The first issue Tropica! 1niform was a ?ery smart !ooking co!onia! sty!e khaki green #acket and trousers with !ong !ace up boots and a sun hat( This pro?ed uncomfortab!e and was rep!aced( The !ater uniform was khaki when new but %uick!y faded to a creamy sand co!our( 4oots and straps were brown !eather with shades ranging from tan to dark brown( Aften, the so!diers had a ?ery miBed appearance as hats, trousers and #ackets in fie!d grey were a!so worn( %nsi#nia German army so!diers wore Heer symbo!s on the co!!ar( Afrika Korps wore an /Afrika0 band on the !ower !eft s!ee?e
