topaz are some of the more traditional stones, but citrine is really the gemstone of this Chakra. And citrine is for flexibility. Its for letting go of things that dont serve you anymore. And Carol can talk about that a little bit more. Shame is the inhibitor of the third Chakra. How many of us have been shamed? What is your first experience with shame? Anybody know? Whats one of your first experiences with shame? Being a girl. Its a big one, yeah. UF: Syl: When I was in school, when I was in second grade. Late to school, which ties right in to this Chakra. I love the flower by the way. I was standing in line in front of her when she bought it. Being late to school, that ties into the authoritarianism that we really kind of give our control over to someone else to lead us and it starts in the second Chakra with sexuality. You know, we had a fairly intimate group here for this second Chakra and it was really beautiful experience for me, I hope it was for those of you that were here. It was very yen. That Chakra was.

SEXUALITY AND TRANSFORMATION:

Syl:

But, you know sexuality is either exploited or repressed and thats where our first experiences, some of our first experiences with shame happen, is that we dont get the balance of that healthiness of the fact that that is a part of our existence. Instead, we pretend that its not there, or we put it out there to make it be something that its not, at really lower ebb of the flow. So, authority is one of the issues of this Chakra. Are you going to give your authority over to someone else? Or are you going to use your own thinking mind and will power of

your own body to make decisions for yourself? How willing are we to do that? Transformation, this Chakra is all about transformation. And combustion. And kind of the phrase of this Chakra is I can. And this Chakra is probably, theyre all they all kind of apply to what Carol wrote in her book. This Chakra is real specific to intention. Go ahead and stand up again. If you just sort of get a sense of yourself energetically, youre first Chakra is at the root. Its at the base of the spine. So its sort of tucked away. The second Chakra is surrounded by sort of this cradle of the hips. The heart is surrounded by the ribs and the sternum. The throat, youve got the clavicle right there, its resting right there. Youve got the head just right above. Its a very small place, but its going to be a fun one, so dont miss that one. Its going to be great. Its one of my favorites. The third eye is behind, safely behind. And the crown is just the crown, its above anything else. The only thing that supports this area of your body, other than your spine, in essence, is will. Theres nothing else supporting this area. It can collapse. And its so hard when someone is, when you stand face to face with someone to try and stand up and stand there belly to belly, you get a real sense of that person, you get some communication going on. How hard is it for you to stand up to your boss like this? When you communicate with your boss, especially if youre tall. Its like that was one of my first experiences with shame. Im 57 in seventh grade. Im looking down the hall at this sea of heads and its like immediately this shrinking feeling. Go ahead and have a seat, once you have a feel for it. Then were going to move right into some breath work. So go ahead and sit up nice and straight. Are you ok if I sit down on this platform? Will you still be able to see me do you think? No? Ill stay here but its really best done sitting, which you are.

OPENING THE CHAKRA:

Syl:

So just really open things up. Let the heart left up a little bit. And let the shoulders kind of come up and roll back and down. Really allow the heart to be open. Then take a breath in and relax the belly. Weve got the Dr. Seuss character. So just try relaxing the belly and pulling it in. This is another way to work with this whole pressure on this point. But the breath Im going to teach you is Kapalabhati breathing. And this is a kind of a fun breath. If you know anything about yoga breathing all of the breaths are in the workbook and theres a really great guided meditation CD back there for the Chakras, but also for Pranayama. So if you want learn like nine really amazing breaths that can change your brain chemistry, I have had two yogis in this past series come up to me and say, One, I was housebound, I was couldnt leave my house because of paranoia and anxiety, and shes been doing the pranayama every day and shes getting out of the house at least three times a day, which is huge. Its been three years. And the other gal has been trying to get off antidepressant drugs for about seven years and is having some real great success with the pranayama practice. Because the oxygenation of your blood to your brain will really change your brain chemistry.

KAPALA BHATI BREATHNG:

Syl:

So if you want to experience a shift in taking control of your power, its in the workbook. And if you want to just be able to sit there with my voice in the background, just sit there and do it, you can look into the CD. But this is Kapala Bhati. This is the breath of power. And basically we use the Ujjayi breath that I taught in the first class. So the tongue is just kind of touching lightly on the palette. That just opens up the back of the throat. You dont really have to think about it. Just touch the tongue up there. And then take a breath in through the nose. And go phwoot, phwoot [breathing]. Great. You got it. Thats good.

Ok the next part of the Kapala Bhati breath, that many people tend to sort of reverse is they go [breathing] and push out with their belly. But youre actually making the same sounds youre making when you go Huh. Just give it a try. Huh. So it automatically will tuck in. That is what thats doing is you have a reservoir for all your lymphatic flow right here. So all the garbage that comes from your cells is kind of works through this reservoir. And this is where most of your lymphatic flow kind of congregates. When you press in, like this, youre actually taking those kind of long, Jackie what do you want to call them? They look like bronchia, kind of like that. Youre taking those and youre shortening them and then youre lengthening them. So youre starting to sort of squeeze out lymphatic flow into your body and thats where you get a feeling of really just general wellness and feeling good. Ok? So with Kapalabhati pranayama you basically just take a breath in through the nose and then you pump out. [Breathing] Then finish it out. Inhale all the way up to the nose. Just hold it there for a moment right at the top and relax back out. So its really Kapalabhati means skull shining. So its just like woooo! However, Pranayama practice, you dont do it when youre operating heavy equipment or driving a car or anything like that. I was trying to get to my brothers. I had driven from Provo to Sacramento once and it was like one in the morning and Im sitting there along the freeway doing the Kapalabhati because its skull shining, its supposed to wake me up right? Well the car was going like 90 miles an hour and the trees were moving sooooo sloooow. So you definitely dont want to do this to stay awake while youre driving. So lets just do three rounds and Ill just talk you through it. Take a deep breath in through the nose. Finish it out. Inhale up. Just hold lightly at the top without closing the throat and release your breath when youre ready. When you release your breath at the top, rather than going [breathe], try just going [breathe] and then the shoulders, but the heart stays

lifted. Its really soothing feeling. Again, another round. A deep breath in. [Breathes out] Inhale up. Hover at the top. Exhale down. Once more. [Breathes] And its really grounding, very centering. But it really gets you in touch with the power thats right here. Another great way, Im going to have you stand up. Bend your knees slightly and put your hands on your knees and then just pull the belly in and release it out. In and out. Thats kind of the action of Kapalabhati breath. But its fabulous for helping digestion and stimulating your lymphatic flow.

JOURNALING:

Syl:

So youve got a couple of tools there that you can use to really open up this third Chakra. Alright? Go ahead and have a seat. On this in the workbook as you turn to kind of the second page, theres somatic journaling. Abdomen, mid back and the sides of the torso. So on the somatic journal its meant to just you speak as though the body were the whole. I am the abdomen. And I have to work very hard to protect myself. I never get a break. Or I have to have more and more padding in order to protect me. I have to disappear. I have to have no one see me. There can be no shape here. There can be nothing here. I dont move my, I never move. So just experiencing the movement through this place will open up that mid back, torso, sides, Im always sore, you know. Speak as though it were the whole. And then somatic balancing Im not going to demonstrate this because I did it last time, for those of you that were here, yelling out loud. When I mean yelling out loud, I mean, who was here last time? I mean that. Yelling really, really loud. Change your routine. What youre doing with the third Chakra is youre breaking inertia. Youre breaking a pattern when you begin and you go and you get the momentum and youre going, going, going in a positive or negative pattern, you want to break that kind of inertia. You want to do something different.

