U.S. Springfield 1866 Second Model Allin Conversion Trapdoor Rifle w/Bayonet
Antique NSN , 50-70 Centerfire caliber, 32-3/4" barrel with good though slightly pitted bore. The finish on the barrel is mostly patina with small areas of what appears to be original finish. The breechblock has mostly patina on the exposed surfaces and quite a bit of original black oil-quenched finish on the interior surfaces. The lock has just a few traces of color with overall wear and mostly shades of gray and brown patina. The hammer finish is dark patina as are the barrel bands, trigger guard and butt plate. The breechblock has the 1866-over-eagle head mark at the chamber end. It has the solid bottom surface, not the arched contour of later models. It is hinged with a screw held in place with a spanner nut. The lock has most of the 1864 date; has a full though faint eagle with the two-line US SPRINGFIELD in front of the hammer. There is no serial number visible and no eagle mark behind the breech. The barrel bands have a U stamp; are held in place by spring retainers. The middle barrel band is missing. The stock is fair to good. It has been repaired very nicely at the point where the middle barrel band would have been by joining the front of one stock to the rear of the original. The retaining spring was replaced by a wooden inlay. The inspectors cartouche has worn away. There are the following markings present: an 8 behind the lower tang; on the right near the butt plate, there is a 47 facing the muzzle and an R facing the butt. There is an 8 just in front of the butt plate on the comb; there is a small hole between the 8 and the front of the butt plate. The action functions correctly; the firing pin moves properly in its spring-loaded channel. The rear sight is the correct notch with flip-up two-hole peep. The front is the barleycorn type. The rear sight has dull silver colored areas just in front and to the rear where it was soldered on. The bayonet has no markings visible and is a Z-pattern socket bayonet with retaining ring. The triangular blade is about 18 long; the overall length is about 21. It has about 40% finish. Comes with a 36 one-piece cleaning rod with a jag tip and slot and a leather sling in poor condition, having a break in the leather just behind the front swivel. The existing finish has not been disturbed; there may be additional marks under the patina. The overall condition is antique good.13-142-0009 B-3 (1000-1300) Antique

Eli Whitney US Model 1812 N. Haven Musket w/Percussion Conversion

Antique NSN , 69 caliber, 42" barrel with good bore having an even light brown coating the length with some pitting. The metal finish is mostly mottled shades of patina with pitting, a few tool marks and areas of abrasive cleaning. The stock is very good with a small crack on one side of the butt at the butt plate. The plate is fairly heavily rusted. The lock is correctly marked N. HAVEN in a scroll. The interior of the lock is in the whi te, having been extensively cleaned and polished. The inletting for the lock also shows wood that was cleaned out. The area under the stock that is revealed when the lock is removed also shows cleaning and polishing; the barrel was not removed due to frozen barrel bands and the possibility of damaging the stock to remove them. The nipple is broken off at below the surface of the barrel. There is a 1F stamped on the stock near the hammer. The action functions correctly. Made between 1812 and 1824. Comes with the one-piece iron ramrod with a bell at one end and threads at the other. The overall condition is antique good.13150-0006 B-4 (600-1000) Antique

Chigusa-Nagoya Full Mum Series 27 Type 30 Arisaka Bolt Action Rifle

C&R Serial # 25598, 6.5mm Arisaka caliber, 31-1/4" barrel with good slightly pitted bore. The blued finish is about 95% with overall fine pinpricking and scattered freckling. The stock is good though worn. The rear band and hand guard are not present. The bolt is missing the internals and the safety. The rear sight is very good. The mum is complete. The condition was downgraded because of the missing parts, not due to the condition of the existing parts. The overall condition is fair to good. 13-142-0001 A-10 (175-275) C&R
Carcano Bolt Action Rifle Italian 1944 Terni Model 1938

C&R Serial # BN4582, 56.5mm Carcano caliber, 21" barrel with fair though pitted bore. The blued finish is about 90%. The stock appears to be refinished; is fair to good with a lateral crack on one side from the wrist back. Fixed notch sight. The overall condition is good.13-142-0002 A-34 (125-200) C&R

