(SAW) said,
(Every traitor will have a banner on the Day of
Resurrection, by which he will be known.)

narration says,
(On the Day of Resurrection, for every traitor a banner
will be erected by his backside, and it will be said,
"This is the betrayer of so-and-so,
the son of so-and-so.'')

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullah bin Unays said, I heard the Messenger of
Allah say: Allah will gather the people -- or His servants -- on the Day of
Resurrection, naked, uncircumcised and Buhman.

I asked, `What is Buhman' He said, (They will have nothing with them).
Then a voice will call out to them that will be heard by those far away just as easily
as it will be heard by those near:

"I am the Sovereign, I am the Judge. None of the people of Hell should enter Hell if
he is owed something by one of the people of Paradise, until I have settled the
matter, and none of the people of Paradise should enter Paradise if he is owed
something by one of the people of Hell, until I settle the matter -- even if it is only
the case of a slap.'
We said, `How will that be, when we have come before Allah barefooted, naked,
uncircumcised and having nothing with us'
He said, By merit for good deeds, and recompense for evil deeds.

And (remember) when We said to the

angels;"Prostrate yourselves unto Adam."
So they prostrated themselves except Ibls
(Satan). He was one of the jinn; he
disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will
you then take him (Ibls) and his offspring as
protectors and helpers rather than Me
while they are enemies to you? What an
evil is the exchange for the Zlimn
(polytheists, and wrong-doers). (50)

I (Allh) made them (Ibls and his offspring)

not to witness (nor took their help in) the
creation of the heavens and the earth and
not (even) their own creation, nor was I
(Allh) to take the misleaders as helpers

Surah Saba (34:22-23)

Say: "Call upon those whom you assert (to be associate gods) besides Allh, they possess not
even an atoms weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in
either, nor there is for Him any supporter from among them. (22)

Intercession with Him profits not, except for him whom He permits. So much so that when
fear is banished from their (angels') hearts, they (angels) say: "What is it that your Lord has
said?" They say: "The truth. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." (23)

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before

Adam.". And they prostrated except Ibls (Satan), he refused and was proud and
was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allh) (2:34)

[Ibls said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him
from clay." (38:76)

18:50-51

It is reported that `A'ishah, (RA), said that the

Messenger of Allah (SAW)said:
The angels were created from light, Iblis was created
from smokeless fire, and Adam was created from that
which has been described to you.
Muslim

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said, "Iblis was not one of the

angels, not even for a second.
He was the origin of the Jinn just as Adam, upon
him be peace, was the origin of mankind.''
This was narrated by Ibn Jarir with a Sahih chain.
At-Tabari

Muhammad bin Ishaq reported that Ibn

`Abbas said,
"Before he undertook the path of sin, Iblis was
with the angels and was called `Azazil.'
He was among the residents of the earth and
was one of the most active worshippers and
knowledgeable persons among the angels.
This fact caused him to be arrogant.
Iblis was from a genus called Jinn.''

Jabir (RA) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying,
"If a person mentions the Name of Allah upon
entering his house or eating, Satan says,
addressing his followers: `You will find no where to
spend the night and no dinner.'
But if he enters without mentioning the Name of
Allah, Satan says (to his followers); `You have
found (a place) to spend the night in, and if he
does not mention the Name of Allah at the time of
eating, Satan says: `You have found (a place) to
spend the night in as well as food.''

Narrated Atiyyah as-Sa'di (RA),

AbuWa'il al-Qass said:
We entered upon Urwah ibn Muhammad ibn as-Sa'di. A man spoke to
him and made him angry. So he stood and performed ablution; he
then returned and performed ablution, and said: My father told me
on the authority of my grandfather Atiyyah who reported the Apostle
of Allah (SAW) as saying:
Anger comes from the devil, the devil was created of fire, and fire is
extinguished only with water; so when one of you becomes angry, he
should perform ablution.

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri (RA)

Allah's Apostle (SAW) said: When one of you yawns, he
should try to restrain it with the help of his hand since it is
the Satan that enters therein.

Finally, at the end, whom do we blame and

what will Satan say?
And Shaitan will say when the matter has been decided:
Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised
you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I
called you, and you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame
yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your
former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah (by
obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful
torment for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers)
(Ibrahim 14: 22).

Surah Al-Hijr



My servants are such that you (Shaitan) have no power over them