Try driving a different way to work. It will change your life. Even if it doesnt make any sense. Try driving a different way to work. Self defense classes are fabulous. Learning how to actually yell. And its fabulous for women or men, but specifically for women who are jogging, you need to know how, if you were accosted when you were out running, how to really like yell loud. And one of the best things that you can do energetically to somebody is go ahead and do it? Ok John, come up then. Im not going to do the one that will send you to the floor, its just, Im not going to demonstrate that one. Ok, just right here. You can stand in front of the manipura Chakra. Give you some power. Ok, so youre just youre feeling good. Youre feeling power. Just take a deep breath in through the belly and then hold out your arm, so were just doing some muscle testing. Im not going to throw you over my shoulder. So just resist me. Were going, were getting youre strong. Theres that. So the difference for the other would be Hah! Now hold out your arm. So, if someone is attacking you, to just all you have to do is Hah! You know, just like that. You dont even have to touch him. And then he wont be able to catch you. Just run the other way. Thank you. How do you get stronger now? Heres what you do. And this is fabulous in a work environment. I use this all the time. Im not going to say who, because they might watch the DVD and I wont, well, usually the board of directors when I leave a board meeting at the bank, ok? So sue me! So basically or after giving a Thai massage or when youre doing, if any of you do healing work, and you help people, youre taking on some of their energy. Even if its just a friend and youve sat there and had this really amazing visit, and youre worried about them. Youd like to know how to help them, once theyre done or youre finished with what I just did by breaking your energetic flow, how do you get that back? Well, you can rub the heart, thats always good. You can rub the belly, thats good. But to get it back to end with what just happened, you just cut

the cord. Just like that. Hold out your arm. And you can do that. If youve had a very, thank you, you can go down now, if youve had a really ok, its Thanksgiving lets say. And the day is over and youve spent the day with your family and youve got all these different family dynamics, and youre feeling the pull and tug of this generational stuff, whatever. If you are in bed at night and youre feeling that yucky feeling, you know if youve experience trauma at nighttime and you need to be able to kneel down and pray and not have it be a trigger into the word Father. You just [breath] before, and youre energetic flow is clear. My staff and I worked with a regularly, but this one too, after that robbery we were just when the customers would leave the bank, we were just like Phew! Its just killing us. But a lot of this, its one of the first things I teach my tellers. When they originally are first hired by me, they look at me and think, What have I got myself into? And then Ill see a wooooo after someone comes in and complains or whatever. But you can use that in any situation and it protects your power. How much time are we doing ok? Youll let me know? I have got to do the yoga, so leave a few minutes. Rock climbing, fabulous. There are rock climbing walls and they cater to anybodys size. Week or strong, large or small.

THIRD CHAKRA ACTIVITIES:

Do they have to be natural or can they be artificial? No, no. Its best if its natural. I mean youre getting all the energy there, but just hiking. Taking a hike. Building a fire is fabulous. You know I was blocked of this Chakra when I was doing this guided meditation CD and I was writing down the guided imagery meditations for the workbook. I was really blocked. And Im like How am I going to do this?

Because I can get to the higher realms and stay in that spiritual level but to actually get that spirituality down in the body and be able to process it, how do I do that if Ive got a block here? And I did the golden champa (you can pass that around, did you pass it around already? And the mango.) but the golden champa comes in a hydrosol that you can drop into water and sip it. And I sat down to do a meditation one evening just on why I was blocked. Just to get some answers. I was sipping that and I had a pencil and paper expecting just to write 1, 2, 3, these are the reasons Im blocked in my third Chakra. And I took like four sips of that golden champa, and instead of writing it I just wrote down the meditation just right out of my head. It just flowed. And its a really beautiful meditation and it has to do with your power and fire and courage and getting that protection to carry through from you. Its wonderful. Its probably my favorite one on there. Power walk, thats great. Sorry Perry. Ripping up boxes. You can choose how big, how small. Ice cube throws are fabulous. I live in a place where I have a high balcony that looks down onto kind of a street. Its condos. I was dealing with some really, needing some of my own power back, and I really wanted to destroy something. I needed something to be transformed and Im thinking, Ill go to DI and Ill buy a bunch of glass and Ill just throw it. And yeah, then I would have had to clean it up, and thats so tied into the feminine stuff that I had going on. So I decided ice and its really satisfying. My neighbors will occasionally, yeah I watch for cars, theyll see my son and I off the balcony and to see it splatter. Its very satisfying. Laughing circle. And if I had time, Id lay all of you on the floor with one person on somebody elses belly and the next person on their belly, and the next person on their belly. Its amazing. I do it in yoga in my holiday series I teach. We all lay on the floor and everybodys got their head on somebody elses belly and somebody elses head is on somebody elses belly. And then all you have to do is say

Ha. And the head goes like this. And it makes you laugh. By the time youre done, everybodys like bouncing on each others bellies. So its fabulous for you probably will never have an experience where your third Chakra is so pleasantly open than doing that laughing circle. Its something to try. And Ill try it, anybody who wants to stay five minutes after, we can lay on the floor and give it a try. Uddiyana Bandha is to take and pull up. And release and pull up. Uddiyana Bandha takes it a step further and Im not in the right clothes to really demonstrate it, but basically, you pull in all the way and then keep pulling. You know when you were a little kid and you said, Look how skinny I am? [Sucks in breath] That is uddiyana bandha. And its incredibly fabulous, again, for the lymphatic flow, but more specifically for the duodenum. But right here where your stomach goes into your small intestine you can get a lot of blockage there. That icky feeling like nothings really passing through me, thats fabulous for opening that up. And then the last one is Kapalabhatia pranayama. And weve demonstrated some of that. POWER:

Syl:

How do you view power? We view power as over instead of empowered to. Instead of an ability to have power within ourselves, we view power as having power over something else. And that is false power. Gandhi said you must be the change you wish to see in the world. And that is real power. The power not to be intimidated by power over you. That you can remain within your own power when others are trying to have power over you. And to be able to recognize when youre being taught and guided and served and when an empowered or when youre having some authoritarianness over you. Its up to you to decide, and there are all different levels of gray. How can you tell when you posses power? We spend a lot of time avoiding our power, our own power. I must not be powerful, no matter what happens. I cannot have power

over someone because I felt power over me and I will never do that to anyone. So we avoid our own power. So we dont open our mail and we dont balance our checking account. Thats really what happens. Its that root Chakra. Its like ok, I got to get a handle on my money, but how do I empower myself that I am not in a place of fear, that I will open up my mail, and balance my checking account. Or I will stand face to face to someone who I know wishes to bring me down and feel completely safe and empowered in that place. How can you tell when someone else possesses true power? The power within, Gandhi you know? What more power do you need? Nelson Mandela, he was no more in prison when he was in those walls. And there are people walking around on the street imprisoned. So freedom is a huge deal here. Theres a fabulous movie, Im sure a lot of you have seen it called The Edge with Anthony Hopkins. But there is a line in there. Theyre basically stranded and theyre in a very remote place. And theres a line in that movie that really hits the nail on the head. And Anthony Hopkins keeps telling these guys who are thinking, Oh crap, what are we going to do? Were going to die out here. Why do men die in the wilderness? They die of shame. Oh, I should have done this, I should have done that, I wish I, if I had only worked it out this way, how could I? And so youre all in that energy of shame that takes you down and closes you off and really connects, disconnects you from your heart. The power here really can pull it closed up here. To find a place where youre parenting from a place of empowerment for your child, a servant leader is one of the most powerful things. At what times do you feel more powerful? What is your motivation? What is your desire, what is your intention for your power?

