EMSE 280 Contract

between Michael David and Janice Moore This agreement is hereby enacted on 12 September, 2013, between Michael David and Janice Moore. It serves to denote the tasks and responsibilities that are held by the Project Leader and the Group Member. Both Michael David and Janice Moore will serve as Project Leader and Group Member, in times defined by the professor of EMSE 280. The starting date of this contract is 12 September 2013, and the ending date is 12 December, 2013. The said parties hereby agree to the following duties, outlined below. The value to the right of the duties serves as a defined value, in order to quantify how well the team works together, and determine strengths and weaknesses. Project Leader (100 points) Turned the manuscript in on time... 20 Scheduled meetings............ 20 Completed laboratory work.... 20 Made assigned work clear and easy to understand. 10 Showed up prepared for lab 10 Communicated in a manner simple to respond to... 10 Sent laboratory goals twelve hours before attendance.... 5 Cleaned up at the end of lab....5 Group Member (100 points) Completed assigned laboratory work......25 Did assigned duties on time.... 25 Showed up prepared for lab.... 15 Worked well with given instructions.. 15 Assisted with cleanup......... 10 Responded to Leaders communication within 30 hours. .. 10 Either Member (20 bonus points) Edited written components of manuscript together*...... 20 How well these tasks were performed will be measured after each lab, the Project Leader reviewing the Group Member, and the Group Member reviewing the Project Leader. Unexcused failures to attend laboratory work will be taken with a twenty-five point penalty. Unexcused absences from other Thursday sessions will be taken with a five point penalty, unless if the absentee is the presenter/editor, in which case they will be taken with a fifty-point penalty. By signing this document, I agree to the terms outlined here, and understand the penalties which will result from any failures to complete these terms.
