Montage
Description: I blended two photos together using Adobe Photoshop. Used Masks, crop tools, filters, etc. Date: October 23 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign Objectives: ad a mask to a photo, allow the mask to gradually show photo, ad filter and text to the design. Process: Imported photos, created new masks, blended photos, used rulers to line up images and then added selected filter for texture. Added text and adjusted size, location and placed it. Used Grain Filter

Logos
Description: Created logos for a product I have been working on. Decided what style would best suite the product Im working on. I used everything in InDesign refined them and received feedback from classmates as well as 10 other individuals. Date: October 30 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, in Design Objectives: Create three separate logos for company, implement design principles. Process: Decided on fonts for logo title. Did research on what logos look good and what ones dont Thought of what I remember about toasting marshmallows and tried to incorporate a fun style into the project I then Created an overall layout of the assignment and then added color, shapes, etc. Refined fonts. Asked for more feedback, detailed and finished overall designs.

Leterhead
Description: Professional letterhead for business correspondents. Established a theme and color routine for overall business layout. Designed and illustrated to perfection. Designed and illustrated on Adobe illustrator and InDesign. Received feedback from classmates and others. Perfected logo and format. Date: November 6 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Adobe Photoshop, In design, illustrator. Objectives: Create letterhead for professional business. Incorporate principles of design into log, stationary and card. Process: Made professional quality Letterhead for Mallow Products Company. Identified quality wanted for product and established a feel and color vibe. Decided on logo to use. Utilized fonts and layout to organize and create logo. Received feedback from classmates on design. Refined and perfected logo and design for letterhead layout. Made last minute changes and added white space for cleaner look.

Brochure
Description: Created a professional brochure for Mallow Products. Mallow Products is a company I created for school. I made a brochure that provides information on a product for roasting marshmallows mess free. Every pic except one were all taken and edited by myself. Date: December 5 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Adobe Photoshop, in design, illustrator. Objectives: Create brochure for product or company. Have 4 quality images and have a full bleed as well as a text wrap. Process: Identified the product and learned what to write about. Created a body copy of the required length. Made it make sense and flow well for the project. Made pictures and text fit well and added text wrap. Decided on fonts and colors. Organized and arranged on In Design. Made final edits as needed.

Flier
Description: Flier for leadership conference Date: October, 4 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: In Design Objectives: Create Flier that creates awareness and invites people to event Process: I created and designed flier that has information on leadership training meeting.

Event Ad
Description: Created an event ad for fundraiser. Date: October, 10,2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Word Objectives: Create Ad to inform community about awareness and raise money. Process: Used Word to create and publish Ad for climbing event with all proceeds going to help out the seniors in the community.

Web Page
Description: HTML website created and worked on in Text Wrangler. Date: November 19 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Text wrangler Objectives: Create HTML site that has coding embedded so that logo is visible and has description of design. Process: I chose to create a logo for a company I have created called Mallow. The main product is a marshmallow cage that allows the marshmallow to be perfectly toasted without the need to puncture the marshmallow with a stick and creating a mess. The Mallow cage eliminates the mess and creates a golden brown marshmallow that leaves you mess free.

Imaging
Description: Practiced photography skills and edited them in Photoshop. Focus was on alignment, and other aspects of photography. Date: October 16 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 section 5 Julie Peterson Programs/tools: Adobe Photoshop, in design, illustrator. Objectives: Have three quality photos that are taken by you and ad filter, flash, and alignment. Process: Took photo, edited it, cropped it, de saturated the background, added filter, added color to foreground. I used the glass filter, added some greenish color to the skull and made sure that the lines were good. I zoomed in and added little details that needed to be fixed.
