Johnson-Phillip All Faiths Chapel Announces the th 56 Session of the Annual Ministers Conference at Prairie View A&M University Prairie View, Texas

February 4 & 5, 2014

Johnson-Phillip All Faiths Chapel P.O. Box 519 MS 1021 Prairie View, Texas 77446

Greetings!

Welcome back to an ecumenical movement at Prairie View A&M University. A place that is affectionately called the Hill. After Twenty years of service, I am still excited about the things God is doing and has done in my personal life and campus ministry. Personally, God has granted me to experience two decades of campus ministry. In those years, I have watched students, faculty and staff embrace their spirituality to form positive relationships with God and each other. It is my prayer that God will grant me a few more years to continue to create an atmosphere of ecumenism that will allow others to appreciate their differences within their faith experiences. Our theme for this 56th Session of the Annual Ministers Conference, Preaching...Empowering Gods Church for Social Change continues to challenge us to preach Gods Word and fulfill Gods purpose in society and our churches. Our Nation will be strengthened, if people of faith and preachers unite to share the message that truth and liberty are to be experienced by all humankind. As preachers of the Gospel, we must continue to preach to change the injustices of an ill society. As you know, time continues to move forward and people are hungry to hear a prophetic word from God in these troubling days. So I say, Preach on! It is always my personal honor to express my sincere thanks to those colleagues in ministry who believed in the dreamthe dream that ignited us to fuel flames of enthusiasm about whats to come in campus ministry. Campus ministry is a tool that makes the difference in the lives of students who come to receive an education of the first class. Thank God for those ministers who believed in contributing to a great cause which allows students to fulfill their educational goals. It is my prayer that God will grant you favor to continue to attend and support this great conference and see what is in store for years to come. I look forward to your attendance and participation. Faithfully yours,

Charles H. Lewter, IV
Dean of Chapel