In the Judeo-Christian society, which many of us are in this room, and I would hope not to offend anyone at all, but do you wake up in the morning with someone with a Christian background, I ask myself, or I reiterate to myself, today Im about my fathers business, not about me. And that puts my day in a whole different perspective. Who in your life do you think of as being powerful in a respectful way? Anybody want to share? Names that speak to you, powerfully, changing, life changing people. Yeah, Oprah Winfreys had a big shift, from families beating each other up, to really, if you look at what shes doing, shes really empowering people. People who are empowering are unafraid and are comfortable that their power is not to be over others. And that way you can work from the heart. Who in your life do you think of as being powerful in a respectful way? Just ask yourself that, and connect yourself with those people. Write out a one-, five- and a ten-year plan of where you would like to be. This is really using your intentions. Dont hold back. Put it out there. YOGA:

Syl:

For the third Chakra, the arms up, exhale stretch back through the sit bones, into a chair syndrome. For beginners you can place your hands on your hips. Gently on your inhalation, lift the hips higher, as you fold the body forward, straightening the legs. Leave the knees bent if you need to, into the forward fold. Inhale through standing forward arch. Exhale, step the leg back. Join it with the opposite leg to an all fours position. Exhale the elbows tight to the torso as you lower the body down to the mat. Inhaling up through upward facing. Beginners can leave the knees on the floor as you exhale back through extended child. Press the pressure in towards the thumbs, open up the shoulders drawing the right foot forward, with the knee not surpassing the ankle. Take a deep breath in, lift the heart,

draw the shoulders slightly back and away from the ears. Extending the back up away. Exhale the hands back to the mat and down through. Inhale upward facing, knees on the floor. Exhale back to downward facing. Nice deep breath in as you draw the opposite leg forward. Again, taking care not to surpass the knee over the ankle, draw the hips down with the front foot press actively into the floor. With the back toe, press actively into the floor. Strengthen both quadriceps. Exhale yourself back to all fours and inhaling into upward facing. Exhaling back through extended child. Inhale step forward again to standing forward arch. Exhale through forward fold. Inhale as you lower the hips into the chair position. Utkatasana the powerful pose. Inhale the arms up, take a nice deep long stretch reaching far away from the tail bone for more heat in the body. And exhale the hands back to Namaste as you straighten the legs. Inhale the arms up. Exhale press back through the hips bending the knees into the chair position. Exhale draw the hands back behind you, and lower the head to a forward fold taking your time. Allowing the breath to move through the backside of the ribs. Inhale through standing forward arch, and exhale step both feet back. The optimum is suspended above the ground. As you move exhaling down through the plank pose. Inhale to upward facing, exhale down to downward facing. Taking your time to straighten the knees. Taking your time to adjust yourself, rather than just striking a pose. Find the strength as you draw the right leg forward to Virabhadras Pose I, warrior I. Again, the knee is not to surpass the ankle. The heart begins to lift. Strength moving back through the back leg as you lift the arms high above the head. Take a nice deep breath in and then exhale back to plank, lowering down to the floor. Inhale through upward facing, knees off the floor. Exhale back using the strength in the hamstrings for downward facing. Inhale the opposite leg forward, rotate the back heel down to the mat.

Find a secure place where your foundation is nice and solid. Gently as youre ready, open up the heart. Lift through the torso and reach strong in the arms. Palms of the hands face each other. Exhale back through plank, down to the floor and inhale up through upward facing. Exhale back through downward facing. Take time to adjust yourself. Feel the comfort and the deepness of the stretch as youre exhale coming forward, inhaling through standing forward and exhaling the head toward the knees. Inhale the arms out, exhale the hips down, inhaling up. Exhaling to Namaste. For the advanced, inhale the arms gently out to the sides. Draw the strength through the belly, the torso and the hips. As you fold into the chair pose. Exhale raise the hips and lower through forward fold. Inhale through standing forward arch. Placing the hands outside on the front of the feet. Exhale hop lightly back to the plank position and lower down. Elbows stay tight to the torso. Inhale up to upward facing, opening up the heart. Exhale back to downward. Take a breath. Align yourself, sweeping your right leg forward. Come to a strong Virabhadras pose, with the back ankle and heel pressing actively away from the tailbone. The front knee takes care not to surpass the ankle. Breathe deeply through the belly. Reach actively through the tops of the fingers. Exhale yourself back down. Inhale in through upward facing. Exhale back through downward facing and draw the opposite foot forward in Virabhadras I, Warrior One. Reaching forward, again take care not to have the knee surpass the ankle. Feel the strength in this pose, as you breathe deeply through the belly. Lift through the heart, press back through the back leg. Exhale down through chaturanga. Inhale through upward facing. Exhale back to downward facing. As youre ready, hop lightly forward. Feet between the hands. Hop only as lightly as you can allow the feet to softly land.

Standing forward arch. Exhale forward fold. Take your time in the forward fold. Raise the toes, pull the belly in. Ideally, the chest will hit the knees, rather than the forehead. Inhale up utkatasana, take a breath and feel the strength in this pose. Inhale up to todasana, and exhale Namaste.

The boat pose

For the boat pose, upward facing, reach the arms out with the fingers close together, and the thumbs pointing up towards the ceiling. To intensify this, reach the feet up to heart level or straighten altogether. Keep the heart open, bringing yourself into a V. Press up with the belly. Fingers are pointing down towards the feet. This is a beginning posture. For more advanced, youd extend the entire torso, pressing up with the belly, feeling the strength in the abdominal muscles and extending them back and down. Gently taking a hold of both ankles, allow yourself to let the pressure in the feet pull the arms back and away from the heart. Open the heart, open up the belly, take a deep breath in and lift actively through the ankles reaching up with the head. Breathe as much as you can in this posture. You can release the tension in the low back by pulling the ankles down towards the gluts.

