Inspiring Conservation

We organized Annual Sundarbans Conference in 2007, 08 and 2009 where all respective stakeholders participated. We awarded 3 persons each year as "Mangrove Warrior" for their outstanding contribution to protect and restore mangrove by plantation, conservation and education.

Conducted a year-long popular education in the forest dependent and indigenous Munda communities on using legendary stories for conservation education.