Joslyn Breech Loading Centerfire Rifle

Antique Serial # 1xx75, 50-70 caliber, 22" barrel with fair though pitted bore, complete but pitted rifling. A 50-70 dummy round chambered correctly. The barrel finish is mostly dark patina with overall light pitting. The breech, lock and other parts are mostly gray patina with some pitting and wear. The stock was refinished long ago. There was a repair to the area at the right rear of the receiver which has since lost most of the repair wood. It appears that it was repaired with hide glue. There is longitudinal cracking along the right forend. The lock is marked JOSLYN FIREARMS Co / STONINGTON CONN. / 1864. The back of the breechblock is marked JOSLYNS PATENT / OCTOBER 8th 1861 / JUNE 24th 1862. There is US on the top front surface of the butt plate. On the top of the block is a serial number 1xx75 with the two missing digits obliterated by a groove milled into the top of the block, possibly to aid in sighting. The block was converted to centerfire by plugging the original firing pin hole and drilling a new one. There is also a dished out area at the front of the tang, possibly to aid in loading the longer rimmed centerfire cartridge. The block pivots on one drilled boss at the rear of the block; the screw on which it pivots fits into a matching boss on the receiver. There is a bit of metal on that boss that has chipped away. The block is a bit loose-fitting. The saddle ring bar and ring are present. The flip-up rear sight is mounted about a third of an inch in front of the receiver ring. The Joslyns that were converted to centerfire were sold to France for use in the Franco-Prussian War. Most of those were captured by the Germans and sold to Belgium and other countries. This specimen has the Belgian perron proof mark on the underside of the breech block, along with a *N, but the star is next to the N as opposed to the usual *-over-N. Essential Arms Pre-Ban J-15 Partially-Stripped AR-15 Clone

Serial # EA033441, 223 Rem caliber, 20" (plus birdcage flash hider) barrel with very good bore. The metal finish is about 90% with the upper being a darker color than the lower. The stock is worn; has some staining; is sound and in good overall condition. The lower comes with a mag release installed; the safety, bolt release, buffer, buffer spring are in a separate bag. It also comes with one 10 round magazine. All other internal parts are not present. The upper is designed with the deflector and forward assist boss; no internal assist parts. The bolt and carrier are present along with the charging handle and installed dust cover. The sights are not present. The handguard retainer ring is missing. This appears to have been a project in-progress and is sold as a collection of parts to be used as the basis for an AR-15 clone. It uses the J-15 receiver made by Essential Arms until 1994. Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II Pre-Ban Semi Auto Rifle

Serial # SP314934, 223 Rem (5.56mm NATO) caliber, 20" (plus birdcage hider) barrel with good bore. The black finish is about 85% with some missing finish and some spots of pitting. The ribbed handguard and fixed stock are good to very good. The barrel is about 0.72 with a small step down just before the flash hider. It is marked C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7. There is a forward assist; no deflector. The open sights are standard; there is a Weaver style rail attached with a knurled nut on top of the carry handle. The action feeds and ejects when cycled. Comes with a canvas sling and one magazine. The overall condition is good.13-155-0027 B-6 (750-1150)

J Stevens Model 235 Exposed Hammer SxS Shotgun

C&R Serial # A20851, 12 gauge, 30" barrels with good bores; some pitting at the chambers. The blued finish is about 40% with dark patina, abrasive cleaning marks, pitting and about 40% color on the receiver. The stock is very worn; overall good for its age with some dents, small chips and a tiny hairline. The double trigger action functions properly. Made from about 1912 to 1932. Remington Model 722 Bolt Action Rifle w/Scope

C&R Serial # 370407, 222 Rem caliber, 26" barrel with fair, pitted bore. The blued finish of both the rifle and scope are about 855 with overall freckling. The plain stock is very good with a few blemishes. The scope is a Lyman All-American 6X with some haze in the optics and a quite useable view. Made in 1955 ("B" date code). No rear sight; the front sight is present. Comes with a leather scope cap. The overall condition is fair to good. 13-142-0004 A-14 (150-275) C&R
Remington Model 722 ADL Bolt Action Rifle