THE HOLY LONGING: Syl: really explains, nails it on the head what the third Chakra, and its by one of my favorite poets, his name is Goethe and the translation is by Robert Bly and the name of the poem is [inaudible 51:13:8], The Holy Longing. And its one of my favorite poems. And the first couple of lines are [German reading 51:26:1 to 51:32:5]. How did I do? Did you get it? Tell a wise person or else keep silent. For they who do not understand will mock it right away. I praise what is truly alive, what longs to be burned to death. In the calm waters of the love nights where you have begotten, where you were begotten, a strange silence comes over you, as you watch the silent candle burning. Now, you are no longer caught in the obsession with darkness, and the desire for lovemaking sweeps you onward. Distance cannot make you falter. And now arriving in magic, flying and finally insane for the light, you are a butterfly and you are gone. And so long as you have not experienced this, to die and so to grow, you are only a troubled guest on the dark earth. Namaste. Oh, the question was where do you get the poem? great if you have an instructor that has an understanding of kinesiology, and I would recommend that you find an instructor that really speaks to you. There are a lot of good yoga instructors around. I teach a class. You can get information in the back, but also, that you work on with your own limits. Theres an edge between progress and pain, and its kind of a gray area. So to take a few minutes and then to repeat the pose several times, youre going to feel much more opening than if you just do it once and then youre done. Does that make sense? Anything else? On cutting the connection, could you do that for a child? Im not understanding in which way? UF: Syl: Well, a child thats had an upsetting day or whatever and is dealing with. Youre cutting their connection with the day? You can kind of imagine them, Carol that would be a better question for you, but you can sort of channel for people, right? Ok, shell get up and answer that. But I would say yes. And I teach Tommy, my seven year old to do it. Thats good. Right, different levels. You can do them as an entire practice. Oh, how often do you do them? Sorry. Do you repeat them on their own for an individual Chakra, or do you lace them altogether to get a whole body thing? Yes! Next question. No, Im kidding. You if youre dealing with a specific issue, like belly, Im going to do a whole bunch of stuff thats going to open up my belly. Im going to use the vinyasa and the flows to warm me up and I might use the vinyasa for the power to just warm me up when Im getting ready to work on my belly. And then Ive got a whole myriad of other postures that will go out on my newsletter. Every month, every other month there will be a posture and what it does and how to work in it and how the different levels go.

WORKING OUT ISSUES: With the third Chakra, what Carol just said is youll experience things happening. Is anyone experiencing things happening as they move through the series? Things show up. When the teacher is ready the student will appear, but you are your own teacher, so youre both there all the time. But when youre ready to work on these issues, its going to show up for you in a real poignant way. Just one thing thats fairly, something Id be willing to share here, because of the nature of the group and why were here, but this month, for me, Ive gone through a real healing path, Ive been told, and I dont mean by Carol, that I am to write a book about things that Ive experienced in my life. Ive seen things that no human being should see, ever. And been through a lot of adversity and its like the stretch. My adversity and your adversity were feeling the same thing baby, it doesnt matter how bad it is. Everybody is experiencing their limit. And I was getting ready just doing things, looking at everything that was going on with this DVD thats coming out, the CDs that are out, and just the way my life has shifted in these incredible ways. Just since doing this. And I just had a real clear message, from, I would refer it to my creator, that was just like, You know, hon, Im going to take care of you even when youre successful, just like I did when you were going through difficult times. Its going to be ok. And it was a real amazing thing. Little things like that show up. I had a couple of major power struggles at work that were way out of proportion. And things like that will show up for you as you work on the Chakras. If you decide to spend four years on your root Chakra, youre going to learn vast amounts of really anal stuff, its going to come to you. Its one of the beautiful things where the Chakras, you know you dont find the flowers in your body. It doesnt matter how deep you look, youre going to come up with lint in the belly button.

I dont think youre going to see that. Maybe, if you do, get back to me. Because Id like to work on that. But its like the wind. You see the trees move, but you dont see the wind. Theres energy here and theres a spiritual connection through this whole process. And when youre ready, these things will sort of manifest for you. When youre ready to see it, youll have sight. And the sight, even though it can be really terrifying sometimes, will serve you. And heal you. Is that what youre looking for? I just love it. I love the work and I love my life cannot be physical, spiritual and emotional, they are all existing at once. And I cant survive if I try to just be a physical being, or just a spiritual being. Its got to be all together for me.

Carol:

Im always curious about that. Why youd come to the third one. But thats cool, because this is a great seminar series and Id encourage you to pick up and Ill be talking about why you want to have the whole series versus just one piece of it because this is an energy system that works as a whole team. Theyre meant to be communicating to each other and working as parts within a whole. And yet in our culture, very few people have their Chakra systems working as a team system. They are operating independent and in duality a lot and some Chakras arent even working for some people, barely at all. Theyre getting over, they get overwritten by other Chakras. Energy forms, it finds a way to survive. It will form its own ability to take care of unmet needs, but it will do it in a real messy manner that creates dysfunction.

CULTURE IS DRIVEN BY THIRD CHAKRA: Carol: One thing I want to teach you tonight, last month we talked about the second Chakra, which is in this belly center down here. Now were up into this energy center and youre Chakras are an evolution of you. They develop all through your life.

Birth, your base Chakra is your only Chakra operating, really functioning. Its the one thats connected you to this plane. Being in the body, being in the physical. You go through stages of development all through your teen years, that these are meant to be opening and flowering. This Chakra and this Chakra have an essential communication that is needed. This is representing the child essence, this is sort of the adult-parent that this is right brain, creative, free, playful open, spontaneous, this is lets get the job done logic, come on, get it going. And when this one is dominant without the influence of the second feeding it, this just becomes overwhelming. And our culture is heavily third Chakra driven. The epitome reality show right now that represents third Chakra, take a guess, Donald Trump. Big time third Chakra. Im going to beat you out. I mean Survivor is it gets down into the base Chakra just about making it in the physical realm without very many comforts. That gets your first Chakra really going. The third Chakra is all about beating somebody out, if its over emphasized, if its running to heavily, if it doesnt have the influence of the second, to just say you know, tenderness, lightness, its all ok, itll have destructive abilities. That identity and power. A lot of people arent using their power because power represents people being hurt. When power is just the essence of your will, putting your will into action, influencing outcomes. And so power has, its either misused or not used in this third Chakra energy. And so what we have going on in this area is a flow of energy that ritually runs in this circular direction around called the belt flow. And when that is sluggish, or stagnant, it creates a block between these two energy centers. They cannot connect. This energy is not able to flow up and feed this energy. So Im going to teach you how to open that up. Its a real simple

process. This isnt Donna Edens material. This is a sample of the kind of techniques you learn in her energy medicine information, her book receipt, her videos.

OPENING THE CHAKRA:

Carol:

So stand up, were going to open the belt flow and get that going so your second Chakra can be supporting and giving influence to that third Chakra. And all you have to do is take your hands and wrap your fingers to the back side of one side. So my hands are on the back of my side and Im going to start pulling and then pull it all the way across and then do the other side. Same. All the way across. You might want to do that a couple, three times. A child laying in bed at night, if you take your hands and put on the side where theyre waist line is and just massage that and then pull it across and take your hands this way and pull it across, youre going to keep that belt flow developing and doing its job, which is to become the connector to, its the energy connector to these Chakras. And so your second Chakra guarantees youre going to use your third Chakra energy wisely. And it gives you permission to start to really let it flow and open. So use that this month and let that open up and flow. The things that have happened for me this month, each month I can look back and say, ok, were in this third Chakra energy, which is about identity and power. Its about really standing up for your value, your worth, your personal value, doing it your way, what feels right to you. Not doing it the way others think it needs to be done. What do others want versus what do I want? And what supports me? Just some of the events that occurred our adopted son had his appendix out, emergency appendectomy. Thats all, thats a lot of third Chakra stuff, which is the some of the primary organs are all in this center, the pancreas, your kidney, your spleen, the adrenals, all right there.

