Velda Clatfelter came into the fellowship of the First Christian Church,
Marshall, IL from the Methodist Church in 1965. She had served two years as Sunday School treasurer(a position she held for 19 years) when Exie asked her to assume the responsibilities of forvarding-agent (now termed for* M wardlng-secretary) She has, since then, faithfully received, deposited
and receipted all monies from churches and Christian friends designated for Exie and her work. This she has done for love of Christ.

A little frame building housed the E. 49th Christian Church when Exle went there to
work with Russ and Marion Blowers as youth leader, Russ and Marion stayed on in their ministry but Exle chose Japan as her field of service and E. 49th became a living-link
church. The church moves into its second
new building as Exle completes her 25th year as missionary. Russ writes, "Your de