C&R Serial # 382696, 222 Remington caliber, 26" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 95% with a few scratches and a little freckling. The stock is worn though good, with checkering at the pistol grip and forend. The rear sight was removed for use with a scope; there are additional tapped holes on the barrel for scope blocks. The holes have filler screws. Made in 1956. Comes with Weaver scope bases mounted on the receiver. The overall condition is good to very good. 13-142-0005 A-20 (225-375) C&R

C&R NSN , 410 gauge 3", 26" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 90% with freckling. The stock is good with some wear and a little staining behind the receiver. There are a couple of hairlines in the forend. The action feeds and ejects when cycled. The Springfield name was dropped by Savage in 1948. Remington Model 550-1 Semi Auto Rifle w/Scope

C&R NSN , 22 S/L/LR caliber, 24" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 90% with some light pitting. The plain stock is very good with a few minor flaws. The tube fed action feeds and ejects when cycled. The scope is a Weaver B4 22 scope on a receiver mount. The open sights are also present. Made in 1948 (TT barrel code). NSN , 410 gauge 3", 24" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 95% with scattered freckling. The stock is very good with a few small wear spots and other blemishes. Marlin Model 43 Takedown Pump Action Shotgun

C&R Serial # 2479, 12 gauge, 28" barrel with good slightly pitted bore. The blued finish is about 50% with gray patina and some freckling. The stock is fair with a mottled refinish, applied butt pad and some chips and cracks. The action is frozen; the mag tube has some denting. Made 1923-1930. Savage Fox Model BSE-D Single Trigger Ejector Boxlock SxS Shotgun w/Raised Vent Rib
NSN , 12 gauge 2-3/4", 28" barrels with otherwise very good bores some abrasive cleaning inside at the F and IM choke areas. The blued finish is about 95% with scattered freckling. The press-checkered stock and beavertail forend are good+ with some average wear and a few dings. The non-selective single trigger functions properly. The selective ejectors function. The right ejector catches the rim of the shell on the frame, unless the barrels are opened quickly; it does eject the shell properly when so opened. The raised rib over the slightly swamped barrels has mid and front beads. Made between 1966 and when the 1968 GCA required serial numbers. The overall condition is good. 13-142-0011 A-22 (300-500)
Savage Sporter Model 23C Bolt Action Rifle

C&R Serial # 64828, 32-20 Winchester (32-20 WCF) caliber, 25" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 90% with some freckling. The Schnabel-tip stock has some missing finish and staining; has a couple of hairlines. The bolt is broken where the inner piece meets the sleeve. The original sights are present. Belgian FN Browning Auto-5 Semi Auto Shotgun

C&R Serial # 411640, 12 gauge 2-3/4", 28" barrel with very good bore. The blued finish is about 75% with a little freckling and patina on the balance. The stock is good with average dings and wear; has the rounded (soft) pistol grip. The action has the safety at the rear of the trigger guard; it feeds and ejects properly when cycled. Single front bead on a raised base. The barrel has the ** indicating a modified choke. Made in 1953. The overall condition is good. 13-142-0013 A-27 (300-400) C&R
US Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle

C&R Serial # 1278109, 30-06 Govt caliber, 24" barrel with fair to good bore having slightly soft rifling with a few marks. The metal finish is about 85% and is thinning. There is scattered fine pinpricking. The straight grip stock with finger grooves is worn though good. It has a faint inspection stamp SADAL (Springfield Armory and Daniel A Leary, the inspector). It also has a faint circle-P. The barrel is an SA 10-30 with flaming bomb. The receiver was drilled and tapped for a scope with two holes in the ring and one in the bridge. The original sights are present. The action feeds and ejects properly when cycled. The trigger is not serrated; the butt plate is not checkered. C&R Serial # 2700, 12 gauge, 30" Damascus barrels with fair, slightly pitted bores having a few small dents. The metal finish is mostly abrasively-cleaned gray patina. The stock is worn though good. It has been sanded and refinished. Exposed hammers and a working lock. Made in Belgium for Crescent Arms. No bead. Made in 1900 to 1930. Wards Western Field Model 87-SB87-TA (Stevens 87) Semi Auto Rifle w/Tenite Stock
C&R NSN , 22 S/L/LR caliber, 24" barrel with good bore. The blued finish is about 50% with patina on the balance. The stock is worn though good with some white oxidation, scratches and small dents. The action feeds and ejects when cycled. The rear sight is missing the elevation wedge. The Tenite stock variation was made by Stevens in the 1950s. The action functions as a tube fed bolt action when the bolt stop is engaged and as auto with the stop disengaged. It feeds in semi-auto only with 22 LR ammo. Richards (Belgian) SxS Damascus Side Lock Shotgun