Heres a young man who was diagnosed with type I diabetes nine months ago with his pancreas kind of quitting on him, and he just had his appendix out. You think hes got some third Chakra stuff going on? I think so. Coming out of an environment where he his choices were based on what other, what he perceived he needed to provide for others. It was never about his own will and his own whats right for me. And thats I just think something like an appendectomy is the bodys way of making a major shift to get rid of toxic energy and get it out of the system. And he maybe thats the whole point of the appendix, because it doesnt seem to have any other function. Its just collects. Get rid of it! If you want to go that route, open your body up and just kick the thing out. But you live in a stressful environment and the bodys taking that toll, sometimes the body just decides thats the quickest shift to make, to get the surgery, rather than to try and cleanse it with a lot of energy healing. And in his case, thats just how it played out. I had a really big aha in what I want to do with the work I do. Ive toyed in the last few probably a year, do I even want to do this private practice part? When you work with as much energy of people as I have, and you get to see a lot of the same stuff over and over, it I like change. I like new territory, Im a pioneer. I like to try new things and approach it new ways. When it gets routine I lose interest. Out of love and willingness to serve humanity, Ill keep doing it but its like oh here I go again. Theres satisfaction in helping people and seeing big changes that occur, but Id really thought about closing that part of my experience up. Not even doing it. And yet theres huge learning opportunity in doing it. Expanding that.

And as I get a lot of insights when Im out jogging or running, it just hit me. Do it the way you want to do it. If you could do it any way you want to do it, how would you do it? And I thought how Id want to do it, and I though how Id want it to charge, and that weekend I changed it all and if you go on my website now and you want to work with me, its $5000. It is! Regardless if anyone else thought I was, I had an interesting experience where somebody had previously looked at the prices of a few weeks earlier, and they were like, Whoa, what just happened here? And they tried to talk me down. They tried to engage me for, and they even pleaded, begged kind of energy.

They refused to pay it and I knew. It was almost like the universe put me in this position to say, Carol Tuttle, where are you really at? It was like a test. These people are just playing a role for me. Theyre out giving me the opportunity to really be clear on what I want. I just knew if I were to compromise or cater to their request, I was selling out on myself and I wouldnt do it. I just said this is what I have to offer now. Theres many other people that can offer what youre asking me to do and I no longer do that. Because you can go get RET sessions all over the place now in Utah. Theres well over 150 people trained in that. And theres a lot of people offering that. So whats showing up for you thats really inviting you to stand in your power and say this is right for me and it feels good. I had some people displeased with my choice, it was like, and yes I did it! I stayed true to myself and its ok to do that and thats their stuff if it threw them off or if they feel judgmental towards me or have an opinion that doesnt isnt real pleasant. It was like that was just out there and it didnt matter. Thats fine, they can have all that. Thats their experience. Its not a problem.

THE GODDESS CHAKRA:

Women especially are being asked to stand in what I think we could appropriately call your Goddess Energy, which is your third Chakra. Who are your creation energy. These two Chakras working together, because creation is the second. Doing something with that is your third will. What are you going to do with that creation energy? What are you going to will it forth to create? What do you create with your will? Your intention. With well get going on up with heart, throat, and then its just amazing what Gods given us to be to start using. What we have the power to be instrumental in.

Somebody was asking about can we help our children with that cutting the, what did you call that Syl? Cutting the cord. I very much feel as a mother, its your intuitive role to be in tune with what is not in your childs greatest good, especially teenagers. That if theyre starting to get energetically corded with their peer, male or female, it is not in their best interest, oh you bet Im going to cut that energy. Im right on top of that one. Because they have needs, unmet needs, and theres issues going on and thats going to be played on by negative forces. Your awareness of that and using these tools with inspiration gives you so much power to benefit your children and loved ones. So yes, and example might be I have a daughter that may be hooking up with a guy that I just know is not in her highest good. I believe we can order the energy to obey us. And if were given permission to me, thats do we, have we had the confirmation that we have permission to do this? When we know that we have, you can order that energy to only form in like in my teenagers lives, before certain ages, I asked that their energy only conform into friendship and admiration for the opposite sex. But the energy can only form into that experience. Especially in the time in which we live. Knowing this is incredibly powerful to aid our children. Because there are forces very potently out there playing on this same system were learning to be conscious with. Because thats the system it connects with. Those adversarial forces. Its playing with energy and where its vulnerable. So Im very invested in my learning and being taught to be applied to my role as a mother. So far its working, because Ive got five children that have had very successful, that phase of their life has been very successful. They dont know, thats the thing. Im not like sitting down with them saying, Well were cutting that energy with that guy youre hooking up with. Not at all! If its, it depends on the level of safety and trust that youve created with your child.

You can feel the energy about what you can converse about. Im certainly not going to wait until my child gets it, because thats my role. Im to be the more conscious player in the relationship. Thats my job as the adult parent. To be conscious and do Gods will. So its not according to the childs will. Its whats God giving me permission and supporting me in what Im able to be an intervention for. Ive worked with people that thats one of the intentions, or something thats come up in a session is that dynamic with a child and I teach them how to do it. Like you can step in there and its theres agency involved, so it may be overridden, but you just keep doing it. You just keep having hope that thats going to make a difference. Because you know the potential and thats you have to hold in the vision. The vision is who is this child? To pray and ask to know the truth of who your child is as God knows them is a really honorable thing to ask for as a parent. And Ive asked for that in my prayers to know my children and God knows them. So I can hold that vision of them and theyve certainly, we have one son that created his biggest thing weve seen in our children as far as an issue that was very potent and had the ability to be to impact his life path was a pornography addiction that he had for close to six years. We didnt know about it the first four. And that young man is now serving a church service mission in Thailand which we think is kind of ironic because thats the porn/prostitute energy of the world. That guy saw it. Hes just really clean with being in that energys been really cleaned up and hes just really aware. So was I really active in a parental role with what I knew? When it wasnt looking real good a lot of the time and what my job was that particular addiction has tons to do with the third Chakra because its about that youre getting your needs met through a real base level experience to get a connection with yourself. Males especially, the third Chakra is going to be kind of the connector to your masculine and feminine to the other lower

Chakras. Those all root you in your masculine and feminine and since the third Chakra is about your identity, your relationship with yourself, that feminine/masculine is going to be the design of that will be really potent there. So that will be theres a lot of feminine that females that have a masculine shell that operate in a masculine front and theres, not as many, its less common for a masculine to be operating in a feminine because of our evolution of the feminist movement, women took on a masculine presence, kind of a shell to make up for what was a wounded feminine. So thats really the time in which we live, the healing of the goddess. The feminine coming out in its power and identity. The gemstone necklace that is really beneficial for that evolution of the goddess the will of the creation women have is called rebel. Its about bringing the masculine and feminine into harmony and connecting with your true feminine energy and operating in that. Youre really just being set in that, thats who you are. Because its appropriate that women have strong emotion and make a stand and say, Alright Ive had it! Its like when youve just been putting up with everybody and you just take a stand and say Alright. Ive got something to say and youre all going to listen to me. Thats a real powerful, feminine, Im worth it, valuable and its making a difference. Im going to make a difference in your lives, because Im an important, woman as a mother, to really own your identity in that feminine is to know I am just a phenomenal influence in the lives of my family, in the direction their lives are going. Its powerful. So another gemstone necklace that really works strongly with the third Chakra is mother of pearl. Our identity forms first and foremost with our connection with our mother.