Antique NSN , 12 gauge black powder only, 30" barrel with good though slightly pitted bore. The finish is mostly dark brown patina on the barrels with some abrasive cleaning and light pitting. The action has gray patina with light overall pitting. The stock is good with overall wear and a wedge-shaped repair between the wood grip cap and the grip. The butt plate has a few flaws as well. The ELG proof mark is without crown indicating pre 1899 manufacture. The action functions correctly. The overall condition is antique good to very good. 13-142-0017 A-12 (100-150) Antique

The hand-checkered, fancygrain walnut Monte Carlo Schnabel-tip stock is very good though in need of some finish attention. The butt pad still has a little give to it. B. Fuller, the gunsmith who made this from a Belgian large ring FN action, paid great attention to detail. The bolt is jeweled; the safety is a short-throw type to accommodate the scope; even the magazine follower is jeweled. He put his name on the left side of the chamber area and the serial number on the bottom. The bolt handle is nicely bent; has a checkered flat on the underside of the knob and a hallmark at the bolt body. It has a little oxidation at the knob. The scope is a vintage Bausch & Lomb with very good optics and good scope housing with about 95% finish. Tokyo Koishikawa Siamese Type 46/66 (or 45/66) Mauser Bolt Action Rifle
C&R Serial # x000 (2000), 8x52Rmm caliber, 29" barrel with very good bore. The finish is about 98% of an arsenal refinish likely done when the Siamese (Thai) government converted these from 8x50Rmm (Type 46) to 8x52Rmm (Type 66). The one-piece stock is very good; probably also from the time of the caliber conversion as most of the original stocks had the Japanese-style 2-piece butts. The arsenal inlay around the magazine well may date from the same period. The rear sight has some of the markings missing along the tangent edge which was also done during the caliber conversion to compensate for the ballistics of the new round. The rear sight graduations are in Thai numerals. The receiver marking has the Thai Charka over Thai characters for RS121, the year of the royal dynasty when the rifle was adopted. The serial number on the receiver bridge has Thai characters for 2000, with only the 000 portion being readable in English. There is debate whether this is a Type 45 or Type 46 due to the nature of the Siamese calendar. The dust cover is present. The butt has the swinging trap for cleaning supplies (none included). Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Barreled Action w/Block & Lever
Serial # 122400, 22 WCF caliber, 25-1/4" barrel with poor bore. The blued finish is about 30% with pitting, thinning; the receiver is in the white having been extensively cleaned with residual pitting. The area at the muzzle where the front sight had been soldered is cleaned leaving sanding marks. The barrel is drilled and tapped for a rear sight. The caliber appears to be a bottleneck 22 caliber cartridge similar to a 22 Hornet; the chamber was not cast. The receiver has a fair Winchester address line with a US and flaming bomb above it. The receiver may have originally been from a Winder Musket but the chambering is wrong. It may have been rebarreled or rechambered. The forend lug on the bottom of the barrel is off center about 20 degrees indicating that it was probably rebarreled. The breech block included is for a rimfire cartridge. Filli. Gamba Atlas Trap Gun Break Action Shotgun

Serial # 18683, 12 gauge 3", 32" barrel with excellent bore. The blued finish is about 99%. The receiver is polished steel with very good quality engraving with about 70% coverage. The action employs a Greener cross bolt that engages two lugs at the rear of the barrel. The bolt sits a touch proud on the left side when the action is closed; the lockup is very tight. The checkered pistol grip stock and forend are excellent. There are teardrop inlays at the wrist just above the rear of the trigger guard. The raised vent rib has a milled matte surface with a cartouche in which the name - ATLAS TRAP Gun is hand engraved, and the butt pad matches the name. The butt pad show a little age cracking. Just forward of the breech is an engraved oval with a large 1 in it. The pull is approximately 14 -1/2. The trigger guard is serial numbered to the gun; the trigger group looks like it might be removable. The raised vent rib has a white bead. There are a few light areas of surface oxidation at corners and seams. Hidden from view on inside surfaces is a former owners name lightly engraved on the barrel, receiver and forend. This is a high-quality shotgun that was made until about 1991. At that time the Gamba Brothers (cousins of famed shotgun maker Renato Gamba) decided they could no longer make shotguns of this quality to compete against the lower quality imports; they closed the plant. Colt Lightning Small Frame Pump Action Rifle Antique