When were in the womb, we start to take on the energy of our mother and that influences our perception of who we are. So we start to play in this life and a lot is based on how our response is to our mothers. We start to form our identity of our being with that mother/ child experience. Whether we start to think things like, our identity starts to form around, Are my needs more important that my mothers? Which is uncommon. Its more common that most people form perception of my mothers needs are more important than mine, which can then turn into other peoples needs are more important than mine. I must please others to get my needs met, see it just rolls off into these patterns then. So mother of pearl invites in what I believe is a nurturing mother energy from our heavenly mother to fulfill what was not given in its entirety so that you can establish that need being met, that you were meant to be cradled in a mothers arms and her love to be held and to be loved just because you were born and you have a Godlike identity. Mother of pearl nurtures that identity. So you just put on a little mother of pearl necklace and in most cases, every time Ive introduced those to clients, they put them on and theyre like Its so sweet! Its just so sweet! If your child is going away for school or for a trip for an extended period, send them with a mother of pearl, tuck a mother of pearl in their pillow or just have it in their space some time in their day. It plugs in mother energy. So if you didnt get your needs met, mom didnt do that job or whatever, wounded, she didnt get her needs met, its just a generational playing down through the lines that wounded mothers cant meet their childrens needs, youve got generations of that going on in some families. Here you get a mother of pearl necklace for $40, its like wow, thats a lot to receive for a very minimal cost. Look into those, its one of my favorite tools.

A few other, while Im talking about gemstones, before we get into work, Im going to work with some people here tonight, because its almost every adult has third Chakra imbalances, because they werent through their childhood their needs were not fully met. And that all forms a bad identity, feeling worth it, and valued. The identity empower segment of your childhood is between three and six years old. Thats when you start to form a sense of anonymity, you have identity, you have your own unique identity, you go off to school, you start to relate to the world separate from always being with your parents. You start to have a sense of power, and at that point that stage, based on the feedback you get and how you responded to it, you form your sense of is it ok to use my power? Based on the feedback that you attract and the patterns in your family. And so youre either operating under powered by saying its not ok to use my power, so you altar your values to fit in or please others, or you say what you think others want to hear, or you just so much need to be validated by the outside world to say youre valuable, that youre compromising your life force energy on a daily basis. So if you were raised in a family where you were encouraged to use your power and make choices and to move forward in your life, then thats a benefit and you were blessed because of that to have that as your experience. Now each of your Chakras, God can make up the difference for where any parent fell short. I wouldnt be sitting before you today if that were the case. My parents raised me the best they knew how but they were very wounded in their own adult state. And I guess I fired them, released them from my hookup of who I looked to to get the job done, and I turned to God and decided I had real parents in my heavenly mother and father and asked them to make up the difference for what my earthly parents didnt do.

Ive been blessed in that and weve learned about a lot of processes and tools that just become vehicles for that to happen. Because thats all thats happening. None of these things really heal, theyre just your props that allow healing to occur. That energy is wide open for you for the taking, but our problem is we create defenses and survival mechanisms and blocks where were not letting it in and those become habits. And we get stuck. Thats why we use all these tools because on our own, were just recreating what we dont want because thats what were real familiar and thats what weve done to survive and we get in survival existences. And we settle for a lot of mediocrity.

GEMSTONES FOR THE THIRD CHAKRA:

The gemstones that I recommend for this Chakra, of course theres citrine, which Im wearing. Its the color and the gem energy of the third Chakra. Just wearing this will energize and work with that energy center. Its one of the first gemstones we bought about seven years ago. My husband bought a citrine. Its what Syl mentioned is, it starts to relax patterns because those patterns are about the survival of the person of yourself. So if you were to imagine a pattern having this kind of a hold on you, citrine relaxes the energy so it loosens up so that you can then choose again, and choose a new pattern. So this is a really, and it connects you with your spiritual will and your spiritual identity and power, yourself as God knows you. The thing thats interesting about the gem citrine, it represents the yellow ray, which is the energy of that Chakra, the color yellow, thats why youre wearing yellow tonight. studied with about what therapeutic gemstones do as energy tools. The gemstone for the third Chakra has not been made conscious to our human awareness because were not ready for it, because we havent learned the lessons that are preparing us to truly know ourselves as God knows us. Look at kind of what were creating here still. If we were operating in that consciousness more collectively we would be able to bring that in and start to work with it. But were still doing Im better than/less than and I need to were still blowing up a lot of people and creating power struggles. Thats all third Chakra stuff, like war and conflict and disagreement is all about whose will is going to take over and I dont get into that too much because I do feel that theres evil forces that design that work through the third Chakra that need to be contained on this earth. So I have various opinions, I certainly would rather work things out without that kind of intense warfare and yet Im all about we cant let this stuff filter out culture because were still so vulnerable to design. So when, sometimes you have to play the game at the level of consciousness were still functioning at. So I just dont get too opinionated about, I just take care of the business in my own home. I figure if everybody did that, wed get a lot farther faster. The magic gift which is a very awesome gemstone we use, what this does in essence is you put this on and it creates an energy of Im worth it! Yeah, I deserve that! Now if you have a shopping tendency, you might not want to wear this because you might be going out buying a bunch of stuff saying Im worth it! Im buying that. You have to wear that with some caution. I do have each of these, and Ive noticed them distinctly in my experience to have that influence. Another really awesome one is called True Self. You can look these up in the catalog as far as whats in them, but True Self is it just feeds you the energy of being your true self. Being true to