Serial # 11206, 22 Short or Long caliber, 24" tapered full-octagonal barrel with fair or better bore, though pitted. The metal finish is uniform gray and brown patina with shallow pitting and overall surface wear. There are signs of very old abrasive cleaning under the patina; the Rampant Colt logo is gone except for a faint trace in the pitting. The stock is worn though very good with a few dings on the buttstock and a good+ rampant Colt butt plate. The slide is finely checkered with the contoured end and rates very good. A dummy round fed correctly and ejected crisply, though the lifter is occasionally a little sluggish. Fixed sights. Made in 1889. Colt Lightning Small Frame Slide Action Rifle

C&R Serial # 44627, 22 Short or Long caliber, 24" tapered full-octagon barrel with good tough pitted bore. The blued finish on the barrel is about 95%; appears to have been touched up or reblued as some of the letters in the address/patent lines are a little weak. The barrel has a little wear, especially along the edges of the flats. The receiver and other parts are a mix of a little original finish and mostly gray patina with a few surface oxidation spots. The Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the receiver is visible though weak. The stock was refinished; some of the finish material got on the barrel and receiver. The slide is uncheckered and has no swell at the tip. It has line-cut embellishment in the shape of a Y extending from end to end; may be a replacement. There is wear on the stock and slide; 1 x 3 of the butt at the toe has been replaced with new wood. The vent type butt pad is by Pachmayr. The frame is a little proud of the stock in places. A dummy round fed smoothly and ejected crisply. Fixed sights. Made in 1900. The overall condition is good. 13-001-0010 C-22 (300-500) C&R

Churchill Windsor I SxS Shotgun

Serial # 364011, 20 gauge 3", 26" Cyl & IC choked barrels with very good bores having evidence of being lapped to the current chokes. The Cyl choke is a few thousandths larger for a wider pattern. The blued finish on the barrel is about 90% with freckling that has been cleaned and a little silvering at the muzzle. The scroll-engraved receiver is evenly covered in cleaned freckling that is starting to turn to a patina. There is a little cleaned surface oxidation on other parts as well. The checkered pistol grip stock and forend are good with the forend having a darker color with more grain. The rubber butt pad is very good. The pull is 14-1/2 and the drop at the comb and heel are about 1 and 1 -1/2 respectively. The Windsor I was imported by Kassnar until about 1991. The high quality of the gun required too high a price point to compete with lesser quality imports. The double trigger action functions correctly. Snider-Enfield 1870 Mk III Portuguese / British Breech Loading Carbine

Antique Serial # B520, 577 Snider caliber, 19-1/2" barrel with good bore having weak (5groove) rifling with some pitting. The blued finish is about 90%; is a likely very old arsenal reblue. The colors on the block and lock are good with some tool marks around the weak crown over VR behind the hammer. The Enfield 1870 mark is very good. The stock has a number of average dings; is probably refinished. It has the Portuguese FA over 1896 that is worn and a bit weak. There are no markings near the butt; the top of the butt plate has been refinished leaving only traces of numbers. The sights appear to be original. The Portuguese-pattern saddle ring is mounted behind the brass tang. The brass has been cleaned; has begun to re-age. The action functions properly. The barrel is marked STEEL and has the III on top. The serial number is on the right side of the barrel. There is a number 8011 on the underside of the breech block along with a proof mark. The carbine has the full British military set of marks indicating that it was in the first order sent to Portugal consisting of Sold Out of Service (surplus) arms. The pin and spring housing on the breech block mount appear to have been refinished or replaced as they have a better finish than the other parts of the carbine.