yourself. Speaking whats true for you. Making choices that are true to you. Being true to yourself. Having a clear relationship with yourself, so that you can only be true to yourself. Knowing who yourself is, and being true to it. This is an awesome one for teenagers. Because the design of the energy, the developmental need of a teen is to be able to feel like they fit in, but they can lose themselves in the collective. First if they dont have a connection big enough here to go, Oh Im able to operate as my true self in the collective and be true to myself and still feel like I can fit in without compromising my true self. Ive seen our children do that very successfully as they moved through their teen years. I have this hanging on one childs bedpost right now, that I felt very strongly needed this influence to start to identify with his truth and operating in his thoughts and choices being true to himself. So thats a really powerful influence for that stage of life. Carnelian, we brought some of those in tonight, they are the second Chakra, but because those work together, if you were to wear the combination of carnelian with citrine, thats going to get those two Chakras working together. This with this. Those two are going to get the communication running. Which is really powerful, its really awesome. And then the other two that I have to show, quartz, its good for all the Chakras because quartz brings in life force energy and it feeds all seven color rays that your quantum, molecular your system of light/sound vibrations and light frequencies. Theres a seven color light rate frequency that your whole quantum self is designed and quartz brings in and balances your color ray system on all levels. And it feeds you life force energy. If you lose a lot of life force energy, if youre weak and youre depleted, it will fill you up and pump you up. It will pull energy to you and then as you learn to contain it and hold your own by being true to yourself, because every time youre not being true to yourself you lose life force energy, in

every thought or choice or behavior that in your system knows intuitively when youre not being true to yourself. You deplete yourself, and its just like flushing a toilet and you lose that energy. So if you have patterns like that, quartz is going to rebuild the system and be able to feed you the life force you need. And then that last one I have is purple ray. We have some of these catalogs in the back which you can read about these different ones, and for some reason I have to look this one up. My recollection of this, letting go of attachments. They call this the Buddha necklace. Its like the Buddha energy is no attachments, just everything is ok. Attachments limit you. You can look into that more if youre interested in that. Any questions about these particular gemstones or how these work with you as far as an energy tool? UF: Carol: I have a question about the size, like what if you just have a ring or earrings in one of these gems? What about having just one gem, like an earring or ring, if its contained as jewelry and metal it will completely disengage its ability to work with you. The company we work with, called Gemispheres, I never even did anything with this kind of stuff before I was introduced to this company. I wasnt going to gem shops and gem shows, it was just a little too far out for my tastes, but when I learned of this company and what they sell and the quality they sell, I got it very quickly. Ive always been very careful about anything I do, to ask is this appropriate? I was my answer was these are very powerful tools and theyre very pure. Ive never compromised. If youre going to use it, I just use theirs. I dont try to find a substitute. I just trust the integrity of this company. placement is around your neck because of the radiation factor, radiating outwards and inwardly. And your system is a buoyant, spherical system. You have a spherical energy field around you, it operates in, its like a container. So they either form these in chips or spheres purposely because it has the most ability to work with you. Does that answer your question? UF: Carol: Are you supposed to get one of everything or how do you know what you need? How do you know what you need? We actually because of our series of working to help you learn of how these energies what theyre about, how theyre useful, were teaching you the ones with each Chakra. You basically use your intuition and call them and get a consultation with them and theyll start to ask you questions about whats going on, what are you looking for, what are some of your needs. Theyll make recommendations. And then you look at your pocketbook. If you dont have the means to buy a $2000 necklace, theres something at a $50 level that is going to help you, I guarantee that. You dont have to go out for the big guns. They may not be your most wise investment anyway, its going to just blow your circuits.

But should you have all seven Chakras? Should you? I dont know. Maybe not, it depends on you. Some people may not need any, you know. Hopefully people in the world who have got things going well enough they dont need any of this stuff. There strategically placed. But then again, whats your intent? Are you trying to fix something, or are you going for more enlightenment? They have different levels of influence. Are we going for relief, or are we going for Im going to enhance my being. evolving. I want to keep getting to know the potential of me and learning about this really fascinating energy system thats me and share it with others that are interested. Theres levels of intervention they have. So no, thats an issue you need to clear if you think Oh my gosh I need to get all of them! I dont even know where to start. Start with one. Get the mother of pearl. Its $29. Its safe. Alright, I want to bring some people up to, let me do my handouts. Lets do some Chakra work and clearing. UF: Carol, you were talking about the feminine and masculine, a few of us in here really in touch with our feminine sides, we just happen to wear pants all the time. But what does that have to do with the inclination of some people to be homosexual? You know, thats an area thats so variable, that I dont even try and approach that when it comes to this work. I dont think we understand the nature of that enough to even understand why its playing out as pervasively as it is. So I know when to keep my mouth shut and just say, Im really not sure. And Ive worked with people that have their sexual orientations different than mine, they identify themselves as gay and some have been wanting to altar that, others have been wanting to come into harmony with being at peace with that. Some have been very active in that lifestyle and others because of their spiritual values and their agreements with God have wanted to be an integrity and be abstinent but still theyve tried to change it, and its just not happening, so they want to come to peace with this is who they are, and this just happens to be their life path and the challenges they get to experience. So Ive seen a lot of variety in how people that even respond to that. I think its wise in our households with children, in a manner of integrity to create an environment where children can come forth if that is there experience, because that is just the time in which we live. That if that is developing in a child and if youre prayerful in that respect to know if theres anything you need to know

thats not made aware, or your childs withholding because of shame, and especially in a religious culture where its a very awkward experience. That is still the one in my first book, that was the time when in the early 90s we just couldnt even talk about sexual abuse, it was just for the shame on those words was so heavy, people werent able to even own it to heal it. Thats shifted in a decade later, thats an entirely different experience. In most religious cultures that are very conservative, that have a lifestyle culture that tends to grow from its spiritual base, that is an issue weve not embraced openly, thats homosexuality. In your own religious experience, how many people that you may know that may have that going on in their family, but how quiet that is? That we have got to create safety around that and love everyone and still be true to what God, what I believe are my what I choose as my value system. Ive been blessed with knowing a lot of people in that lifestyle without feeling the need to judge their choices and choose to love the individual and not let it influence my value system. I hold very strongly to that.

I would like to work with three people that have an issue with, a people pleaser, somebody thats a big people pleaser. You have to be willing to show your stuff here. Let me think what I want. A people pleaser, controller, you may be married. Thats a third Chakra deal is control issues, and people pleasing, and self esteem. Just really struggles with self esteem in a sense of. So who would like to volunteer for the people pleasing experience? Im going to call you up at the same time. No volunteers. We have a male people pleaser? That would be very interesting. Control, has a need to control. Put your hands up high. I need to get a sense of what Im looking at and you can come up. Youd never guess that about you. Youre just so light and feathery looking. Come on up. Come all the way up on stage. Let me move some of this so youre not tripping over my props and stuff. I need one of my sheets, my clearing sheets. Ok, what were going to do. The third one is self esteem. Do you have a fragile, put your hands up real high. The one that said she was all three. Now Im going to interview these people, they can kind of describe what they noticed, why they think they have those patterns. Tell us if you feel inclined to, tell us your name. And we just battle it out. Well how do you experience, what evidence do you see in your life that you need to control? I need to control her anger when shes angry, when shes happy, when shes sad. Do you have a spouse? Yes. Do you play it out in that relationship? No. Just with the child? Yes.

Do you see this in your generations? Ok, with a father then. That can, its just a parent then. So, what was that like for you, as a daughter to control what did you notice? What was it like? What happened? He was, hes much better now, but he was a very angry, had a lot of temper, and I was very, very intimidated by a lot of his reactions. I always felt intimidated and that he was the one in control and I was very resentful. So when youre daughter has emotion, then its triggering you. So if this were happening here, its like you have to control that, so you feel it creates a sense of safety because its not, because of your experiences as a child the way your father was it was unpredictable.

You may have felt like you were a cause for some of that emotion so you may, you have to control all that emotion in a child so you dont feel out of control. You start to feel out of control. Ok, so emotion, kind of doing overs in their emotion. That will make her do more if youre trying to control it. Taisha: Carol: Taisha: Carol: It does. Is she pretty strong willed? Yes. Ok. So youre third Chakra is it tenses up, when you have the emotion, Im noticing and imagining her in this situation and what Im noticing her third Chakra going [sucks in breath]. Shut it down. Control it, this isnt safe. As a child, she didnt have that ability. She was the child with a parent. But when youre the parent, you can say, Im big now, I can drive a car and youre little. Guess what? Im taking over, because you know what? I cant stand this feeling that I had all through my childhood. Ok, so thats more about your inner child is freaking out when her childs running all this intense emotion. Gosh its gotten late so fast. Ok, you say youre a people pleaser? Do you please women? Or Authority figures?

You know its interesting, as I was listening, Im probably a dichotomy. At home, Im a controller, but at work, Im very much of a people pleaser. Ok. Im afraid, even though Im a manager, Im afraid sometimes to confront people, because I dont want to hurt their feelings. Ok. Do you need to please the people that supervise you? Is it important that you look good in their eyes? Get validated? Yes. Ok, whats going on here is his third Chakra is depending on the energy of others flowing to him saying, Youre awesome, look at you go! People that he puts in a position of authority, and thats a real common cycle of getting that energy fed. But its all about what do I need to do to operate in this world so I can get that hit, pump myself up? There are people that exist in such a fragile state that their whole world is about titles, roles, doings and feeding that third Chakra. Youve got, youll burn out too.

I didnt know I was this bad. No, you may not be, Im just saying, in an extreme case, youll burn out eventually and it will collapse. And Ive just reached that. Have you? I have hated myself my whole life. Well, I dont believe she really does. Put your arm up like that, and say, At a core level, I really hate myself.

At a core level, I really hate myself. No you dont. Thats impossible, quite honestly. Shes picked up a program that says that would be an accurate response to who she is, but at a core level, thats why it creates pain. Thats important to understand. Thered be no pain here, thered be no suffering if that was an accurate belief at a core level, that shes just not level and she hates herself. The reason pain is created because intrinsically designed in her God-given blueprint is Im an awesome human being, Im a wonderful woman, and I love myself. So when you think that at a superficial level, you suffer huge because you are so out of harmony with your God-given blueprint. So, thats important for you to know. Your truth is operating and its this is getting bounced off it and it can only cause you this kind of suffering. So theres no having to go find that, its in place. You just have to train your mind and your emotions to line up with it. I dont think I need this. What were going to do is work with all three of these. Were not going to do EFT tonight, so for those of you who want to do the tapping stuff, you can read through my hand out and play with that. Im going to use an energy magnet with this Chakra on each of these three and this script. Those of you who arent familiar with these little tools, Ill take this at least three or four days, one time each, I dont do it daily, but Ill have it in my purse, I have one in my bathroom, and Ill work these in each of my Chakras. Just getting them going. Polarity of this magnet is just going to work it. Go down the backside, so what Im going to do, and youre all going to get the benefit of this, because were going to proxy you up here. So youre going to pretend theres an energy release magnet right here in your Chakra while were all saying this together. Were going to go through this script. Is the video going to run out? I think its neat we have a feminine/masculine combination, so just to show you something, youre saying youve bought into a distortion that youre not lovable. So lets see how it checks on that. Im convinced Im not lovable. See how strong she is on that? See how shes been convinced of that?

Ok, so I need to validate myself through outside means. Like he doesnt have his own inner validation running, so thats operating for him. And yours is emotion scares me. Shes really strong on that. I wanted to show you that because Im going to check them all after and show you how this shifts. You can collapse that so fast with this simple tool and process. Everybody take a deep breath. Uncross your arms, your legs, open up this energy center, push up, push it out. You can even put your hand here, that would be nice, its comforting. Another position thats really great is to cradle it like this, put your elbows on your side and cradle it. This is the nurturing this energy center needs. Im going to walk up and down between you and just repeat after me. Releasing lack of power. Lack of physical energy. External world has power over me. Resentments. Inability to take in sweetness. Lonely. Miserable. Unable to move forward. Release it from every cell. Releasing lack of courage to risk. Inability to honor myself. Lack of relationship with self. Dependant. Cant take care of self. Cut off from my needs. Self doubt. Undeserving. Guilty. Cant be loved for me. Deep hole inside. Trying to fill it up from the outside. Fear of others. Thoughts about me. Without drama I will die. Let it go. Releasing.

Wounded. Hurt. Stored pain. Helpless. Success issues. Unable to change. Stuck in defense. Rejected. Discounted. Nothing comes together. Nothing works out for me. Cant forgive. Always putting myself down. Fear others will put me down. Need to be noticed. Stuck in recreating my pain over and over. Release it. Once and for all. Let it go.

Do you notice how these each fit these people? Releasing. Wounded. Hurt. Stored pain. Success issues. Unable to change. Stuck in defense. Rejected. Ok take all these other statements pull them all into one, take a deep breath, and release it. Let it go. Two more deep breaths and let it go from all your Chakras, from the third Chakra. Release it from every cell in the body. Let it go, flip it over, now repeat these refrains. Thank you God I am powerful. Im using my power wisely. Im deserving. Im high self esteem. Im deserving joy. And happiness. Im creating my thoughts about myself in my life. Im lighthearted. Im ability to take in the sweetness of life. Breathe it in, turning on truth in every cell. Deep breath. Thank you God Im moving forward with my life. I deserve to be all that I can be. Im worthy of your time and support. I have value. I am fulfilled. I am myself. In the present moment. My needs are as important as others. I give myself permission to use my power. Take a deep breath, taking all those other refrains and just put them in. In your case, emotion is scary. You tried to hold it up. You know, you put your hand right here and say Im safe no matter what happens. No matter what emotion is being expressed, I am safe. Think of yourself at age five and give that to her. And say you know what, youre safe no matter what happens. Tell her shes safe now. And you, I need outside means to validate me. See you collapsed that, you are now connecting with your inside. Im convinced that Im not lovable. See you cant hold that anymore. Your energy knows truth, and when you give it

attention, it starts to very quickly come to life for you and hold you in that truth. The reason you have to do it over is because you just got a habit of thinking its the other way around. You just have to dedicate yourself to, like any kind of youre training, youre retraining your mind, retraining your emotions to now support truth. Because its there, it can shift that fast. So energy works quick. Its just now, are you doing the daily process with yourself to keep it present so that youre alive in that truth. If you vibrate that truth, youre walking that truth. Ok, folks. Id go ahead and finish those on your own. We do sell these little magnets or you can just use your hands. What I teach on the actual paper is to use EFT, tap it out, tap on the truths, you can use it with any modality, you can just use your hands.
